Maximum human cruelty and suffering but with little girls.
Exactly.
Shirobako was great because it had the right mix of having an interesting field and cute girls, them being just secondary elements to the story.
Then there are shit like Gi(a)rlish Number, which focuses solely on characters and is a shit anime.
And now there's that Hotel Anime by the guys who made Shirobako, trying to repeat the success formula. Except it's about CHANGING BEDSHEETS instead of animation, so you can't focus it on the field, you'll have to make it 99% about the girls.
What a load of crap.
Didn't we actually have this last season? I dropped it after the first episode and barely remember it
It was a short about a high school girl who serves at an italian restaurant
It was boring. Got 2 episodes in I think
>my little Warboss can't be this kunnin

How can someone like Shirobako but have such objectively bad taste?

Care the explain with Girlsh Slumber is any good?
Shirobako orchestrated each cour around 1 anime and paced events accordingly, combined the climax of deadlines with climaxes in personal conflicts, showed in detail a lot of how animation is done.
Girlish Number is just a bunch of passive-aggressive girls going to parties and SOMETIMES dubbing shit.
Even Shirobako had more voice acting and sound stuff than Girlish Slumber. This show was objectively insipid.
Huh, it's almost as if they are completely different shows trying to convey a different type of story? Shirobako is a realistic sol/drama that conveys the work process from their point of view. Girlish Number is a comedy satire about the underside of the industry, about how the industry is going to shit from light novel adaptations and a insistent need to monetize on moe and sell bullshit like live shows and how the source material is often thrown to the wind and how young immature voice actors who have just made their big break well above their pay grade.
Occasional visits to the catalogers. One barely speaks, and is super shy. Another looks angry all the time but isn't really, and the last one is insanely energetic and outgoing, but also stupid.
Clensing the world from undesireables with little girls.
The undesireables wouldnt allow it to be made tho.
>uptalking
I knew I was arguing with a teenager.
Anyway, allow me to refer back to your question >How can someone like Shirobako but have such objectively bad taste?
You are the one saying they are "completely different shows", so how can it not get through your skull that someone might like Shirobako because of all the things I have said, but dislike Girlish Dumber for not having ANY OF THAT STUFF?
Because you can't dismiss a show based on the premise that It is not something else, I can't say Mushishi is a bad show because It is missing Mecha because that's not the point, you can say that to you personally that type of show is not interesting, but you can't say it's bad just because you don't like the genre.
>Teenager
Wow you really got me there, I can be condescending if I want.
A show about voice acting... WITHOUT VOICE ACTING!
If you're going to make everything subjective, any show can be liked by some audience and considered "good". Girlish Tumblr is a faint shadow of what Shirobako managed to be, and I already stated why, when all you have to back you up is how "the show is about something else".
If you think my critique doesn't apply because "that's not what the show is supposed to be", then don't even barge in defending your dozefest, since I was clearly advocating for animes which have a Shirobako approach to storytelling/production and your show doesn't qualify for that.
Don't argue I should look for things "in context" before calling something bad, when my usage of "bad" had a context in itself.
Live a happy uncritical life of shittaste all you want, but away from my serious discussion Ainu stamp collection website.
>Thailand
>Girls
How have we not had a car with little girls show?
Girlish Number isn't trying to be Shirobako, its not about voice acting at all, voice acting is merely the lens we use to view and satirize the industry as a whole. There are ways of objectively analyzing shows based on quality of sound, animation and writing, its fine to advocate for more shows like Shirobako, I would love one, but that doesn't mean that you criticize other shows for not filling a niche it wasn't meant to fill in the first place.
Finally I can post this
