Is anyone watching this? If so, where are they getting episodes? HS isn't doing this show.

Thanks, waiting for TL/a/nons to crank it out.

Based fucking /m/

Waiting on the timers, to be precise.
Warning in advance, it's likely the subs are going to be late next week because WaSuYu movie 2, but for the following weeks I'll attempt to translate faster.

That's cool; it'll probably go faster once anons' schedules and the process get sorted out.

user posted the subs on /m/

Thanks for the quick hard work, anons!

Thanks /m/, fucking Netflix.

A new file was posted with some typos corrected. Didn't do any comparison myself.

Currently watching it. Timing/translation seems about right so far 6 minutes in.

Finished the episode. Translation and timing seemed fine the entire way through.

Very good start. Still not a fan of MC's design, but hardly a deal breaker. Though she had an ugly ribbon, instead it's just a part of her hair apparently.

Oh god nice.

I liked that the crew didn't bully her too much, outside of Ido pointing out she could have used the information better. That professor is a jerk though.

So are the threads for this gonna be forced to /m/ like Fafner? Looks pretty dead on Sup Forums

I imagine most people don't know there are subs available today, given they're not in any of the obvious places.

when ep2 airs start a thread with subs DL in the OP

Or just upload the subs to nyaa so it is at least noticeable that subs are out.

>not using your propellers

Lewd

Upped.

So this is Mouretsu pirates done right.

It's going to get deleted since you used someone else's group tag

/m/ always delivers goddamn

Well, Moretsu Pirates was a little more pirate adventure and this is a little more sci-fi but they're both good

What exactly is the point of getting Murata to do (in my opinion great) charatcer designs if you're going to use crappy 3DCG anyway?

So it would be better to upload a zip file then?

I like the space suit designs and I think the two girls look cute enough even in 3DCG. Not that they're getting most of the screen time anyway.

Either no tag or user or something. Try asking in the /m/ thread the guy who did it.

>What exactly is the point of getting anyone to do anything
>muh 2D mech
2D mechs nearly always look like utter shit

CGI shows still need character designers

I only timed it, so I can't speak on behalf of the TL and the guy that fixed the typos, but I guess no tag is better, or just tag it as ID-0subs or whatever.

Doesn't really matter.

>That Engrish ED

I like the inspiring vibe though, Kageyama's Engrish is almost charming

Both the OP and ED sound like something from the 90s

90s was the best era for anime after the 80s, so I don't mind

Glad they got her body back, this way we wouldn't have to spend too much time on it.

This was fun. Loved every second

Are people watching this because of the director?

no, because the ep was fun, also mechs and cute girls

>mecha
>original
Doesn't matter who's involved, as long as it's not some Dai Shogun level abomination it always gets a chance.

Not necessarily, but it helps that he's going for more actual sci-fi stuff this time around rather than less.

I was attracted to this because of the director and studio when it was announced. Then, the premise seemed interesting and the actual episode was great fun with an interesting setting and a great cast of characters

I'm no mecha fan, so was considering if pick it up. Guess I'll watch it this weekend. Thanks.

>Dai Shogun
Oy, Dai Shogun was fun, and had some qts, too!

Holy shit makes me so happy. I was almost certain this wasn't getting subs LWA is lucky enough to be LWA and done by Trigger, Kuromukuro at least had PA as the studio but this is a studio with hardly anything and it's 3DCG. I'm from Bubuki and a big fan of that. Still fuck Netflix though.

Dai Shogun needed more animation. The designs were too detailed for whatever budget they had.

What makes me angrier about the whole deal is that apparently there's some non anime shows Netflix is willing to release weekly as an exception to their binge watching focus and even for anime, it seems they do release weekly episodes for Japan, so why can't they do it for the rest of the world if they have no problems making exceptions to their focus on binge watchers?

I read this exact comment on 2chan a few hours ago.

Conversely, I've seen people there and on twitter remark they didn't think the designs would work but like them all the same. It helps that they're simple enough (Murata's characters are mostly distinguished by their clothes rather than faces).

Would be cool if someone also rip it(even though i don't need that).

And it's deleted
nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=916511

It's honestly really stupid. Hopefully they learn soon enough since even Amazon releases weekly. I just want to watch a currently airing show as it airs.

916524

Netflix doesn't understand Anime, I mean they are trying to invest in live action Anime adaptions, and don't simulcast their shows.

Anyone going to rip it?

But you like marathons of live action shows, right? I guess they think you do

>mook robots blasting away blanketing the area when there's a single target
>don't get grazed even once
>mc-chan somehow loses momentum and gets dropped behind
>space clouds

From Netflix? Not at this time, they have not uploaded it.

I like marathons if it's an older show that is already finished. I don't want to be forced into marathoning way after initial airing due to retarded business model

Nah just combine to user sub and RAW.

Live-action series, at least werstern ones, always have stupid cliffhangers at the end of every episode and they're horribly slow-paced. I find them almost unwatchable unless I marathon. So I usually wait for a season to finish airing before watching a live-action show.
Anime doesn't have these 2 problems, and there's the fun of discussing on Sup Forums and waiting for the next episode.

It's real!

Their AI must be dumb as fuck since they are cheaply made mass production bots.

Also, I found this:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_weather

Is this in relation to the space clouds or her losing momentum?
Because I'd argue that she loses momentum as though she were letting go of the vehicle in a vat of jelly.
As for the clouds, this just looks like a picture of a night sky.
Not saying it makes the show shit, I was just pointing out small details that annoyed me, it's like the wind in CCA when one mobile suit passes someone and blows them away as though there was a substantial amount of matter that the suit was moving to blow away the person.

I also noted, and it may just be me, but the red pirate robot looked like a weird emaciated Turn-A.

You'll just revive, it's fine, really!
Transferring your mind is totally safe.
Just like teleportation!

I have nightmares about this kind of stuff.

Tell me about that. Teleportation rocks as a concept but I'd be scared as fuck about it.

To be fair, this is a world where they have storms that burst in space and space rocks that can be used to make jumps. It's apparently willing to go deep into science fiction as a setting but not necessarily the most realistic kind.

correct me if I'm wrong
she was traveling with the academy? and then after they lost her robot they said fuck it, turned tail, and just jettisoned her pod out?
that's fucked

>Mind reload data-sync not located
[panic intensifies]

So if she died in space while out of range of the pod she'd be gone forever? And would the main body die too or just become vegetable?

>transfer to I-machine
>your body wakes up while you are still copied to the I-machine

alternatively

>transfer to I-machine
>realize you are a copy
>realize transferring back means you are being deleted

It's a super dumb liability to do a full transfer of consciousness.

It seems the professor started to dislike her for making a big deal about the Delta 9 thing, given he had sold the information on it

>space clouds
IIRC, there clouds of dust and gas in space. They just don't look quite like clouds you'd see in Earth's atmosphere. Google "Large Magellanic Cloud" for an example.

tl;dr: it's not unreasonable to find clouds in space, they're just not likely to be made of water like Earth clouds

I know about the large magellanic cloud, I don't, however, think they tend to look like a color shifted version of the night sky.
My understanding of entities like the large magellanic cloud is that they're similar to nebula.
In fact, after googling the large magellanic cloud to see how it's classified, it's a satellite galaxy, although the definition of galaxy is rather nebulous to say the least.

These are basically my thoughts. I enjoy watching currently airing shows since it's just one episode a week no matter the quality. Plus for me it's fun seeing everyone's reactions on a per episode basis and if it's one of those shows, theory crafting.

Fuck, has it really been that long since I studied that in school? Well shit. Guess I need to brush up on this as well. My bad, user.

Artistic license to make space more colorful and less dry in visual motifs

It is possible to have clouds in the form of debris from 'recently' broken up larger bodies, think of the composition of planetary rings but without moons to hold them in place.

>nebulous

I had a giggle about writing that when I wrote it, but it seemed like the correct word to use.

I'm just finding out we got subs and 6 minutes in the cg been very nice animation wise for the I machines, seems smoother than bubuki. Pretty good. Thanks for the subs.

This really was surprisingly unsettling.
For a moment I thought that her body had somehow woken up on the original Academy ship, while being out of sync with her I-Machine.
With her I-machine copy still being out there. That would have been pretty messed up.

...

I feel sorry about Maya. I hope things will improve for her very soon.
Because so far it almost feels like the world itself is bullying her.

I am glad that they depicted the maneuvering thrusters.

Hot.

It is, but the crew weren't that bad to her. Just denied her request to get to the station/academy ship.

Those screams were the real deal. It was pretty gut wrenching to listen to.

Which she no longer fully needs to do, because her main motivation for that was to retrieve her body.
Sure, she wants to go back to her life too, but her body is no longer in jeopardy so, the rush has ended.

Hair even looking like 2d-ier too. Based sanzigen.

Speaking of debris.

Is this furry?

Not thus far.

>space robot motorcycle
I teared up, good shit.

Do you think it's a big power trip to become a gigantic pink metal tiger cat for a 4~ something year old girl?
I am assuming it's hers. At the very least she seems to be a fan of it.

She has a different voice actress but there's a chance you might be right.

>Jump into i-machine
>Old men violate your body while you're away
>And by the time you come back everyone plays things off as normal
>And you would never know

...

I imagine they made some doujins like that for SAO with their whole VR thing.
