ok

I approve of your tastes.

...

Something's wrong with your Asuka pic, not sure what though. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Wrong, best character is Kazuma, not EXUPLOHISONZ XD. You need to get seriously laid if your criteria for a best character is how much you want to masturbate to the drawing of it.

...

Best character is probably Gendo or Asuka, not generic japanese doll.

>inb4 BUT THEY DID IT FIRST, THEY STARTED THE TROPE

Wrong.

Okay.

Glad you heard the voice of reason.

Hayato Furunji never fails to make me smile with his insanity

...

That pedo? Really?

Her sister is cuter.

Why is GIlgamesh beating up a bunch of 80s gangsters?

He's also the best from ANY series

He's based. Fuck off.

>gaelio
>Not the madman lolicon chuuni.
I would have even accepted Idiok-sama.

All this time, I really thought his hair was yellow, until I saw a screencap from the anime.

>I would have even accepted Idiok-sama.
I was actually going to post him first but I opted for the less memey answer. Still a hero though.

S2 never.

>not penpen

He does become strong, but only up to human limits. Strong enough to spar with claymore newbies at the very least.

That's a pretty good accomplishment for someone that wasn't a fucking claymore.

Was it any good? I only saw strange balls with cannons, so I never started watching it.

...

...

Alright, I'll give it a watch.

Best boy won

Not a single correct post so far.

God I was so fucking satisfied when he got fucking crushed to death.

Who is the best Hokuto no Ken character then? I'll warn you now, you are wrong no matter what you say since you think it's not Raoh.

...

...

Easily best girl in the series.

Best pair in the series

But that's not Mayumi

...

Any of the other really old people would also be an acceptable answer.

hey he has a leak on his roof

>retcon the character

Souther was more tragic and more understandable than Raoh. First he was genuinely evil, then he was evil because that's how you had to rule, then he wasn't actually ever evil.

Plus that asspull Muso Tensei because somehow not getting your love requited is equivalent to seeing all your fucking friends and family from your childhood to now murdered.

...

The absolute old man.

>ITT: Best characters in their respective series

mah nigga

What kind of leak?

...

>retcon the character
What in the fuck are you talking about?

>Souther was more tragic and more understandable than Raoh. First he was genuinely evil, then he was evil because that's how you had to rule, then he wasn't actually ever evil.
What in the FUCK are you talking about? He neither characters are "genuinely evil". Souther did everything because he was twisted from killing his own father, he sought to stand atop the world with his martial art because he wanted to believe what he did was worth the death of his father but ultimately nothing filled the hole left by the man who raised him. Raoh was never evil, it just comes off that he's wicked because we don't KNOW anything about him. Are you seriously criticizing that as we learn more about Raoh he's never been evil and had a rather good reason for pretty much everything he did? Are you seriously condemning him from developing into a character rather than becoming a cartoon flat villain?

>Plus that asspull Muso Tensei because somehow not getting your love requited is equivalent to seeing all your fucking friends and family from your childhood to now murdered.
It wasn't an asspull did you not watch the final arc or something? That's not what is required for Musou Tensei, all that's required is extreme sorrow and to accept nothingness. The more you learn about Raoh you realize how tragic he was, he's a man who has struggled extreme suffering throughout his life despite how hard he pushed himself. But no matter how far he pushed himself or how earnestly he worked towards his goal he couldn't even force one woman, the woman he loved, to return his feelings.

(Cont)
Raoh genuinely believed he was the strongest and that it made him invincible, but unfortunately his belief in himself limited his belief in hokuto shinken. Raoh couldn't become nothing and obtain musou tensei because his ambitions meant too much to him. When he faced not only his mortality but also that Yuria never loved him but also never hate him he shed his ambition and sacrificed himself to give her a little more time, he became nothing. This is why Raoh orders Kenshiro to not waste Raoh's death, he tells him to make Yuria happy and to prove Ken is the strongest (settle the world).

Did you finish the show?

We need a Furuchin spinoff.
Also, here's my wife.

Literally all the hokuto brothers suffered about the same, except Raoh was the dickhead making it worse by literally murdering everyone in the wasteland because muh king of fists. They went from when he was introduced of being a pure evil, to he was only evil because that's what was needed for the wasteland, to actually he was a great guy even to his subordinates by the end of the manga! They literally retconned Raoh's character the entire time. Also that accepting of nothing was an asspull. Somehow Raoh suffered as much as Ken when he had to watch literally every last one of his friends beyond two toddlers get murdered.

Souther was better thought out even though he was mentioned for like 20 chapters. Raoh was just fanboyism to the extreme

Gee it's almost like we didn't know everything about Raoh when we first saw him and largely only heard about him from word of mouth from people who never met him! Kenshiro and Toki NEVER refer to him as evil, they refer to him as powerful and respect him but think his way is wrong. As time goes on we are shown that what Raoh does is cold but has a lot of logic to it because we learn who he is.

>They literally retconned Raoh's character the entire time.
You literally don't know what retcon means you blithering idiot. That wasn't retconning because it didn't make things suddenly change the past, it was just character development and backstory. The only retcons in Hokuto no Ken were the South Star Generals and the stupidity that was Asura. Everything you are describing doesn't conflict with past events, we just learn who Raoh is.

How is that a fucking asspull when Musou Tensei literally translates to Nil-Thought Rebirth? It's always been about becoming nothing and allowing Hokuto shinken guide your movements so you become a perfect fighter. Sadness doesn't fucking have numeric value, you can't tell someone they can't be as sad as someone what just because the first person only had one sibling due while the other had two due. Raoh has suffered guys entire life, he stained his hands in so much blood to prove he was the strongest so he could achieve his goals but losing to Kenshiro, feeling fear for the first time in his adult life, and realizing the woman he loved would never love him made him realize he can't force things to happen and it cracked his world view. Ken saw friends die, but Raoh also suffered and saw people die and in the end the one thing he had his was his sense of self and resolve which in that moment was shattered by Yuria. He discarded his ambitons and became nothing, the requirement of Musou Tensei.

You're such a fanboy you can't even see why, he starts off as a completely evil guy that everyone else acknowledges as much EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE FUCKING KNOWS HIS PAST. Then they say he's only a dick for a reason, then by the end of the fucking story they're riding his dick like he was actually the fucking hero including Ken. They retconned his fucking story the entire time which is strange because every other character's backstory was told within a chapter, but muh deep and complex character needs over 150 chapters to develop as such

...

...

...

It would be a retcon if Raoh started acting differently but he's always the fucking same person when it comes to fighting and conquering. He's brutal, he fights no holds barred, he thinks the weak should die, he thinks those that oppose him should be struck down or prove their worth. This has been Raoh's fucking personality since his first appearance, he fucking tells people "if you think what I'm doing is wrong then prove you are right and stop me."

People see Raoh isn't just some evil demon who does what he does for shits and giggles, he does what he does for a reason. He ALWAYS kills dishonorable people who hide behind his name or people who question his authority or those who try to betray him, he kills several of his own thugs later in the series because of this. Yeah no shit the people at the start call him evil, they are all afraid of him and they got conquered. Kenshiro strictly says Raoh's ways are wrong and go against the teachings of Hokuto Shinken, largely because they are supposed to be observers and only use their fist when needed like stopping wild marital artists.

This isn't a retcon it is called fucking character development. We learn WHAT guys motuvations are. Even when he first showed up and sentences Rei to death he acknowledges Rei as a man for willing to sacrifice his life in an attempt to kill Raoh. Raoh's actions have been consistent, there has never been a retcon. People opposing him still view him as evil because they don't agree with him the entire fucking show, but those who look at things objectively begrudgingly like Ryuga acknowledge that Raoh is not wrong in what he's trying to accomplish.
