She's a snail.

Snails are very interesting creatures in that their entire body is basically one extremely strong and well coordinated muscle. They are lithe and very powerful for their size. They also have incredibly large mouths which can engulf even the largest prey. Since they have no venom or fangs, they instead engulf and constrict their prey until it is dead. Also, because their bodies are basically pure muscle, the require large amounts of protein to stay healthy and happy. If a snail finds a source of protein, it will latch onto it with it's powerful mouth and hold fast, until all the protein is devoured. It also excretes a very slick mucus which aids in digestion, and will certainly cover the source of protein in the mucus as it holds on for dear life in an attempt to extract all the protein it can.

it's always surprising to me how grown up she looks in that scene. It makes it that much more sad, as it sort of illustrates her character's growth since meeting araragi. At first she was an eternal kid, always running from people who tried to help her for the fear they would get lost like her. By the end, she would hunt down araragi to talk with him.

It's unsurprising that in Timeline X she managed to survive for so long when others didn't. She's very smart and capable, it was just a single wrong move that ended her life. If she could've survived she would've gotten so far in life. Never take life for granted guys, it can all be over in a split second.

Snake is cool. I really never got the hate for her. Basically everyone in the show was telling her she's garbage, and gets everything she wants just because she's cute despite that not happening once. Then they all act surprised when she loses her shit and tries to murder everyone. I'm probably the only one who found it satisfying when she slapped the shit out of Shinobu.

I don't hate snake for who she is, I hate her because her story arc was boring as fuck and takes screen time away from more interesting characters

I don't hate her for the reasons other in-universe characters give, I hate her because she's a terribly boring passive character to watch

I mean, as a person I find her situation somewhat relatable and I think the other characters are unfairly critical of her.

But it's not interesting to watch. Her delinquent outburst and some Snek Goddess moments were entertaining but for the most part she does nothing proactive, says nothing of note, and has no interactions with anyone that aren't shallow.

Understanding her motives and even appreciating them as possibly being interesting doesn't change the fact that the actual execution and presentation of snake was boring to me, and that's unforgivable.

She's most wifeable as a loli. Time travel arc was a mistake.

I understand calling her first arc boring, but it's only two episodes and it has excellent fan service and set up for later arcs. But Nadeko Medusa and Hitagi End are the high points of the franchise.

Also her shallowness is the deepest part of the series.

She's perfect in every way

Nadeko Medusa has good bits when she's finally snapping but is unremarkable otherwise. Hitagi End is good, but it sticks out more because of the production value than the content and all of the best content in it is driven by Kaiki and Senjougahara while Nadeko is a plot device until her underwhelming confrontation with Kaiki.

I don't know how to argue/convince you user, every episode in both arcs has several things I'd consider highly remarkable.
