The Mexican Dub of DBZ is acceptable.

It has the best of both worlds, a man voicing adult Goku and the japanese soundtrack.

So far everybody's said the classics, most of which I agree with. For a more recent example, I really enjoyed Kekkai Sensen's dub for the most part.

DBZ does not have an acceptable dub unless you're watching Kai. Yu Yu Hakusho dubbed is super good though.

What's the point of mentioning a decent dub for a show that's complete garbage? Makes no sense. Imaishi is a hack.

Literally everything by funimation is better than the original japanese right now. Japanese voice actors don't have the diverse pitches and accents that English speaking voice actors have which is why all Japanese dubs sound similar regardless of whatever anime you're watching.

And on the contrary, male dub VAs more often fare decent performances because it really isn't hard to intimidate that "bishounen" sound, whereas it's near impossible for American female VAs to intimidate that "moe" sound without sounding too tryhard or lazy.

Kai dub is shit because of the new kid Gohan voice and the new Bulma. They sound like shit.

Spirited Away is really good. The girl who did the voice did Lilo a year later too so I guess that was her prime.

The only problem is the actual lip sync is hard to watch.

This so much. Kintaro's VA hams up everything about the series. I've never laughed harder from any other dub.
