This bitch can't do math

This bitch can't do math.

Math is for fucking nerds.

What's wrong?

Are they really learning antiderivatives in high school in Japan?

Why not? Antiderivatives in general are nowhere near as challenging as people think.

We learn that in New Jersey normie

I thought she misfactored (x+3)(x-4) but it actually says (x+3)(x-2)....

it's literally a power rule anti derivative, you learn that in junior year in America

I also ain't do math

Looks difficult.

Is there anime about cute girls doing cute integrals?

Learned that when I was 16 (early 11th grade) in the US.

Lewd

Bullshit you do I've never even heard of that

Taking a closer look, thats fucking Calculus. How the fuck does Satania?

the answer is right you fucking retard OP

it's just a simple integral. The kind of stuff you learn to do in like one hour and master in another

Raphi would look really good in porn.

There's nothing wrong with it.

She's like a smaller Takane

They're not really learning about antiderivatives though, they're just applying the basic formulae.

Yes, but she can do my dick.

...

some people actually paid attention in class and got put into higher math classes

I barely remember anything from math

I'm embarrassed with my ability to do math.

nobody does. any maths aside for things that are financially important to know is a lie math teachers spread.

it's a definite integral, and a power rule one, that's not particularly hard.
Just take the exponent on each term and raise it by one, and then divide by the new exponent. If the exponent when raised would be 0, the term becomes natural log instead.

We can't all be good at maf

Maths are useful if you work in anything that isn't just arts or languages stuff.

MATH

M-A-T-H

"Mathmetics" isn't plural, so quit adding the fucking -s you tea chugging, queen worshipping, limey git.

ITT highschoolers/college freshmen try to flaunt their calc 1/2 knowledge on an anonymous imageboard,
What's funny is that if you're actually any "good" at math you wouldn't need to try so hard to make sure everyone knows you can integrate a polynomial.

>engineering school
i came here to exploit domain transforms, taylor series expansion, linear algebra, and abuse central limit theorems, not learn some faggot math, also to drink away the crippling depression

yeah it's pretty entry-level
anyway you don't git gud at math unless you really dedicate yourself to learning all this obscure shit
shit takes a long time

>higher math classes
>everyone
stemkids strike again!

jokes on you, I'm not STEM at all, I dropped out of college to wallow in my self loathing!

;_;

I kinda miss those, didn't touch them for 3 or 4 years
but "hard" mathematics don't really put food on the plate I think

I want to lick every part of her body.

Are you retarded?

I want to integrate every curve on her body.

Math is a joke, started to not care at all about it when they introduced 'imaginary numbers', seriously who came up with that?

But Yuzuko can

You're posting an a Laotian fingerpainting board and you hate imagination? Please leave right now.

>league
Kill yourself

how the fuck is this even math? it's mostly letters and letters that aren't even english.

some guy had too much time to spare and thought about that stuff
but then hundreds of years later it's proven very useful to model physical things and everything about your post, from the computer you used to encoding of the attached picture relies on complex numbers

>he thinks math is just numbers
Oh you sweet summer child.
I'm nowhere near TQFT-kun's level and I can already tell you that, if nothing else, you'll be a master of Greek letters by the time you finish any undergraduate math degree.

...

That thumbnail looks like a gaping vagina and a butthole.

There are many branches of mathematics :
Linear algebra, Number theory {yaaaawn}, Geometry, Calculus, Probability, Combinatorics, etc. Each has its own environment.

it's sets, elements and spaces if I'm not wrong

but you barely find numbers in math after highschool

...

>there are people on Sup Forums
>RIGHT NOW
>who literally don't even know how to take derivatives, much less antiderivative
>and even fewer have any idea about partial derivatives, gradients, topology

Jesus, what it must be like to be a brainlet.... The world must seem so strange....

Irrelevant, the word itself is not a plural. "Physics" isn't a plural either.

...

This.

and it's absotutoloutley fucking useless

only if you suck at it

>just have to go up to cal 3 and differential equations for my shit
thank god

That's not hard though. Almost everything in your post is derivating or integrating stuff.

>lol i can do harder stuff than you
suck my dick

Brainlets

I only said that what you're listing isn't hard. You're the one who made it sound pretentious and hardcore in the first place.

tell me when I'm gonna use linear algebra or take partial derivatives at my job please
I'm in EE

Electronical Engineering? You should be using partial derivatives in equations and shit. Probably not linear algebra though.

Is this a joke? If you're EE you absolutely have to get good at calculus stuff.

It's easier on yourself if you think of them as complex numbers instead; as we call them in engineering. Think of it like instead of numbers being represented in a straight line they have x and y components like on a graph.

in school yeah
but I'm not gonna use it at my JOB

Well it depends entirely on what your job is, buddy. You can get a lot of different jobs with an EE degree, for all I know you decided to let everyone down and become an IT monkey.

You probably will. Unless you become that guy who does the talking and gets paid more than everyone else

Finite element method is literally just linear algebra, and if you knew any math PDEs are literally just infinite dimensional linear algebra.
Good job landing a job when you don't know any numerical methods lmao
>this is what undergrads believe

Well what's your job? If you want the big bucks for the incredibly tedious, you can get a job doing black magic.

Well we're doing taylor series now and the stuffs pretty easy, easier in fact than trig subs and integration by parts
Gonna go for working with the DWP, any kind of power engineering

>Finite element method
Didn't know about that stuff. Pretty informative post user.

yeah Taylor is easy mode from what I remember
I really should get back to it someday though

Power engineering is like...optimization and stuff right? Trying to get the different lines in phase or whatever? I don't know, I always found it to be a dull subject. Sounds calculusy to me though.

Symmetrical docking where?

the problem is the internship itself, I don't know anyone in there and my gpa is sub 3.0 so all my efforts may have been in vain

>Gonna go for working with the DWP, any kind of power engineering
So a focus on analog then. The math shouldn't be too complicated, but taylor series is ezpz stuff. It's mostly a focus on circuit analysis and power theory iirc. Lots of relatively simple complex number calculations. Have you taken black magic yet? That's going to be one of those "aim for the C" classes. I can't give the best advice though. I focused on the digital side: VLSI, VHDL/Verilog, Comp. Architecture, etc.

>black magic
what the fuck

also digital is love and life

What % of this thread has to do with Gab dropout?

Why don't you calculate that nerds

The difficult stuff isn't with the application of things like Taylor series, the difficult stuff is showing and knowing why it works.
I have a few engineer friends and I always loved hearing about them complaining about how their linear estimates don't work or their FFT algorithms don't converge just because they applied those concepts to functions that they dont apply to.

the only math we gotta do is calc 1-3 and differential equations

Raph is fucking cute.

σ%
We're beyond numbers here kid. Sorry you can't keep up.

>FFT algorithms don't converge
what
how do you fuck up FFTs? just get Matlab to do it or something

You know how physicists have reference equations, and engineers love tables? Welcome to your "table" for Electromagnetic and Transmission Line Theory.

Electrical Engineers are literally wizards.

And here the engineers are coming out of the woodwotks

Oh, yeah. I used that. Pretty weird shit. Barely passed that class too. Now THAT was some black magic.
I noticed that when you suck, you never question how stuff like that was found. When you suck less, you question it and you're totally lost. And when you suck a little bit less you're able to imagine someone discovering that even though you know it's out of your league.
Something like that.

Being a mathematician, in my experience engineers are literally the dumbest and mathematically incapable people in the world.
Also, they're literally autistic - not just in the form of being socially incompetent but in the form of being incredibly dense and unaware of their social incompetence.
It doesn't surprise me at all that these subhumans start blogging as soon as something remotely related to their field is posted.

Take it to .

You're hurting my feelings

it's okay user, at least we try hard
let our safe space alone though

>FFT is capable of not...converging
learn something new every time I'm on Sup Forums

Look up Gibbs phonograph, my little engineer

I've found that out of all the anime fans I've socialized with, a majority of the socially acceptable ones happen to be STEM.

> photograph
Phenomenon*

>gibbs' phenomenon has something to do with FFT 'not converging'
keep digging

> literally retarded
Typical engineer

more gisting, please
