the one chick talks a lot I was pretty bored early on when she was giving exposition but the fight was neat love the animation and sound design the BANG from attacks had real weight imo.

Nice name, OP

I want to sacrifice my virginity to her!

What if you created a world with a character who had the power to create worlds with characters who had the power to create worlds with

The infodumping was really fucking terrible. 0/10 first half.

MC-kun is incredibly unremarkable. Not sure why he's even in the series.

4/10 overall

What does the "Re" in Re:Creators and other Isekai anime stand for?

I have obliged your request

So we're in agreement this is AOTS?

>No subject

Great job OP

No.

Okay okay, this is going to sound crazy, but here me out guys. What if, what fucking if, I have sex with an anime character, and she gets pregnant? Would it be half-2D half-3D? Would we wind up with a society of miscegenated 2.5D bug-eyed moe happas? What if I'm the creator too? Is my child now an inseparable part of my creation? What if it goes back? Do I have to write my child into my own story? What if I, the creator, go back into my own world with my family?

being mameca is suffrage

I was skeptical, but they really are sidelining Mr.Normal and having all the isekai characters duke it out. It's surprisingly fun.

Plus Meteora has a nice infodumping voice.

"about/concerning"

>The infodumping was really fucking terrible. 0/10 first half.
Why, they talked about what they could do in this world. If it wasn't for that they'd probably end up attending school and getting jobs in the end.

>goofy looking asuka

?

Thanks

oops meant to put that in title

Yes. Even if it turns out to be shit, the threads and the shitstorm will make it AOTS.

...

Apparently there are people who didnt realize MC was creator of Antagonist world. Can you people not pick up on blatant hints.

When's the episode where they start working at wcdonalds?

A lot of it was meaningless padding.

It's YcDonald's.

Does anybody else find it disconcerting how quickly the girls adapted to the real world despite it being so different to their own worlds?

...

>break your stereo tapes
What did she mean by this?

My guess is that it's the girl who jumped in front of the train who created her.

It was a faithful recreation of McDonalds if nothing else.

inb4 Mamika does a Madoka and travels to all possible worlds to help save them.

>Not sure why he's even in the series
He is shit, but this doesn't make any sense. He is clearly an important plot piece. The sudoku girl in the OP/start of episode 1 is obviously related to him, and the fact that chuuni knows him is also absolutely relevant.

Not really; they seem like very intelligent and level-headed people. And I think that's the point, that they're real people with self-awareness rather than just one dimensional characters-- despite the fact that they're fictional characters.

I hope MC-kun goes full Rock.

This guy managed.

I expect it from red yuushas

I hope we'll see characters from other kinds of shows make a cameo at some point. There are many fun things that can be done with this setting.

They already come from worlds of magic so its not as crazy as when someone from the real world goes off to fantasy land.

Knowing how to cycle a bike is a bit much though.

Red got lucky and met up with Hybrid Theory early.

Red probably did the proper freakout when Meteora briefed her about the world from her book. If Red never met her, she'll probably still be a bit disoriented, granted, probably not as bad as Madoka.

She has a magic book that tells her all about our world. Even tells her about politics and shit.

I'm disappointed there's no culture shock. It's just "Meteora's magical book told them everything offscreen, here's a montage with exposition."

I wanted more fish out of water situations but I'm assuming the girls the MC met just happened to be very adaptable due to the genres they came from and their roles. Lancer seems more like the type to have a culture shock.

To think that such a thin little black bar can make something appear so much, much more erotic.

You can't learn how to cycle a bike from a book.

>I wanted more fish out of water situations
Me too. I love that shit.

What if the real Rei Hiroe is actually dead. Killed by Revy when she jumped into our world, and his replacement is Rock. That's why Black Lagoon hasn't been updated. Rock doesn't have the talent to pull it off, but he's Japanese, so he can pretend to be Hiroe so that nobody finds out.

Still waiting for prices

The smile also helps

Remove Red.

Is this show a deconstruction?

If youre smart enough its piss easy to blend in. Do you think that you would have a lot of trouble blending into a world if you were an isekai character? Unless there are some completely illogical customs you'd do fine as well. Especially in our world were cosplaying etc is normal so you dont even stand out for wearing armor and a sword.

*Digibros internally*

No. What would it be a deconstruction of?

Red is pure.

Maybe she just thinks she can ride a bike from reading about it.

It's a parody
Deconstruction and parody are not the same thing

Anime itself

Like whoa

Wow. Even the Japanese are getting pissed off at people comparing this anime to Fate too much.

I would like to think she's that naive.

He likely will towards the end, not anytime soon.

I think that's what the majority are thinking.

Some Chuuni facts. She can enter other worlds, but she's not the one pulling people into our world. Red was pulled in by the MC, Magik Missle said Chuuni met her when she first appeared in this world.

She was fighting Red in the anime the MC was watching on his ipad before being pulled into Red's world. That means either she's manipulating the stories herself, or it was a performance just for the MC.

She recognized the MC when she first saw him, but was still surprised to see him. That implies she wasn't the one to pull the MC over, but she is connected to him.

MC doesn't recognize her. He recognizes every other character being brought over, except the one who knows him.

It really looks like Chuuni is MC's sister creation, and MC's sister is still alive and manipulating things in order to get all these characters involved with the MC.

The main hook of the premise is pretty much a holy grail war with parody characters. Can't really blame people for seeing the resemblance

At least Emi is all lovey dovey now though.

how can this be a parody? it's not trying to mock the anime industry in a humorous way

>It really looks like Chuuni is MC's sister creation, and MC's sister is still alive and manipulating things in order to get all these characters involved with the MC.
Someone wants to save the MC

I thought the premise was the reverse isekai.

>it's not trying to mock the anime industry in a humorous way
It very much is, though

Now that I think about it, if the MC-kun's world is an anime and he's unaware of that, is it possible that we're also living in an anime? Could we be the moe-moe idealized 3D versions of 4D humans who lust after us and create their own dojins of us fucking, kind of like how we do the same thing to our creations.

Yeah exactly. the point here is to show that they're not just dumb characters, that just like a real person can imagine and understand all of their worlds from the stories, they could understand another world too.

>Red
>intelligent and level-headed
No that's just the power of offscreen magic book

There is not much culture shock because those stories are actually built to be easily accessible for the japanese and by people without much imagination, so their culture is actually quite similar and their language is exact the same as modern japanese.

But its nothing like a holy grail war. So far the fictional people are showing up on their own and the real people haven't a fucking clue whats going on.

I'm betting this show will get that meta, based on the second half

That Travis guy looks like a bad person.

Technically no. Reverse isekai would be something like Hataraku Maou-sama, where the MC comes from a fantasy world to the real world. In this case, the MC's not going anywhere, but fantasy characters are coming to him.

things you want to do to those legs

>somewhere there is a race that a whole is way uglier than ours
Yikes. I hope they are mind flayers or some shit

The mom really looked like he didn't give a fuck about anything.. Are we sure she's the sister?

Onee-san knows best for aniki

>onee-chan writes an inter-dimensional harem story with her brother as MC

Silesia could drive a car before that, and responded to MC showing her the book with "i get it"

If we're supposed to be an idealized world to them, the next level up must be a real shithole.

I still think it would have been fun if one of the characters was from a Western series.

Who would have been a good match?

I actually think there is less of a culture shock than what you might imagine.
All while Selesia might wield a sword and her world might have prominent castles in use and stuff. It's still a world robotics, computer-like gear, and other various technologies and infra structure. It's not some backwards medieval place. It looks more like a past meets future setting, which would probably make our present, land somewhere around the average of her world in terms of culture or advancements.
And Meteora is literally a sage librarian shut-in that has spent her entire life reading about worlds, her own and others. What she knows of her own world is likely through her books as well. So learning about our world through books is likely no different.
That rival/last boss guy also looks like he is straight out of not-Persona or something. Which is basically a slightly crazier version of our world. So while he may be stupid, I doubt it's much of a culture shock.

Mamika was breaking down though. She couldn't handle it.

licky licky.

hottest girl of the season right here.

In Red and Meteoras case, not really, and they did have a large chunk of the episode dedicated to a magical girl freaking out when she realized the world wasn't just like her anime.

Or maybe we're just living in an edgy berserk type world where everything goes wrong

>oh shit characters are coming to fight each other
>it's muh grail war aside from the fact that many other shows include characters coming to fight each other
I understand why even the Japanese hate the Fatefags that keep on talking about it in this show.

Obligatory Deadpool mention

This makes me sad. Seeing a powerful demon lord selling burgs.

>bunch of powerful fictional characters being summoned into the real world to fight, with sol hijinks
I wonder why.

They are magic. Some magic bullshit going down isnt going to be as big a surprise to them as it is to us. The blue haired one even said that they can create new worlds in her own world.

>Sister writes a harem story with her brother as the MC
>half the harem members are guys

That's probably what most sisters would do too.

> Usually

Is there no gif/webm of that pan yet? The stitch has an unfortunate flaw.

>Does anybody else find it disconcerting how quickly the girls adapted to the real world despite it being so different to their own worlds?
That's called shitty writing.

She'd have a meltdown at R-18 Pixiv huh.
