Depends on your perspective. He isn't as evil as the textbooks say he is, but he did do some terrible shit. Also Jews were not scapegoats. They leaders of 1918 were mostly Jewish. The Jews are not innocent victims. The treatment of occupied territories was terrible. However he did manage to improve the lives of Germans before the war. Ultimately was neither a hero nor a villain.

The real villain was Churchill. Hilters demands were very reasonable. Not going to win any friends by saying it but having looked at the facts I believe it to be the truth. What happened afterwards was nasty and regrettable but in my mind it is a conflict that did not need to happen. Churchill would have been better off creating Israel earlier and letting jew migrants into Britain rather than what happened. Lets not forget the soviets invaded half of Poland and ended up with it all but that invasion was somehow ok according to Churchill in 1939. At least the Germans had a legit claim on Danzig.

Thats not correct. Churchill was not a fan of Stalin at all and warned everyone about him and the Russians. He tolerated an alliance with them because he realized that the greatest threat was Hitler and Germany was already at war with Russia. It made sense. There is a quote where he said he would consider an alliance with the devil if it meant he would join the war against Hitler. He was referring to Stalin in that quote.
Churchill was a hero who galvanized and saved his country when other political leaders around him were ready to throw in the towel. His refusal to give up was instrumental in defeating the Nazis.
