Whatever else Netanyahu is he is a hero of the Israeli people and saw his own brother die fighting terrorists. I wouldn't trust him for a second but he is a great leader for Israel and appears to be on our side... maybe. Though I don't trust him because I'm not sure why he is doing it. I'm not German at all but the jews don't strike me as the forgive and forget kind of people. What was done to them is unforgivable and while I will always protect innocent Germans who had nothing to do with it I can't blame anyone for having anger and vengeance. If he is genuine I can only think he has overcome the past and believes Europe and Israel have a shared fate. That could be true but for a jew to trust Europeans... that is a huge leap of faith. I don't know if we can be trusted.
