We all understand at birth that it is not ok to use violent force on people, but then force is used on us every day until we get used to it. The schools, colleges, tv shows, movies, and news promote socialism as a trick to get us to vote for our own exploitation by billionaire lobbying corporations. Fox news, conservative radio, and the republican party are allowed to exist because the elite can not completely trick all people into socialism. They need this 2nd barrier to catch most of the people who cant be brainwashed into socialism. With this barrier they at least brainwash most of the rest into accepting the state's giant dick. The reason why it is mostly large white men who are libertarians is because we tend have a good combination of courage and intelligence, and it takes a certain amount of both to realize the truth.

Libertarianism is inherently defeat because ultimately it seeks only to preserve the self over evreything else. This is why American society was easily conquered because everyone was so busy looking out for themselves and trying to make money for themselves. The same companies you cry a bout in the "billionaire lobby" are only in power due to Libertarianism. Ultimately, Libertarianism robs the people of their ability to cohesively unite and form resistance to foreign invasion and thus it's doomed to fail every single time.
You will never see Libertarian revolutions because they will instantly fracture and fall apart because there is no cohesive "glue" which holds them together. Liberty is only assured through cohesion.
