Are there any other anime movies as good as Your Name?

Are there any other anime movies as good as Your Name?

I still don't get it. This was mediocrity at best. Don't know why people keep praising it and shit like that. Saying it's meaningful, spiritual, etc. It was not that great nor that bad though.

I'm probably like many out there. never watched anime before, saw this, blown away, went looking for more anime like it.

and seriously, almost every anime I watched after was actually better.

(I started with Hosoda/Shinkai/When Marnie was There)

yes there are.

I think Transformers is pretty good.

it's decent with strong feels

Ano Hana if you want some feels

Fuck off to christ

Unironically Colorful.

Your name was overrated shit full of plot holes. Not really bad but still, plot holes

Just bout another animation.
"Your name" was very mediocre and predictable.
Very average and over hyped trash

>discussion about anime films related to an anime film in an anime board
>DURR GO TO A DIFFUWENT BOAD

Koe no Katachi is better. Thank you based KyoAni.

>Thread starts out with an OP with simple discussion not trying to bait retards into shitposting
>Thread is peaceful and people discuss how they enjoy the movie

>Thread starts out with an OP with clearly obvious bait "BEST ANIME EVER!!" shitpost to stir up the contrarians on this shithole
>Thread turns into pile of shit, infested with howling hyenas of faggots trying to out-troll each other

You retards are too easy to bait.

Watched it yesterday I think it was alright. It had some cute moments and was very well made art wise, but it had a very standard time-fuckery plot and ended 10 minutes to late. I would've preferred this

>an older Taki is walking through Tokyo in business clothes
>reminiscing about his vague memories and always searching for something
>reveals that the meteor did hit, but most people survived
>in the end he meets the waitress, they embrace and a wedding ring is revealed on her hand
>whether the shrinemaid girl lived or died is left up to the imagination
>the point being that love is unviersal and you can still find love even if you don't end up with the girl you thought was your destined "one"

For other movies with the same feel, Letter to Momo was similiar but even better looking and with a tighter plot.

>discussion
OP is legitimately asking for recs under the mask of a bait thread.

Kill yourself

Yeah and it literally came out the same year.

OP didn't ask for films better than Your Name though.

underrated movie
I've never seen a thread about it

>Thread is peaceful and people discuss how they enjoy the movie

Just checked it out and it was 90% waifu discussions as always.

This was pretty interesting when I first watched it

Had more plot in 3 minutes than most 2 cour series

K-on! movie.

I literally felt nothing watching this. That part felt so forced and retarded to me. People around me were tearing up or sobbing in the theater.

Yes
