I don't think they care. The first season wasn't even supposed to get a BD edition and only got one because the fans asked for it. Each disc was like 80$ with exclusive extras and there was no DVD edition. They probably only release those discs as a souvenir for the hardcore fans but don't but too much concern into the disc sales.

It's still going to sell like shit though. Elevens are crazy about Eromanga-sensei, Attack on Titan season 2, and Granblue Fantasy unfortunately. Even here in the West Bahamut isn't very popular.

It just sucks ass because it's been a long time since we've gotten a well-made anime original like this that doesn't revolve around isekai/harem/boring self-inserts. Nip otaku literally cannot anything with substance.
