If he is requesting Trump interviews, it is very likely that a large portion of his investigation is done. He'll be interviewing Trump to get corroborating evidence. Which is why his lawyers are hesitant to let him be interviewed, and would prefer written statements that they can't triple check. If Mueller has info that Trump is caught lying about, either intentionally or accidentally, Trump is fucked, and obstruction charges are guaranteed.

I'm immensely curious as to the reaction once we get the full picture from Mueller. My bets are that if he has legitimately serious and undeniable dirt (direct collusion, pee tape), establishment Republicans and media will abandon him immediately. There will still be contrarian Sup Forumslacks making up Illuminati conspiracies, but otherwise removing Trump should be relatively easy.
What I'm worried about is if Mueller has less direct evidence (obstruction but no actual collusion), or has found something unrelated (financial crimes from decades ago). In that case, I think that there will be a much stronger argument from Sup Forums and Republicans that the probe was a witch-hunt, and there very may well be a higher chance of revolts/civil war.
Third option is that Trump hasn't done anything wrong and is just an idiot, while additional people around him (Don Jr, Kushner, others) face charges from back room dealings. This would be uncomfortable, but die-hard Trump supporters would make up some excuse, and it would be business as usual.
Dems gaining control in 2018 and impeaching or a verified dementia diagnosis are also possible scenarios that could impede Trump making it to 2020. At the very least, we will find out by the end of 2018 if Trump will make it to 2020 or not.

Mueller's team has said that the investigation is going for 2018. There is information that we don't know, including testimony from Flynn. They are requesting a Trump interview, most likely to corroborate information they have.
Typically in large mob-like investigations like this, the easy process-style crimes will be picked up on first, and there will be pleas to narc on higher-ups. The information in this case could be more process crimes, or treason/collusion. No way of knowing. But the fact that there were pleas says that there definitely is more.
Option one would be Kushner. This would probably be due to all of the mistakes on his security forms and things he hasn't disclosed.

I've read it, and I've already stated multiple times that I'm not giving an opinion whether or not the process crimes are legitimate or not in how damaging they are. At least in the case of Flynn and Papadopolous, they happened, and have been pled guilty to. So they are guilty. Could they have fought it like Manafort? Potentially. I'm not saying he's guilty, because innocence is presumed. All I've said against him is that charges have been laid, it's not my position to argue whether those charges are legitimate. If Flynn and PapaD pled not guilty, the same would apply. But they pled guilty, so regardless of whether or not what they pled guilty to was legitimate, they are still guilty and accepted it.
