The first tool I would reccomend is the Estwing 14 inch axe (hatchet).

>solid all steel
>usable out of the box edge
>can be used to hammer/batoning

This bad boy is "full tang" and the handle is wrapped in leather washers. It will last you a life time and you can find it in any home depot, or camping supply store.

does this seem like Sup Forums material you miserable cocksucker?

Forgot to mention it's usually under 40 goybucks to buy

>move out of the city
>stop living in rats nest apartment complexes
>stop paying the rent jew
>buy your own land
>build your own cabin
>buy chickens
>learn farm crops
>will have to chop lots of wood

You will need an axe to be free of the rent/tax jew. That's what this thread is for.

Want a bigger axe that could be used to cut down some trees? (More firewood)

Try the Cold Steel Trail Boss. It's about a boys axe length but It'll take down most medium/small dead standing trees with ease.

It's also a great axe to buy if you want to get into customizing your handles.

I use Bahco hatchets (cheap and quality) and Bahco Mora knives for GP knife work (cheap and quality) around the farm.

Cheap 12 gauges (old H&Rs mostly) if I have to kill something.

KA-BAR fighter/utility is my /out/ belt knife. I love them.

got one of these a month ago, solid tomahawk, merc'd a few roos with it already. all in all id give it a 8/10

This baby ranges from 25-45 goybucks btw.

Also cold steel axes come with a weird varnish in the handles. Sand that shit off unless you like having your hands full of blisters.

This is what happens when you use Clover and mix up because of the general theme

lmao what are you going to do with those faggot hand axes buy yourself a splitting axe and a chainsaw.

>w-what is a splitting axe user
My cock when it is used to part a womens legs. Pic related.

>buy yourself a splitting axe
I'm getting to that lad
>and a chainsaw.
expensive

So you cut down a dead standing tree. Now you have to split that bitch up into burnable pieces.

Don't over think things (or over pay).

Look at this finnish made splitter:

You can find this baby at home depots and hard ware stores as well

>visit yard sale, flea market, etc...
>find an old stamped craftsman
>angle grinder the fucker
all you'll ever need.

>fiskars
lol

>fiskars
Better than splitting your shit with a hatchet and wood wedges.

...

Finding it hard to split certain knoty pieces of wood?

Buy a wedge like this: toolboxsupply.com/products/truper-33040-super-splitting-wedge-black-4-lb?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=TBS_Shopping_3&utm_term=4574861725206081&utm_content=Ad group #1

I've used that before to chop an entire tree into firewood, it's amazing.

Chain saws are awesome but they are quite expensive to buy and maintain.

If you're on a budget look into silky saws.
