Who are these VAs?
Anyone we should be excited about?

>those designs and VA's
I'm feeling Zexal vibes.

>I'm feeling Zexal vibes.
The best kind of vibes

Most of these people are newcomers. Takahiro Sakurai is pretty popular one, as he voiced Osomatsu. Shoma Yamamoto is V from ZEXAL and Shunsuke Takeuchi is popular because of his roles as Producer from Idolmaster and Gonta from Danganronpa V3.

>>Takahiro Sakurai
nice, Aoi's VA seems to be a literal who

>bottom left

I actually enjoyed Zexal despite the massive normalfag hate for it.

>shinji is aoi's dad

Shoma has done seiyuu work for ygo before

I have only watched 10 episoes of Zexal but those 10 episodes were better than the first 10 episodes of ARC-V to me.

>The main character, Fujiki Yosakui is a cool high school student with excellent observation eyes. In order to defeat the "knight of Hanoi" that plots the collapse of "LINK VRAINS", he transformed himself into his avatar "Playmaker" and was fulfilling a duel unnoticed.
>In such a case, information hinted that "SOL Technology Inc." is desperately searching for a mysterious life form by hacker, Shouichi Kusanagi with the same purpose as playing. Playthings noticed that it is also following the "Knights of Hanoi" trap the network and plan the capture operation ... ....

>first episode titled "My name is Playmaker"

You lied to me Sup Forums, you said I would get an ikemen rival

第2話 「城之内死す」

>knight of Hanoi
Confirmed for South Vietnamese diaspora butthurt.

Let me guess, Yusaku flies the yellow flag with three red stripes.

>IV in Arc-V
>V in VRAINS

>Shunsuke Takeuchi as Revolver

Producer-san...

>Producer is the rival
Well that's odd

>Takahiro Sakurai
IKEMEN FORM CONFIRMED

"謎の生命体" is trending in Japan.
This is the power of seiyu star.

So only Sakurai is the really prolific VA in this cast. The others aren't as well known or complete greenhorns.

He should've voiced Shoichi instead of this AI program.

Literally every YGO except ARCV got newbie VA for the main cast

鬼塚豪/Go鬼塚 Onizuka, Gou / Go Onizuka
Voiced by 濱野大輝 Hamano Daiki

Another relative new comer, this is one of his first major anime roles. He’s played Angel in X-Men: Apocalypse’s Japanese Dub, but has also done various voice work for Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, including:

• The headmaster of Michio’s cooking school
• One of the Obelisk Force
• Carl of the Knight of Duels
• Damon Lopez

>wrestling guy is a jobber
wew

Hopefully the little monster that will become the new Atem/Astral/Ute won't be as annoying as that Ghost from YW, the new Digimons from Applimonster and the RotomDex. He gives me those vibes tho, at least Yusaku looks suoer serious to make up for him

Who is the rival?

What is a non japenese doing in the cast?
And that woman down could be Yusaku's mother

That Revolver dude i think. His design is terrible tho

He's a halfu

Mask-kun he's voiced by Moeducer

wouldn't they share last name then?

>Yusaku Fujiki
>Mysterious Organism
>Shoichi Kusanagi
>Naoki Shima
>Go Onizuka
>Aoi Zaizen
>Akira Zaizen
>Ema Bessho
>Revolver

>Aoi's VA is a singer

I KNEW IT

It's the mysterious guy. Expensive VA + he's listed second on the official site

No, mysterious guy is the critter.

Then why does he have a 3000 ATK ace monster then?

>Arc-V DVD volumes with the worst rated episodes on Nico aren't being reprinted anymore because of how bad they were

>still thinking Nico ratings have no effect

Yeah that's who I'm talking about. Who do you think I meant?

Not really, they are still being produced

Release Date: Apr 19, 2017
Price: 5800 Yen plus Tax.
Episodes: 133-136

...

New cheerful cast of VA's who will get their dreams destroyed and feel like shit when recording the last episodes of VRAINS which will without a doubt, be a trainwreck.

except takahiro sakurai

Did Arc V do so bad they could only afford one good VA?

>2 good va's to 1 good va
>arc-v was the standout with the mc not being some literal who

Yugioh was always like this arcvfag

>Aoi Zaizen
>Akira Zaizen
So siblings or Daughter/Father relationship since they have the same last name?

>all those seiyuu
Literally who?

Controlling father so Aoi takes out her stress in VRAINS

Ishige, Shouya’s Comment

Q. What was your impression when you were chosen to play Fujiki Yusaku.
A. At first, it was “I’ve been chosen. To voice Fujiki Yusaku.”. When I learned I would be voicing him, my mind went blank for a bit. I was shocked, thinking “No way, me?”. But then, I felt excited that I could voice a role in “Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS”.

Q. Please give a message to the viewers looking forward to the show’s broadcast.
A. I plan to do my best, while enjoying my work, to help make “Yu-Gi-Oh!” even more exciting and so viewers can enjoy “Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS” as well.

Sakurai, Takahiro’s Comments

It is Sakurai, Takahiro who will be playing the role as the “Mysterious Organism”. This shocking character’s visual…! What kind of role, what kind of story does he have. I’m really glad to be able to work on this historical production. I will do my very best!

Kimura, Subaru’s Comments

I’m feeling delightfully happy. I’ve been assigned to a pretty important role, which makes me feel rather tense that I’ll be playing Kusanagi for quite some time, but I think I’ll be able to enjoy it as well. I’ll be glad if I can make sure viewers watching the series are excited. Thank you very much!

Sawashiro, Chiharu’s Comments

I was really glad when I was chosen to voice a character in this show! It’s a series I’ve dreamed of working on since I was in elementary school! I’ll try my very best!!!!! I hope to see you all (o^^o)!!

Hamano, Daiki’s Comments

When I saw the character, I was impressed by his smile and large frame. I want to perform the role while not losing the sense of scale of the character. To all you “Yu-Gi-Oh!” fans out there… …Please looking to his cards in action in “Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS”‘s novel approach to the series! I want to be able to pull off this role as the Shawn Michaels/The Heartbreak Kid of the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” world.

Nakashima, Yuki’s Comments

I’m so excited since I thought I wouldn’t be a good fit for the role of “Zaizen, Aoi”!! I’ll do my best to make sure you enjoy Aoi’s charms! Please support “Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS”!

Yamamoto, Shouma’s Comments

This time, Yamamoto Shouma shall be voicing Zaizen Akira. In the past I’ve played two roles in the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” franchise, so I plan to do my very best using my prior experience with this series, so please support me!

Kamakura, Yuna’s Comments

When I found out I’d be able to appear this time as an actor for the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” franchise, which I’ve been watching since I was young, I blanked out from sheer surprise and excitement. I’ll do my best to play the female character, Ema. I’ll do my best in Attack Position to make sure everyone can enjoy the show!

Takeuchi, Shunsuke’s Comments

Since this series I’m working on is part of a franchise I’ve followed since I was young, the fact I can participate in it as an actor is something I feel honored by. I’ll try my best to show the impression I felt to people all over the world. Please enjoy this new series!

I miss Arc-V.

You will miss it more when Vrains becomes a vrainwreck

>I’ll do my best in Attack Position to make sure everyone can enjoy the show!
What did she mean by this?

Have you ever heard of Stockholm syndrome?

>I want to be able to pull off this role as the Shawn Michaels/The Heartbreak Kid of the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” world.

What would that mean?

...

Is that Teppei's twin brother or Teppei's avatar in Link Vrains?

Ygorganization's summary:

Playmaker (Fujiki, Yusaku/Playmaker)
Voiced by Ishige, Shouya

This is his first debut role as a major character in an animated series, with his previous work being stage musicals, playing Simba in the Lion King.

The Mysterious Lifeform
Voiced by Sakurai, Takahiro

A long runner in the anime industry, he’s played multiple series voices such as Tentomon from Digimon Adventure, Yu Kanda from the 2000s adaptation of D.Gray-man, Suzaku from Code Geass, Sasori from Naruto, Makishima Shougo from Psychopass, and is the Japanese voice of Cloud Strife of Final Fantasy VII fame. And Rohan from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Kusanagi, Shoichi
Voiced by: Kimura, Subaru

The voice actor for Takeshi Goda since 2005. His other notable role is as Terasaka Ryōma from Assassination Classroom. Both are delinquent/bully type characters, though the latter ends up reformed and a recurring secondary-tertiary protagonist.

Shima Naoki
Voiced by Sawashiro, Chiharu

A relative newcomer, he’s played the voices of mostly minor roles, though he has also done the voice of Shiga, Masamune in Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters’ Japanese Version.

Onizuka, Gou / Go Onizuka
Voiced by Hamano, Daiki

Another relative new comer, this is one of his first major anime roles. He’s played Angel in X-Men: Apocalypse’s Japanese Dub, but has also done various voice work for Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, including:

• The headmaster of Michio’s cooking school
• One of the Obelisk Force
• Carl of the Knight of Duels
• Damon Lopez

Zaizen, Aoi/Blue Angel
Voiced by Nakashima, Yuki

A newer voice actress who has recently appeared as a major character in lower run anime series such as Onigiri, her most notable role of significance is as Otokura, Yuki in The iDOLM@ASTER: Cinderella Girls.

Zaizen, Akira
Voiced by Yamamoto, Shouma

For simplicity’s sake, his most notable role for readers here is as V, the eldest Arclight brother in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL.

Bessho, Ema
Voiced by Kamakura, Yuna

A new voice actress with nothing major to her resume.

Revolver
Voiced by Takeuchi, Shunsuke

Amusingly his major role of note besides as Revolver is as the Producer from iDOLM@STERS: Cinderella Girls, Black Archer from the Fate/Apochyra anime and Dragon Ryu from Duel Masters VSRF.

>Tentomon
SOLD

>Onigiri
Sold.

Well if we follow the patterns.
1 DM, 3 5D's, 5 Arc-v Good start, goes downhill near the end except for some good parts inbetween with a good ceremonial duel(except Arc-v).
2 GX, 4 Zexal, Shitty/Boring start, starts getting much better near the end and ends with a good ceremonial final duel.
Get ready for VRAINS to be shit at the start, but come back in the middle for some hype and a shitty final ceremonial duel.

Well I watched Arc-V only for Kensho Ono and I will watch Vrains for Takahiro Sakurai. Both are in top 5 best male voice actors that Japan has.

>giving the main heroine another relevant father figure
Really?

pashplus.jp/anime/tvanime/49679/
People who have watched the first episode said it will make everyone cry.
DM was the only show that was good all the way to the end
>Well I watched Arc-V only for Kensho Ono
How much of a faggot can you be?

At least Aoi's dad looks miles better than the shitty Yuzu's dad who was more of a comedy relief character

>People who have watched the first episode said it will make everyone cry.
Why?

I'm not a faggot, I'm a girl.

He was the best father.

It was that bad

Bad? How?

He's arguably one of the only best father figures in YGO and defiantly the best in ARC-V. Especially when trying to compare him with the idiot named Leo and the useless hyped reject Yushou.

And an irrelevant one at that. Where was he in the 130 episodes after the first season? Crying in the Standard Dimension

jk

Right.

Oh he was born in Germany

Indeed, nothing much he could do. Arguably, it was better off him, and most of the Standard characters(that weren't retconed) stayed there since everyone else were so poorly treated. Even then they treated him so generic it was damn near insulting during the final premise when they were given amnesia.

He's the one father who didn't make things worse.

She's probably a teacher or something.

>I'm a girl.
Tits or your a liar

Probably Aoi's opponent. How many people remember the idol girl Yuzu fought and defeated back in Standard?

So is that Kusanagi guy going to end up being the Joey/Shark character?
I'd be ok with that.

This series will feature TWO goofy/fat fucks?

What are they thinking?!

By the end, neither of them were even fathers

I only see ONE goofy fat fuck

>buckethead
>not goofy

shig

How did he get so fat?

Black guy looks retarded
Fat guy looks retarded

But how exactly will they deal with Yusaku's daddy issues?

Because you can't with Yu-Gi-Oh without daddy issues.

...

Maximillion Pegaaasuuus!

>Aoi is a lesser Idolmaster Idol
>the rival/big bad is the fucking Producer

Did Yugi have daddy issues. I know the others did.

He had Grandpa issues

>Souichi is the rival
I haven't seen a plainer rival before

Egao?

I hope he uses engrish

Did Judai have daddy issues when we barely knew of his relationship to either of his parents?
