Was she the main character?

It was her
She had the only thing resembling character in the series
>you'll never get a bite out of Mami
This show had terrible characterization.
She and Sayaka were the true main characters as a pairing.
Madoka is the protagonist, Homura is the hero.
en.wikipedia.org
Homura hits more of these points than Madoka, though the impression is created that it's Sayaka at first.
When you watch episode 10.
it's almost as if the show was able to tell the story from multiple points of view simultaneously
Homura is at least partially antagonistic up until episode 10.
...
Don't we all?
Homura was the deuteragonist to Madoka being the protagonist. However it switches in Rebellion
As far as our hearts and dicks are concerned, yes.
Protagonist, MC, whatever you want to call it, Madoka is clearly the one who's at the center of the story, and most of it is told from her point of view. The protagonist being useless and passive for most of the story isn't exactly uncommon.
I think so, though it isn't obvious, especially on a first viewing. The story is primarily from Madoka's perspective, but she's really just observing for most of it.
If you don't think Madoka was the main character you can just heck right off
Only in episode 10.
"Main character" doesn't mean "character whose actions are important to the plot."
>What is a deuteragonist
Madoka had characters?
Best girl, best character.
Prove me wrong
Best crack too hehe xd
Quality* post.
*denoting sarcasm
No, that's completely wrong.
What's this thing about Madoka not having any characters?
Wasn't it just stills of landscapes and futuristic architecture? I forget
What the fuck? I'm willing to bet that after a certain point it was mostly just little girls crying
ya but wt did u rely say wen u mad the whole thing n ur mom
not enough small talk for the k-on crowd
Sayaka had a character. Other than that you just have art designs.
I really don't understand why this anime was so fucking popular.
>there are people who think Homura was the main character of the series
>there are people who think this show had no characterization
Never post this image again, you disgusting reprobate
What's wrong with Madoka holding a gun? Maybe Homura is giving her lessons.
It looks like shit. I realize you probably can't tell because you're some breed of reprehensible mobile poster, but that's exactly why you shouldn't ever try to share your opinions about anything.
Blame Shaft.
I'm just going to assume you're pretending to be retarded.
I am not mobile. Believe what you will, though.
If that's the case, then your lack of standards is even more appalling.
Then that's fine. Your standards are no different than mine anyway, save for the fact that you hide yours.
I hope it is "hands on" training.
Can you provide me with a higher quality reaction image of Madoka holding a gun, please?
>implying he isnt just a shitposter
I think she was the only one
She was definitely in Rebellion but the series' protagonist was still Madoka.
Plebs love plot tweests. I learned this when going through the IMDB top 250 back in the day.
Only an idiot would think the plot twist was what made this show successful.
It was successful because it's a cute lesbian romance.
no
The real question is: was she right?
I'm still depressed from watching this shit.
Also: do megucas just die now or go to heaven where they can interact and have fun for eternity?
A character is only a character if ten seasons are spent on plumbing every little detail about them and they constantly have to deal with epic moral dilemmas and grey morality and they have a mile long list of imperfections to make sure they aren't mary sues or self-inserts.
