The articles of confederation

Southern heritage, dumbfuck.

For the purpose of making black people uncomfortable. And making others uncomfortable, too, because of what it was originally intended to represent.

>we want to break from the Union because they won't allow States' Rights for owning slaves, because it is our God given right to own slaves

Pretty sure a black harvard professor completely disproved the notion that the confederate flag is racist so...

For anyone that wants a better grip on the civil war era take the time to watch this (very) old masterpiece. Since Iv'e watched Birth of a Nation (1915, not the 2016 one made by niggers) I feel like I finally can put an image on this period. Very interesting from an historical point of view, especially for non-americans interested in the topic.

Freedom from yankee faggots and niggers.

british navy ensign red with royal blue st andrews cross.

i'm not sure what the stars represent.

Flag of the confederate states, as opposed to the yankee Stars and stripes which was similar enough to cause friendly fire deaths in the civil war.

LOL please

Bush graduated from Yale and Harvard and look where we are now. A degree does not equal shit when it comes to everything in life, retard frog.

The confederate flag is, for a historical fact, racist. They broke from the Union because they felt their States Rights were being violated, and forced to accept that people shouldn't own slaves in a heavily agricultural economy that thrives on slaves. They wanted slavery so bad that they fought for it.

That flag does not stand for Southern Heritage, and anybody who says it does is either brainwashed by Southener Revisionist history, or genuinely believes that Southern Heritage believes that slave ownership should have stayed.

East vs. West, Pakistan man.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
For most southerners, it represents the rich history of their people. To do away with it would, in their minds, do away with their memory.
To africans, it represents that which has held them down for centuries: The White Man and his Racist supremacy.
Funnily enough, it's only the battle flag of Northern Virginia, or Lee's army. The flags which represented the entirety of the confederacy were the Stars and Bars and Bonnie Blue. Pic related is the Stars and bars.

Underrated post

For a people who cared so much about blacks you guys sure did welcome them into your own states.

>looks at ethnic demographics

Oh wait you didnt.

replacing the white lower class with the black people
>b-b-but we were the good goys!
sorry but just because you lost a war doesn't make you a good guy at all and your great relatives nonironically fought for jewish profits while the north fought to preserve their all white union

slavery. heritage memers can fuck right off

Treason.

A confederacy, rather than a shitty union

Today it stands for two things. To people that fly it, it represents having parties and getting drunk. To people that don't fly it, it represents the swastika.
