Who is best girl in Tsukihime?

Akiha > Ciel > Arcueid > Hisui > Kohaku >>> Satsuki.And I don't know about Aoko.

Arc >*

Arcueid.

Arc > Akiha >> Kohaku > Hisui >> Satsuki > Ciel.

Top tier
Akiha
Satsuki
Arc

Good tier
Kohaku
Hisui

Shit tier
Ciel

>still looking forward to this shit

Guys, please. Just let it live on in your memories.

I like that new Rin design

Best taste in the thread so far. But it goes like this actually.

Ciel > Akiha > Hisui = Arcueid >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> shit >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kohaku

I doubt they'll redesign Aoko after Mahoyo.

I can't decide if Ciel's new design is an improvement or not.
In any case, what is this supposed to be? A remake of the anime?

Is Mahoyo translated? Is it worth reading?

It's getting slowly translated chapter by chapter. I liked it.

Akiha still da bes

No, it's shit.

Still best boy

Akiha and Arc
Worst is Ciel
Indifferent about the others

Kohaku>Satsuki>Arcueid>Akiha>>>Hisui>>>>>>>Ciel

why are so many hating ciel?I only now arcueids route and play right now akiha's route btw

Leaving preferences aside, the best routes are

Hisui>Kohaku>Ciel>Akiha>Arcueid

Len > Kohaku > Miyako > Akiha > Hisui > White Len > Arcureid > Riesbyfe > Aoko > Satsuki >Ciel > Sion

Hisui and Akiha are best girls
Arc is alright
The rest are shit

>Hisui first
I like lying in bed too.

Hey Sup Forums as someone who is getting into type moon related series (I started with Kara no Kyoukai and just finished the 5th movie) would Tsukihime scratch that itch for a dark modern fantasy world? I really enjoyed Kara no Kyoukai and I wanted to dive into a world similar to it.

Also Shiki's a cutie.

Pretty much all of Nasu's works scratch that itch.

Well Kara no Kyokai is like the prototype for both Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime so you probably will enjoy both of them. Just remember, there is no Tsukihime anime only VN

Yes!It's even better than Garden of Sinners in my opinion. And the tsukihime community is small but great

The manga is quite good too if you wanna start with tsukihime or if you don't like visual novels

Thanks for answering kind Sup Forumsnons, I'm downloading as we speak! Should I just jump into any specific route or reserve my first playthrough to a free play and see where my decisions take me?

Thanks for the recommendation, I like visual novel though so it's all good.

Always play the first playthrough however you feel like. Then follow a guide if you want.

Kohaku>Akiha>>>Ciel>Hisui>>>Arc

Fuck you and your taste

>t.cookingpriest

>playthrough however
I recomend you playing arcueids route first. Its the best introducing

Ciel-sempai is the best. BEST!

...

akiha=kohaku>satsuki>arc>hisui>curry shit

I guess it's decided then, thanks again Sup Forumsnons! I really don't know what to expect going in completely blind, but from the quality of Kara no Kyoukai it's probably going to be quite high. Wish me luck.

>decided then, thanks again Sup Forumsnons! I really don't know what to expect going in completely blind, but from the quality of Kara no Kyoukai it's probably going to be quite high. Wish me luck.
have fun!

have fun.
And yes, by all means, do Arc first. These routes are meant to be played in a order.

General route order is Arc -> Akiha -> Hisui -> Kohaku

>Akiha instead of kohaku
wow

>Hisui -> Kohaku
and what is with ciel's route?

At the beach with Arc!

No one likes Ciel user

kohaku is ciel tier

Satsuki followed by Akiha followed by Arcade

Most people skip Ciel's route because it's pretty pointless. It goes through all of the big steps that Arc's does except adds nothing meaningful to the story.

Play order should be Arc -> Ciel -> Akiha -> Hisui -> Kohaku

Ciel's route is generally considered the worst route. There's a lot that is simply copy/pasted over from Arc's route, so do it early to get it out of the way. Plus the "real" story of Tsukihime is the Far Side (Akiha, Hisui and Kohaku's routes).

It adds some interaction with Nanaya Shiki, a lot of worldbuilding, and context regarding the villain.

Arc > Akiha > Kohaku = Hisui = Ciel > Satsuki

I would put Sion near the top with Arc if she counts

>the "real" story of Tsukihime is the Far Side
No.

The worldbuilding is exclusively Church side which is just fluff for the rest of the story. Nothing in it actually matters unless for some reason you like Ciel.

Akiha > Kohaku > Curry > Hisui > Satsuki > Arc
Never bthered with Arcueid's appeal, it's non-existent.

She is kind of boring. Her route is mostly a rehash of Arc's route except making Arc villainous and her "Senpai" persona seem somewhat fake and she tried to kill MC because mah duty. I felt she should stay as support cast instead.

Yes

I was planning to do Arc first actually, but with the added input it's an absolute now. Also thanks Sup Forumsnon for letting me know to get Ciel's route out of the way early.

Nah, it's just Sup Forums being Sup Forums. Play it as you want. The Arcuied route is the easiest, so you will probably get that one first.
Prepare for the feels in the Far Side routes tho

I only had feels in Arc and Akiha routes.

>Feels in Arc route
>Not in Hisui and Kohaku routes

You what m8?

...

I shed tears on Arc's backstory.
And I was somehow prepared for everything in Hisui route after Akiha's one.

You're actually forced to do a Near Side route first so you would have to do Ciel or Arc as your first route anyway. Most people hate having to do the same route twice in a row which is why skipping Ciel is best.

Make sure to read Kagetsu Tohya afterwards.

Well, yeah, if you are not prepared (As myself) you get the feels in Arc and Ciel route. But if you come unprepared and spoiler free to Hisui and Kohaku, you get reckt

This is terrible advice as the game is completely impossible to navigate

What are you talking about? Unless you're 8, it's pretty straightfoward.

If you're having or had that much trouble then use a guide but it's required reading to understand the lore of the universe.

...

Hisui = Akiha > Arc = Aoko > Sion > Len > White Len > Miyako > Kohaku > Sacchin > everyone else > Ciel

...

FUCK YOU NASU

Am I the only one who really enjoyed how KT almost felt like an open world visual novel? I'd love to see some more VN's get written with that same idea of giving the reader a vast amount of freedom in mind.

...

Die spawn of satan.

Akiha is great imouto and one of the best tsundere ever made.

she isn't realy a tsundere in my opinion user

She isn't, she is just really strick and akward.

This is how tsundere were in early 2000

A superior vintage of tsundere.

So I keep hearing those term of near and far sighted routes, so does that mean I have to play some routes twice to get the full story?
Is Kagetsu Tohya a spin off sequel or something? I mean I'll play if it's necessary to have a complete view on the overall story. Also I'm kind of shocked that I just started Tsukihime and I didn't expect the main character to have the same (or similar) ability as Shiki Ryougi. Guess I'm hooked!

The routes are grouped up into Near and Far Side of the Moon. Near Side routes are Arc and Ciel, Far Side are Akiha/Hisui/Kohaku.

Yep. She is among the best ones for certain.

Fandisc/Sequel VN.

Kagetsu Tohya is the sequel to Tsukihime and explored Shiki's past and his relationship with the other characters. It takes place after one of the good routes, probably Arc's but maybe one of the other ones.

The near side of the moon routes are Ciel's and Arc's routes. The primary focus of those routes is on the vampires. The far side of the moon routes are Akiha's, Hisui's and Kohaku's route. Those focus more on Shiki's family.

You have to complete one of the near side routes before you can do the far side routes.

Ahh thanks for elaboration Sup Forumsnon, I now know the technical terms for later down the road.
Ah good too know thanks! However you say fandisk so its not directed by nasu, but it's still a worthwhile play?

I'm sad that i'm not autistic enough anymore to replay this one. I hope the remake gets translated two months before it's released. Seriously, those jap fucks should finally make some deals with jast/mangagamer to get simultaneous releases going.

Hey user, I'll firmly advice you to avoid this thread and other Tsukihime related threads on Sup Forums.
Tsukihime is great but you should really avoid the spoilers as they are quite unexpected and are a good part of the entertainment.

Second this. I jumped in blind and didn't enter Tsukihime/nasuverse threads until I'd done all the routes. Had a way better experience that way than I did playing F/SN as I'd already been spoilered up the ass.

Kagetsu Tohya has a main story and then a number of different bonus scenarios. Nasu wrote the main storyline and then some fans and friends wrote some of the extra content. The main story route though in Kagetsu Tohya is absolutely considered canon.

>so its not directed by nasu
It is directed by Nasu and the main story is written by him however there are some short stories which you unlock that is written by some fans which were directed by Nasu. Fandisc is just a term people use for when a complete VN gets some added content to it for fans i.e Afterstories, side stories, wallpapers, ect. Don't forget to read Plus Disc before reading KT as it takes place before it.

Takeuchi needs to be put down. His Saber lust is ruining everything.

His Saber lust sells. Takeuchi is a necessary evil. The antihero to Nasu's hero.

both are villains

Thank for elaborating deeper Sup Forumsnon!
Yeah I plan to leave the thread soon since I just started playing Tsukihime just a few minutes ago, but I just enjoy the fact that I can be informed on the best way to enjoy the story by such passionate people who already enjoyed the game enough to know how to show a beginner. Thanks for the warning the both of you.
Ah that's fantastic, thanks for info kind Sup Forumsnons, I'll definitely play KT as soon as I fully complete Tsukihime. Also yeah the whole technical terms for vn's confuses me a bit, thanks for letting me know when people use the term fandisk.

Takeuchi owns Type-Moon so you will have to live with him until the remake is out because Takeuchi said he is retiring after it is complete.

The only reason I like Prisma. No Saber clones running around and ruining everything.

Nasu is innocent.

>I'll definitely play KT as soon as I fully complete Tsukihime
You mean after you finish Plus Disc as the main story of Plus Disc directly leads into KT.

>innocent
nasu makes fate go/extra/apo what ever crap and not a tsukihime remake or an tsukihime anime
