Why can’t eurocucks into space travel?

your space programs suck. why is it always up to the US to push the limits of and achieve the human potential?

>ISS doesn’t count

And Russia and China

...

We like to waste our money on other things instead - like foreign aid

qrd?

You took our scientists and their inventions.
All you did was throw money at them.

jealous?

No. It's just rididulous of you to boast about this.

boast about accomplishing the greatest feat in human history?

Are you serious or just a fucking troll? At this point in time, the United States doesn't even HAVE a vehicle that can get our astronauts into space. We haven't had a way to get American's into space since the shuttle program, which we ended with no replacement. America has to beg Russia for rides into space and we pay through the ass for the opportunity. Talking about the US and NASA pushing the limits in space exploration is a total fucking joke right now. Grab a book and do some learnin'.....

The Rosetta was launched in 2004 and landed on a comet what have you send into space after 2004 thats not a satellite?

also i can play that game
>Spacex doesn't count

get rid of merkle and kebab and we'll share.

Let's be honest, we didn't TAKE them. They made a choice based on the situation at the time. They could come with us; they could be captured by the Russians and basically become Soviet slaves; or they could risk staying in Germany and possibly be tried for war crimes. They jumped at the chance to come here.

That's pretty much the opposite of having a choice.

Shitty choices are still choices. It was what it was.

who’s footprints are on the moon?

Fuck yeah. Space program. Dumping epic American space stuff.

...

these trigger non-moonwalkers

The European Space Agency has done some pretty impressive stuff but they are underfunded and limited in scope. Russia has an impressive history but today is extremely short on cash and dependent on old hardware from the Soviet era. US is innovative and very productive in deep space research, but is a high cost enterprise. China and India are still in the fundamentals stage but making progress.

You know all white Americans originally came over from Europe, right?

rly?

...

We actually retired the shuttle ahead of time because it was expensive to operate and we could buy flights on the Soyuz for less money. In doing so, we lost the capability to remove equipment and experiments from the ISS because the Soyuz descent module is very small.

...

Each of those two boosters dump 10,000 lbs of fuel per second, while the three center engines dump 3,000 lbs of fuel per second for a total of 29,000 lbs of fuel during 100% burn times (Initial lift of, then pulls back to 65% through maximum atmospheric pressure [Max Q, thickest part of the atmosphere where aero-dynamic pressure is the greatest so it is less fuel efficient to push max throttle at this time] and then back to 100% until they drop the boosters!

Your serious, right? Juno, Cassini with it's lander that touched down on Titan, four mars rovers, lots of other deep space probes I can't even think of, James Webb space telescope coming up. Look at the wiki for deep space probes by nation, we've been very productive over the last 20 years.

Plus, the Russians make better and more efficient engines (more cost effective too).

...

it's just a behind the scenes photo from Lolita
because Kubrick filmed Apollo11-17

what are you talking about. the Americans never did.

...

In fact, Elon uses old Russian engines in his crafts, because they were on sale and they were still incredibly reliable, even after years of neglect. Just a little refurbish and polish and the are good to go! Where as U.S. engines have to be replaced much more often, because the really aren't as good!

ummm euros were on the moon before america?

The water that shoots out under the engines during ignition and lift off isn't for fire safety, it is there because the noise generated by the engines is so incredibly loud that the vibrations of the sound waves will literally shake the shuttle apart, so the water acts as a sound dampener. Once there is lift off, then the shuttle is stabilized under G-Load, while also travelling away from the sound waves!

...

common, you pay russians to fly you to ISS

What foreign aid Nigel?

first guy on moon was Neil A or A lien
you goys can't be falling for this still

>Spacex doesn't count
Space X is an American company, that operates under American guidance. DOD can order Space X to refuse service to any country at anytime, for any reason. Elon can't do shit about it.

They make engines at lower cost and have an innovative staged combustion engine that gets the most out of kerosene fuel. But they have never done a lot of work with high energy combos like LOX/Hydrogen and lagged in scaling engines to large sizes like the F1 or the RS25 (Shuttle engine) which is larger and has higher efficiency than anything the Russians have done, but is an expensive to manufacture engine.

It's also reusable, Russian engines that use the staged combustion technique run erosive conditions in the turbine and are only good for one shot. Interesting tech but there are many ways to build an engine.

Every time I look at a photo of the moon all I can see is the stupid rear screen projection. Fucking Kubrick

Are yanktards really this dumb? Do you lack any semblance of personal accomplishment that you feel the need to live through retarded patriotism constantly? This is why everyone wants you to get nuked.

Space excites the shit out of me.

The moonlandings are fake. You are a retard for believing in it

>he still thinks the moon landing was real

The ESA landed on Titan with their Huygens probe. The farthest body we've ever landed on. ESA is a great space agency in my opinion.

The shittiest space agency has to be Roscosmos. I don't think they've even gotten outside of LEO in like 30 years. Pretty pathetic. I bet some Russiaboo will remind me about the Soyuz space taxi but like I said, LEO. Russians don't care about space anymore beyond the Earht's orbit.

Actually, it's ULA (joint venture of Boeing and Lockheed) that uses Russian made RD180 engines on the Atlas 5. Spacex uses clusters of US designed Merlin engines. ULA uses US built RS68A engines on the Delta4 heavy, which are designed to be less expensive than older American tubewall motors that were very expensive to build.

Russia is a lower income country that can manufacture at a lower cost than the west, hence the use of RD180's as a cost saving measure.

NASA stopped being cool in the 70s though.
Put a man on Mars or GTFO.

>up to the US to push the limits
Except that was the soviets.

you feeling froggy?

You are such a fucking idiot.

>gets btfo by rice farmers
>need a distraction
>pretend to go the moon by faking it badly
>mongrels fall for it

>why is it always up to the US to push the limits of and achieve the human potential?
The US is by far the most narcissistic and egocentric nation of all. That is the only motivation behind burgers. All they do in the space race was only because they have competence. Once the URSS "lost" do you burgers keep doing something about it? No. Europeans as a continent may not do anything relevant on space programs but they never look interested in that. Not to mention your country took German scientist and appropriated their inventions.

>The ESA landed on Titan with their Huygens probe.
Reminder that it was a JOINT MISSION with NASA. Nice try though.

>being this assblasted

Space program would have been far better if you had let the Germans win WWII.
The US wouldn't even have a space program if it wasn't for the Nazi scientists they captured.

The Russians actually instigated the "space race". They were desperate to prove the superiority of the Soviet Socialist system over the western capitalist system. Most Americans didn't give a shit about space until Sputnik, and only cared after that because they felt one-upped.

The Russians did good work in the 60's and 70's but the collapse of the Soviet Union dealt a crippling blow to their space industry that they never really recovered from which is why today they are stuck in low earth orbit and reduced to a participant role in a largely US built and financed "international" space station.

We don't care about dick waving.

We only care about (commercial) satellites. - and there we are #1.

I'm not dear mutt. I'm only telling what your country is, and considering your answer I can be sure that you are like everybody in your country as well.

Russians didn't care about any "space race".
For them it wasn't a competition, they just wanted to spy on you and possibly drop A-bombs on you from orbit.

...

would you seriously rather have the commies get that spicy technology, and have a commie flag on the moon?
What we did to you was wrong, I think that we should've allied with the Germans to take on the Soviets, that's what Patton wanted.
>"The difficulty in understanding the Russian is that we do not take cognisance of the fact that he is not a European, but an Asiatic, and therefore thinks deviously."

Soviets actually dropped the space race due to the moon landing. It is know they seriously fucked up various times when putting people on the space. The only reason this is not a famous fact is soviet censorship.

I love seeing you niggers so ass blasted over American superiority. Fucking Columbians are the worst.

>taking others people's achieves like yours
>anglos are shitskins
>look at me, I'm an anglo

Call me when burgers can put a man in space without kissing russian ass and forking 80 mil per seat.

...

This!!! Fuck american cucks

>ESA isn't as big us our sm0ll pen0r.
>Autismal Shrieking.
Kys desu though.

Neil Armstrong is a household name though

Stars? Nah.
