It's about as good as I expected, given its description and the vibes I got from the PVs and whatnot, but it definitely captured the realism of adolescence way better than I was expecting.

The realism really struck me as well. It doesn't feel like I'm watching anime characters at all.

The character act to realistic for anime. I don't like it.

I am so excited for the next episode, until I realize what's obviously going to happen.

Akane is going to be unsure and nervous and says he will let him know.
Tomboy-chan will get jealous and have an inner turmoil on what to do.
NTR-kun will make things harder for Akane because she doesn't want to reject him.
MC-kun will be too much of a busy to actually do something until push comes to shove.

Why can't I get a series where the characters are already a couple and we see how they progress from there.
