i wouldn't call it flawless since it had that seizure-inducing flicker effect over some of the fight scenes, but it's such a minor thing that i still regard it as a 10/10

Kenshin was such a wierd anomaly with a good anime, good ova with a complete different tone and atmosphere a good manga, and dare I say a good live action movie. It's no wonder it had to have shitty ova sequel and shitty retelling of an arc that was already well done and no one wanted. It used up all of its good karma.

Haven't finished the Jinchuu arc in the manga but I'm about halfway through it and it just isn't that great so far. People complain about Reflections being a bad OVA but the source material isn't so great either.

I love how that pic just totally spoils the ending.
It's definitely the high point of the series, which probably isn't saying much but it's definitely a good watch. It's about Kenshin's life before he became a wanderer.
Also avoid Reflections like the plague.
No that's Reflections, a shitty non-canon cashgrab that even the creator hated.
