I watched two episodes and then watched knights of cydonia

Top tier girls, shame about the localization

What do you think of this?

The best anime of the 2010s

I wanna wear that helmet

2202 BDs fucking when?

Probably one of the best remasters of an anime

is this porn

It's ok, but nowhere near as good as Heroic Age.

It's great. Top 10 of the decade maybe.

It made me remember that soft sci-fi can be enjoyable.

Where are the subs for 2202?

Plot armor more ridiculous than the original
Waifu pandering

I like the original.

Started out promising then went to clitchy crap at the end

Bar none the best scifi anime of the 2000s. Maybe even of all time if you classify EVA as strictly mecha. At least in my book it's better than LotGH which would be the only serious contender otherwise. Although to me LotGH is also more of a drama. Akiras is top tier waifu as well, ignore all the blonde clones.

Will take ages because the BDS cost 80 bucks for 3 episodes. I was close to buying the entire 2199 pack for 300 but then I found a website where I could download all episodes in. Neat 50GB pack at full speed. Jesus Christ was I happy.

looks like shit

That's your problem.

I liked it.
Definitely gave my space battle boner a run for its money.

Superb space opera.

One of my favourites.

why not download the blu ray version

I'll just leave this here:

It was really good and I loved it.

pretty good

Based space sub captain and his wacko crew made this whole thing worth it.

I think it's cool even though it's kind of weird, too. A boat in space fighting with a giant laser

Rare case where a reboot anime is actually good. My only complaint is Okita didn't get to see a blue earth for the last time.

it was much better than I expected. I always knew this was an old classic, but dreaded watching the remake

they made some changes in the remake to the original. I think in the original, the younger guy was the real commander responsible for the brilliant strategies, not the old guy

2199 is outstanding.

Shame the Japanese went full retard with 2022 though.

Absolutely love it.

They dropped subtitles from the second season BDs.

That's entirely the point though. There was nothing there for him anyway, his family were gone.

Good stuff. Really captures that old school feel, and the feeling of a proper space opera that you rarely find nowadays in animu

For a second I thought we were getting a 40k anime. A man can dream
