What is THE edgiest mess of manga for you?
Edgeboys united
That one was funny
Lucky star or whatever it was called is probably my favourite /edge/
That one with the "hero" who needs to kill his teammates for a temporary powerup, the stronger they are the stronger it become.
Heck, even the front the author use is edgy.
It's not how it works dude.
the one with the young kids who have things like pokemon except its super dark.
Of stuff I read recently (and so can still remember clearly), Sekai Oni was pretty edgy.
Sekai oni was fun though
Wolf Guy
Dungeon Seeker.
...
I like "god you bastard I want fucking kill you"
It is so edgy, but it also is really fucking silly.
Reversible Man.
I don't think there's scans for this, it came out in France and I gave it a read.
For the plot, it's about people having so much personal issues their body just "reverse".
which is pretty hard to explain now that I haven't read it for awhile, but basically what was outside is now inside and vice-versa.
They end up mostly being crime lords and psychotic murderers.
It's pretty much a bloodbath.
Even the Genocyber anime look tame in comparison.
>it came out in France
Why the fuck does all the good stuff like TWIM and other gritty seinenshit have to be licensed in France only? What the hell man
France is the biggest weaboo and the second bigger manga buyer after all.
Yup, but author never understood that, and that's why he had to end his new manga on 5th volume.
I kinda doubt this was intended, since it feels kinda rushed.
Kichikujima
...
MangaUpdates needs a edgy tag.
I live for this retarded shit.
Here's a better one.
???
At least it gave us this awesome picture
Too bad the girl was a prostitute, though. She was my favorite, but I think I only read the first few chapters.
That. I'm not into this kind of stuff so I steer clear of it best as I can. I read that as a pure curiosity because I kept hearing how ridiculously edgy it was, can't even remember the name.
I don't have a problem with violence, even gratuitous. I do have a problem with it when it's clear that the artist thinks this is totally super shocking and disturbing.
It's hard to explain. For instance Devilman is edgy and violent but it's also full of Nagai cheese so the violence is just entertainment, but stuff like OPs is pushing it as somehow profound catharsis but also trying to make the reader uncomfortable and it just feels ham-handed.
N-nani?
I'm actually surprised noone mentioned this.
