Our world couldn't do anything about Selesia and Mamika fight because it happened too fast. But what if on the next day it was converted into something that's almost perfectly normal? For example instead of flying anime girls fighting it became gas leak explosion or meteor hit.
This would explain why police is not searching for Selesia and Mamika.

So it's okay to say that meteores Cosmic knowledge book Giver a more truth on the world tham previously thought? Maybe? As in that "world information" thing she keeps peeling out might actually possibly be right and might be more important than just the world being more "detailed"

And the whole crashing against the logic of the world

Overall I'm most mad about the way information is withheld just to create suspense.
If the characters have at all spoken with each other, they should have figured out a lot more than is shown. For example, trying out how many different powers they can use, comparing their situation immediately before the scenes of first episode and so on.
