And best OP this season as well with Renai Bokun
Hayashi Yuuki
>And best OP this season as well with Renai Bokun
i prefer machiavellianism's op, but boukuns is good too
The best new composer was GIN that did the KonoBIjutsu ost, but he only has 2 works, 2nd being worst show of this season (Twin Star something)
is the anime any good or just did you watch it just because of the soundtrack?
Monaka is probably best in industry when it comes to making energetic songs for comedy shows. And she has worked with Wake Up Girls before, so its good fit.
>Ping Pong
>Nier
>Renai Bokun
>Kizu
>Anne Happy
I love that shit months ago where most of their OSTs all came out at around the same times.
MONACA is fucking gold.
Its great, but its also great BECAUSE of ost - you cant separate them. OST makes for great sport scenes fitting it perfectly.
One of my favorite asian composers by far is Ken Arai, but he made only one anime OST so far and it was rather unlucky in reception

It's pretty bad, don't bother with it.
>And best OP this season as well with Renai Bokun
ID-0, Kado and Salesman beat it easily.
Your heart is dead if this show doesnt make your heartbeat race.
correct
What are some underrated OSTs last year that you want to bring into the radar, Sup Forums?
...
Dimension W. I woudnt call it being "under radar". Ost is great, its just the show itself started great, but then flopped and got forgotten by everyone instantly.
I genuinely tried to be excited for it but it just failed on every front except the OST for me.
The heroine was ridiculously bland and not having your main character be compelling is a serious crime for a sports show. It felt like a very by the numbers imitation of Saki made by a commitee by crossing out points on a list, not like something an author put actual heart into.
Ange Vierge without a doubt.
Look Sup Forums. Even if you might not like that show I implore you fags to get its OST.
It's actually glorious.
Occultic;Nine, Concrete Revolutio and Active Raid, of course.
Quality Code

Thouguh any Iwasaki ost cant be underrated
Saki comparison is bad, becase Saki is boring yuri shit compared to Ping Pong Girls. The appeal of anime that its extremely energizing, and the MC is center of it - litterally powering up everyone around her to burn with immense energy, so that the actual battles turn into showdowns more interesting than actual battle anime.
Its gimmicky cute and fast energy. Every character has appealing quirk, and not that kind of Manga Time Kirara shit, but actually making watch them interesting.
Yeah, its pretty good. Dropped show on first ep, but downloaded the OST recently and its fine.
Iwasaki himself admitted he made the QUALITY Code soundtrack shit because he hated the show's premise.
underrated or not but haikyuu is great

If the matches were supposed to be energetic, why did they feel so boring to watch?
Chihayafuru's matches were far more intense and both the show and the game are extremely slow-paced.

Who would possibly rate Kajiura Yuki as last you cur.
How is that bait? Are you disputing Monaka is the most successful current anime composer?
She alone even managed to make batter songs than IM@S and LOVE LIVE franchize combined for WUG.
Putting Sawano and Kajiura that low is bait.
Everyone born before 2000? She is horrible one trick pony rewriting own ost. It was nice first dozen of times, not so nice afterwards.
Kajiura is shit since quite long time. She did not make a decent ost for 6 years already, and even Madoka one was rehash of previous tracks mostly.
Sawano is talented, but he commercializes himself doing exactly what producers demand aka rehashing same type of music and tracks, some repeating themselves from as early as Zombie loan. He still has sparks of brilliance, but unlike Iwasaki for example who just has own recognizable style - doesnt even try to not just produce same formulaic shit.
When is Yoko Kano coming back to anime? Last time was 2014.
She is still working for TV shows, so its not like she retired.
This season Granblue has ost by Final Fantasy 7 etc. composer, Nobue Uematsu
Kado has a great OST, too. Atmospheric as fuck.
user.
MONACA is not a person.
It's a music production group.
Keiichi Okabe is their best, by the way.
