Why do we never here anything about Ukraine or the war in Donbass in the media?
I remember seeing plenty of stories about the revolution in 2014 but then mainstream news sources, at least here in bongland, have been almost completely silent on the issue.
What is it that makes them avoid talking about Ukraine?
Literally nobody gives a shit about this war even in Ukraine, let alone Great Britain or Western Media. About three months ago some faggot from the school where I studied was murdered there and I didn't give a fuck.
Adam Jenkins
It's become a frozen conflict. No large offensives, the frontline is static. Donetsk and Luhansk will likely stay that way for the considerable future, like the other post-Soviet conflicts in the region.
Gavin Garcia
Even Ukraine itself doesn't care to start offensive or anything. They are just holding the line with 30 000 men. Army is now 250 000 men in total.
Ukraine is isolating itself from Russia/Donbass, developing long-range ballistic missiles and MLRS, other advanced weapons to defend itself in future.
They are like ok, fuck Donbass, but if you try to advance further, we will send whole 250 000 zerg rush to defend ourselves and fire missiles at you, dawg
Logan Taylor
You want to know how USA, UK and Russia made precedent for North Korea and Iran to not to give up on their nuclear program, and other countries to start thinking how to get their hands on nuclear weapon?
After cutting off Crimea and donbass everybody know that signing papers means nothing.
But what about USA and UK being so calm (besides liberals) towards Russia and turning off on Ukraine? They are accomplices in a crime.
Aaron Cooper
> Literally nobody gives a shit about this war even in Ukraine GTFO russian agent
Landon Miller
It's a 3rd world shit hole so nobody gives a fuck.
Eli Walker
Ukraine spends 5% of it's total GDP on military now. They are heavily militarized with largest army in Europe excluding Russian federation.
250 000 army, 90 000 national guard. 700 tanks currently in active army.
That's not enough to defeat Russians, but enough to defend itself. It would be stupid to start offensive in next 5 years. They are waiting to finish missile program and re-arming, then they might try to take Donbass with force.
As soon as conflict will be too costly for Russia they will have chance to achieve their goal.
Owen Howard
Everyone in the west is happy with the war as it is, they've got their excuse to exclude Russia from their economic markets and Ukraine is a very convenient lapdog to throw under the bus to stop any idea of Russia reemerging as a great power. At the same time they don't want a full war, nothing to be gained by that, they just need to keep a cold war going for a few decades to weaken Russia. Whole western strategy is to wait and see what happens when Putin is gone, maybe new war in chechnya? civil unrest? They have everything to gain having this frozen conflict going, while Russia is cutting losses by grabbing Crimea to make sure they don't lose control of the Black Sea to NATO.
Jose Jackson
Western media allways reports on explosions in Pakistan or Afganistan of any other 3rd world country
Jacob Hughes
Basically this. Russia keeps focused on Ukraine and this conflict, wastes lots of resources and west is fucking up it's economics.
Nobody cares about interests of Ukraine itself. West is giving some money to Ukraine so it doesn't fall apart by spending 5% of GDP on military, enough to hold country "alive" to keep confrontation with RF.
Kayden Martinez
There are non-stop mentions of evil Russia saving Syria from muslim extremism, no one ever speaks of good ally Saudi Arabia bombing yemeni civilians for years. The media in the west is heavily anti-russian and pro jew-government in Ukraine, but right now there's nothing to speak about because the conflict is frozen. The ball is in ukranian court but they simply don't want to go forward with minsk agreement, they are happy cutting off donbass and using it as an excuse for why the economy is bad and why they haven't gotten rid of corruption and so on, maybe it will pay off in 20-30 years but I doubt it.
Nicholas Rodriguez
Not much is happening. Cockholes are too busy editing wikipedia and spamming reddit to do another failed military push, republics too busy trying not to become total shitholes, Russia is fine with how things worked out. Just wait till the new gas pipeline is finished, they'll hit the event horizon of irrelevance then.
Gabriel Fisher
Ukro girls are pretty and Azov is based, isn't it? I thought they were but saw they were training with jihadist of russia and with support of (((they))). Ukro anons, would you reccomend going as a volunteer?
Brayden Jackson
It's not that signing papers means nothing, it's that signing papers that mean nothing means nothing.
The Budapest memorandum never imposed a legal obligation of military assistance.
Lucas Jenkins
Because back in 2014 Ukrainian war was a sensation.
Now, when it became a daily basis, no one needs to report. It's sad tho, Ukrainains murder Donbas civilians every day, and fewer people give a shit every day.
Joshua Harris
azov is owned by this jew stupid idiot. They are ((pocket)) nazis.
Jacob Collins
>It's sad tho, Ukrainains murder Donbas civilians every day
Schlomo pls.
Adam Thompson
That's the reason I said it. I know that many people from my country went one side and the other but I don't know what batallions
Jordan Rivera
>Schlomo pls Funny you say so, Izaak.

Kolomoisky is exiled from Ukropstan now. He stole money from Privatbank and left country.
He doesn't control anything now. State is trying to return money he stole

Wyatt Hernandez
Sup Forums is a joke, nobody knows shit about Ukraine.
>Muh Jews!
Azov doesn't belong to Kolomoisky. They are controlled by Arsen Avakov, who is Armenian, not Jew.
Either way, Azov are joke. If you want to fight, you don't join them. They have no real military operations, just shooting "cool photos" and videos near front line.
Hudson James
Yeah I know. He lives not far away from me in switzerland. i fucking hate that my chechen brothers are involved on both sides on this conflict.

>mass propaganda campaign to justify coup/war >hide it later on
It's the playbook for every war. You never hear anything about libya either and syria is going down the memory hole.
Nicholas Richardson
Two can play the game, rabbi.
Asher Brown
You have no idea how infiltrated their army and intelligence apparatus is. If Russia decided on that option, they would smash them in a week or two.
Cooper Campbell
im the one who brought this pic on 4 chan mate. Both sides in this war are retarded. A battle of piss and shit.
Connor Green
Yeah whatever. I still hope many ukrainian bydlos will die their dog death from separatist hands, before they go west for welfare.
Evan Clark
>You have no idea how infiltrated their army and intelligence apparatus is.
I have more idea than most of Sup Forums does. Yeah they have a lot of Russian agents, that's why Ukraine won't start any serious offensive now. They need more or less 5+- years to finish re-arming and cleansing ranks of army.
>If Russia decided on that option, they would smash them in a week or two.
No they wouldn't. Russian army has no logistical capabilities to do that. No capability to fully suppress AA and AF, no capability to reach Kiev. If you have any clue in military, you would understand why.
All Russia can do is help separatists defeat Ukrainian forces in Donbass, because Donbass is small and Russia controls logistical hubs. But in case of large-scale operations, it's impossible for now.
Neither side can defeat enemy on strategic level. Its all pointless.
Henry Rogers
Most of those aren't Jewish. Timshenko is half-Armenian I think.
Dominic Wright
I thought poles like ukros?
Yeah many of them there are half bloods. But still thats enough to be part of a jewish gang, at least in FSU. I work in banking and me and my father always battle with ((them))
Dylan Cook
>muh Jews
Dude, Russian govt and business is full of Jews, including close friends of Putin, such as Rotenbergs. Jews are everywhere, why is Sup Forums so focused on Ukrainian jews?
This is funny. Putin paid Rotenbergs money they lost during sanctions from RUSSIAN BUDGET. How cucked can you be?
But let's talk about Ukrainian jews..
Adrian Reyes
No one give a fuck anymore, not even the idiots who supported the maidan believing things would change. Ukraine is not and never was independent. Now people are just leaving, to Russia and Poland mainly. Unofficially around 7 million. Not far off 20% of the population
Jeremiah Bailey
Nah, it's only our pro-Israeli goverment. It wastes our tax money on loans for Ukraine (usually ending with Poland remitting the debt) and programs for Ukrainian immigrants in Poland. Polish society luckilly begins too see through goverment's pathetic shilling and starts to turn against Hohols. Especially because of ukrainian ape behaviour in history.
Charles Miller
You're wrong, I have no idea where does this "Russia has no logistics" meme come from. However it wouldn't be a profitable move. Better to just do what they are doing now and let them bleed to death. >5 years Ukraine will be in dire straits in 5 years. >strategic level But that's the thing, you're talking about operational level. On strategic level, Russians are winning. They've been winning since 2014. For Ukraine, only move was to not play the game, and let Russian territories go.
Henry Bell
Yeah both sides call each other Jews it's hard to tel just who's jewing who
Hunter Morris
I've heard that Ukraines population for 2017 is about 25 million. The rest are ghosts. Some left, some died, some never existed in the first place. The gov says it's almost 40 million

First of all - we dont like any of our neighbours except maybe for Czech or Slovakia, second we hate ukros more then moscals.

Because on this place main argument about anything is reduction to Jews. Ukrainian oligarchs are way more powerful than Russian ones though.
Justin Murphy
Why would we hate Belrusians?
Elijah Nelson
Just admit it that Ukrainians > Poles. Just like Russia cucks Ukraine and Russians cuck Ukrainians, Ukrainians do this to Poles.
It's a cycle of life in region. How does it feel, feeding Ukrainian rapefugees? ha-ha!
Austin Barnes
We may never know last census was over 15 years ago and the western backers of the new regime aren't to keen on them doing a new one any time soon. Which should tell you something
Anthony Flores
Fucking Georgian monkey, Poland saved your sorry asses back in 2008, what did hohol scum do for you?
Easton Young
im chechen. Yes jews control many things in russia, but ultimately they are Putins jews. Those jews like Rotenberg are putins youth buddies.
Connor Torres
> Poland saved your sorry asses back in 2008
I never said that Poles suck or that i hate Poland, though. I'm just stating fact, Ukrainians > Poles historically.
>what did hohol scum do for you?
Ukraine sent help in 90's, when Russians were taking Abkhazia from us. Refugees from region were fleeing in cold winter using mountain path and dying there with their children.
Then Ukrainian navy appeared and took part of refugees, also Ukrainian air force with lots of helicopters evacuated people and they didn't die in mountains.
Also in 2008 Ukraine provided us AA defense means, which prolonged conflict a little bit and inflicted losses on Russians. Not much, but we are still very grateful to our hohol brothers.
Eli Ross
Whatever you say, Poland will not save you for Israel's needs anymore, subhuman.
James Brooks
What do u think of Saaka now? My father used to work in Odessa and said he himself is very corrupted while playing a white sheep.
Luis Scott
We left them the third largest army with WMD; weapons in warehouses would be enough to capture the whole continent (twice). What's wrong with hohols? How did they lose all this?
David Williams
You will soon need to be saved from EU yourself. German fourth Reich has awakened, there is nowhere you can run now.
Prepare for arab rapefugees. You actually better prefer Ukrainian ones, ha-ha-ha!
Saaka is not corrupt, it's a meme. He doesn't care about money, he is crazy psychopath, he wants to have power.

If all Geogrians are like this, then this man died for nothing

Basically this. The only reason why Russia didn't do the same, is because Russia had oil moneys.
There is no way Ukraine could have maintained that army it had from USSR.
Robert Nelson

I watched the riots live for weeks, the whole thing was another gift of the US State Department and various NGOs, they were bringing Ukraine fully into the fold and crippling any agency it had left. Russia were never involved in Ukraine until after elected government was toppled by a violent coup, just remember that small fact while the US accuses Russia of being aggressive and simultaneously bombing the shit out of Syria, one of Trumps policies I'm not in agreement with.
Disgusting, desu, you Americans have all these guns but you can't stop a few old men from destabilising governments the world over.
Zachary Ward
But we wuz second France and shiieet. Or am I wrong?
Jaxson Mitchell
I mean never involved militarily beyond their agreed upon bases. Of course they peddled influence there in their own way
Chase Morales
>But we wuz second France and shiieet. >Believing what post-soviet politicians said in 90's
Ayyy. Ukraine never had economy to support that army and no politician in 90's actually did any good reforms. Fall of USSR was a disaster for almost all member countries.
Most of them turned into shitholes by now.
>B..but muh commies!! Commies did all bad!
Bentley Sullivan
Thats true but what also true is that Putin tried to play a "super power" game when his whole "power" is coming from stockpiled USSR nukes + oil moneys. Thats like standing with a big barbell on a shitty old chair.
He wanted Ukros to joing his Customs union and ultimately got btfod with sanctions and oil crysis. I doubt he will stay in power untill end of his new term.
Jayden Allen
a large offensive would be suicide for russians, they would suffer heavy as fuck casualties. the border with russia has been fortified, hell they even fortifying around donbas as we speak. the terrain is also very complicated during spring and summer the earth becomes super muddy, you remember when the whole war started and russia rolled their tanks in? well more than 60% of those where stuck for weeks because of the mud lands. and in winter you got the problem with the snow. they get more than 2 meters of snow every winter with freezing temperatures the infrastructure is also a disadvantage. ukies can blow up their roads and railroads making it literally imposible for russia to propperly supply their troops since you cant go through mainland since you would be stuck as stated before and a full armed conflict would most likely involve poland aiding ukraine they been arming themselves to their teeth since the war in donbas started, and they said that they are doing so in case russia does not stop at the border, but we both know they will never take that risk. also only god fucking knows what they are doing with chernobil, there's been many military activity over there in the past few years.
Isaiah Morris
very heave manyamirok you have there. If russia wanted it would btfo hohol army in a week. But they would get fucked by "world community" with more sanctions and Nato presence which will ultimately suffocated Putin.
Lucas Perry
>Ukraine never had economy to support that army 40% of the heavy industry of the USSR, 60% of the USSR military industrial complex, developed aerospace complex, 40% agro-cultural enterprises, 18 nuclear reactors, etc.
Where is it all?
Daniel Perez
It doesnt matter. All of this shitty "industry" was useless gommie subsidized crap that produced GOSTed useless shit for ussr that nobody in the west in their sane mind would buy.
Jaxon Thompson
>a large offensive would be suicide for russians
Russia can't start large offensive. It's impossible. Russian army never amassed 100 - 120 000 men at once since USSR fell to invade a country. They did have 70 000 in Chechnya, but it's a different matter. They were concentrated on small territory without much resistance and didn't have to invade deeper.
Even USA can't do that alone. During invasion if Iraq, USA had to seek help of NATO and other countries to form coalition and invade Iraq. And USA has better logistics than Russia, by a mile.
>ukies can blow up their roads and railroads making it literally imposible for russia to propperly supply their troops
That would be stupid though. If Ukrainians blow up bridges, their army groups in Donbass will be encircled with no way to retreat back to Dnieper river. Russian logistics suck anyway, no need to blow up any bridges.
So does Ukrainian logistics, too. Neither side can perform any large-scale offensive on strategic level. Only operational-tactical level offensives in Donbass-size territory. Maybe a bit wider front.
Leo Sanders
>Where is it all?
ask a cypriot bank.
Eli Flores
No and No. Russians can BTFO hohols in Donbass, that's it. Anything else requires too much resources and involves giant risk, Russians won't take it.
Lincoln Campbell
if by btfo you mean close to 1 million casualties, lose half of their tanks and air support and then have 45 million possible insurgents that would guerrilla fight your ocupation for the rest of their time there, then a possible war with poland that would drag the entirety of europe with them then yes. you are delusional if you think putin can get away with taking over Ukraine.
Juan Gonzalez
I agree that cars were totally shit, but everything else is not.
Connor Peterson
A full-scale conflict between Russia and Ukraine will look like a comedy.
>Jets of both sides falling from skies because they were last repaired during Breznhev >Russian missiles hitting Ukrainian bases >Ukrainian missiles hitting random houses and hotels because they don't know how to aim >Ukrainian AA missiles hitting their own jets >Russian AA missiles hitting their own jets just like in 2008 >Ukrainian missiles blowing up before being launched because some of them were never maintained >Russian tanks breaking down the road, waiting 10 hours to be repaired because Vovan forgot to include spare-parts >Ukrainian tanks breaking down the road
It would be like 2008, but on 20x larger scale, the comedy would be priceless.
2008 itself delivered total LULZ like Russians shooting down their own jets and Georgians shooting down a fucking strategic bomber.
God, i wish Ukrops and Russkies started a full scale war, i would lose all my sides laughning at this shitshow
Chase Reed
Ukraine cant asses control over a small patch of land over donbass. They got btfod so hard they had to push for minsk.
You dont know hohols. Many people in their government and in the "east" would change skin on the fly in snakes. Russia would loose men of course but they would take Kiev with the government in it. Thing is there is absolutely no reason for it to happen. Russia is poor enough already. It doesnt need 30 more million of bydlo to feed.
Justin Martinez
So you want to say many Ukrainians care about it? Get out of here.
Brody Evans
>Ukraine cant asses control over a small patch of land over donbass
But that's totally explainable, though. Ukraine can't conduct any large scale offensive there, because border with Russia is close and Russians can directly supply rebels, plus easily enter with their own mobile army groups and encircle Ukrainians.
This is all pointless unless Ukraine has technological advantage, like Israeli army has over Syrian army, for example. Which is not happening in near future.
Nothing about Donbass conflict and Ukrainians being unable to take Donbass, has to do with large-scale war. It will be same for Russians in Ukraine, as it is for Ukrainians on Donbass.
Michael Bailey
>But what about USA and UK being so calm (besides liberals) towards Russia and turning off on Ukraine? Well, if you weren't a stupid dumbass and actually read what it said.
>Respect Belarusian, Kazakh and Ukrainian independence and sovereignty and the existing borders.[15] >Refrain from the threat or use of force against Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. >Refrain from using economic pressure on Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine in order to influence its politics. >Seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, "if Belarus/Kazakhstan/Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used". >Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Consult with one another if questions arise regarding these commitments.
USA and co did everything according to the document. It doesn't say that they have to protect Ukraine. They've gathered Security Council and they assisted Ukraine in a form of russian sanctions and financial and even military aid. What else do you want? Besides, learn what memorandum is. It's a non-binding agreement. web.archive.org/web/20140419030507/http://minsk.usembassy.gov/budapest_memorandum.html Nobody has to do anything at all. Say thanks to dumbasses like Kravchuk for not getting a proper treaty that guaranteed some real defense.
Chase Butler
>You dont know hohols lived there for 7 years mountain jews, every single time
David Parker
This war is a fucking joke. First, it's not even a real war. Total death toll is same as number of dead per year in Mexico related to drug cartels. Secondly, it's just a bunch of kikes on both sides manipulating dumb Slavs to kill each other, while continuing their dealings behind the curtains.
Nicholas Collins
Slav on Slav bitchfights are even more boring than inter-spic violence
Jose Green
No, they don't.
Nathan Parker
I'd have a little more respect for that opinion if the nationalists were doing anything more than contraband smuggling and looking cool for photographs.
James Gonzalez
Yes me too, I lived in odessa and i come from chechnya.
I was there just now in october and more than half of people would not "be insurgents" for ((poroh)). I dont like russia and putin but you need to admit that they could take kiev.
Ukranians are not "homogeneous" in their dislike for pidorahia. And many would change skin if it would benefit them.
Colton Collins
If the Russians wanted to, they could be in Kiev in two days and have the rest of the country after a week or two.
John Robinson
Post murder of Givi by DO A and death of Motorolla, the war has died down. Russian aid has solidified position. If Ukraine continues to be driving towards calamity, you will see Odessa revolt next. I have a friend who goes to school from the Donbass. No problems with travelling to and fro.
Logan Clark
Fuck off. Go discuss jews and NGO's and Oprah for president.
I'm not talking with retards that don't understand how military works.

i love you ukraine
please don't get played like pawns
Angel Thomas
Putin simply wanted a Georgian situation where Kyiv can't join NATO/EU
Caleb Scott
You don't understand how the military works
i'm a commissioned officer of the Canadian armed forces. Tell me how the rinkie dink army of the Ukraine is going stop a two prong mechanized advance from Belarus and Crimea? When their C&C posts are being obliterated by Khaliber M cruise missiles, or TOS-1 thermobaric rockets are turning the ukranians dumb enough to stand and fight into ash?
Nathaniel Green
Oh and let us not forget my Georgian friend
you guys already tried that with the Russians, you lasted, what 4 days?
Jayden Davis
>stop a two prong mechanized advance from Belarus and Crimea? >Crimea
Are you retarded? There are almost no heavy tank/mechanized forces in Crimea. Russians there have mostly navy, VDV and other light formations with a bit of tanks. Until they have Crimean bridge, situation will be like this.
Secondly, Crimea -> Ukraine crossing is too narrow and hard for large forces, they will be oliberated with tactical missile strikes and artillery/MLRS as soon as they concentrate there.
>When their C&C posts are being obliterated by Khaliber M cruise missiles
Lol. Russia doesn't have enough "Kalibrs" to do any serious damage. They are easy target for proper AA defense, the only thing that makes Cruise missiles hard to shoot down, is them flying low under radio-horizon, thus its hard to detect them.
Ukraine has special radio-location hardware to find cruise missiles, such as 40BM6 from S-300P/PT and S-300V.
Ukrainian AA concentrates S-300/Buk-M1 regiments and special AA network of radiolocation, which is protected by close-range OSA-AK/OSA-AKM and "Tunguska" systems to protect them from cruise missiles.
At least 50% of Kalibrs won't do any damage due to being shot down or failing. Failure rate of such weapons is pretty high. Also miss rates, as well.
Remember how many "Tomahawks" USA launched at Shayraat air base? Without any resistance, they still didn't do much. Russia has nowhere near as much cruise missiles as US does.
Their 100-150 Kalibrs are not enough to achieve any strategic goals.
Gabriel Reed
>Belarus
What makes you think that Lukashenko will allow to use his territory for such goal? He is not a pawn. He is politician who is friends with everyone, he makes profit from contacts with all neighbors.
Either way, Ukraine can amass 1st armoured brigade in Chernihov to parry strike from there.
Russians will most likely use Belgorod and invade from Kharkov -> Kiev route, where they will face 93rd, 92nd and 72th mechanized brigades.
They don't need Belarus for that. You have no idea what you are talking about.
