Not bad at all. I own a house, I'm married, have a stable job, and have basically no debt besides the mortgage.
Anyone who complains should try not taking $80k in student loans for a liberal arts degree next time. Or be able to pass a drug test.

Yes, it is that bad depending on various factors.
STEM degree here, took me like 10 months to find a job after graduation. I did multiple internships throughout college, good gpa, lots of skills, super active.
Still in tons of debt.
Also, a lot of my friends couldn't find work after graduation either, ended up just going for more advanced degrees, still ended up unemployed with even more debt
i'm '81 and yeah things are bad for those younger than me i have watched it all turn to shit over the last two decades.
It’s a great time to be alive actually! I had to get to a certain age, but I finally realized that my parents and grandparents were not full of shit. Listening to their advice made all the difference. The people that don’t tend to dye their hair, dress up in black and protest everything.
STEM is a meme. The only fields in there that have jobs are technology and medicine. Sciences and engineering are saturated. Math had no jobs from the start.
Very interesting.. so it is not just a false claim and whining. I just wanted to hear the perspective from actual young people.. thanks for the comments
