What the fuck is this show even about?

Watched the first episode and was wondering where it goes from there. I'm hoping it involves the characters calling out their creators for various flaws, short comings, tragedies, and whatnot and existential dread that they are naught but creations for other's entertainment. Based on images I've seen cropping up on Sup Forums, it's looking like some boring sol with a minor twist

It's actually even worse. An armored knight on horseback moving at full gallop should have easily knocked down a man on foot armed with only a stick. The fact that it didn't and then Yuya blocked her one-handed means Yuya is much, much stronger than Alecetelia.

Her entire explanation struck me as very much intertwined with her experience from her own world. It could have been an interesting direction for her to be initially seeing catastrophic, world-scale destruction where it does not exist simply because that's the kind of situation she's used to; but hime kinda ruined that by passively confirming her theory immediately after for the audience.

It's not that Hime confirmed, the base idea is from Hime in the first place. The issue is that Meteora went beyond thinking the objective would be some great destruction by overthinking the "she has some hidden intentions" parts. Maybe because she is the NPC that says that to the hero before the final boss it was in her nature.
