Strengths and weaknesses, boyo.

Manga arguably has better character designs, doesn't need to mess up the pacing (anime was limited to 12 episodes so far), and gave a greater focus on wacky misunderstandings.

Anime had a few hiccups, including the in medias res first episode, but had the best portrayal of Sonzai Eksu I've seen in an isekai. It also had great cinematography, using unique cuts and image portrayals a la Diamond is Unbreakable, as well as those great end episode omakes.

I don't know. The generals are named and based after real figures but the names came out all wrong probably due to the differences in English and Japanese phonetics. Like an English name like Adrian would come out as A-de-ri-an in Nip.

Degurechaff, Rudersdorf, and Zettour are intentionally scrambled versions of Degtyaryov, Ludendorff, and Seeckt.
