I don't see any threads about this ever on Sup Forums
Are the Republicans about to get #METOO'd this fall?
>It would take a flip of 24 seats for Dems to take over. The average loss for the president's party in his first midterm is about 32 seats, and we're hearing forecasts of 40+ losses.
No. Dems need something more then "reeeee drumpf" as a message. And they need leadership. That's not going to happen. GOP will lose 15 or so in the house, but will gain 3 to 5 in the senate.
Owen Ward
Aren't most of the seats up for relection Republican strongholds? Republicans aren't the ones pissed about Trump.
Jason Ross
Dude the Democrats have riled up every liberal in the country with "reee racist literal hitler"
Unless Trump schedules a huge event to rile up conservative outrage 3 weeks before the midterms, Republicans are gonna be pretty complacent and not gonna turn out like they did in 2016.
Republicans don't have the anti-killary motivation they had in 2016 either to boost turnout.
Carson Torres
Republicans are not the ones that suffer from low turnout in midterms. It's dems that have that problem. The only people they have riled up are the believers. The tax cut and economy will win indies and save the day.
Ayden Cook
Axios sure didn't take long to become complete shit. Such a shame too. The format was pretty good.
Justin Brooks
Trump is the best thing to happen to the Dems, deep red areas are swinging by double digit away from trumpfags
Jose Campbell
2018 is going to be a challenging year for Republicans there's no doubt about that. We need to be realistic about this instead of underestimating our opponents. Democrats are highly motivated and energized to vote. All of the elections since 2016 have shown us this. It is imperative that we organize are work hard to retain GOP control of the House. On March 13th there is a special election in Pennsylvania's 18th district. Republican Rick Saccone is a Trump Republican and he needs our support.
Brandon Moore
Nah, the Democrats will lose seats.
John Flores
they lost fucking Alabama, 2018 is going to be a bloodbath
Parker Thompson
They dodged a bullet. You have no idea how fucking retarded Roy Moore is. Take the amount of retardedness you've seen on the news and multiply it by 1000: he's even more retarded than that.
t.Alabama Republican
Isaiah Perez
literally just vote twice at every booth in your neighboring districts if you live in a no voter id state
Brayden Perez
Everyday we will be told and shown polls that say the democrats are going to win some seats and like last time the will lose.
Gabriel Murphy
>Ask people to respond >they respond >Ignore what they say and just argue with them Fuck your stupid thread. SAGE.
Nicholas Parker
Blue Wave can’t beat a Red Storm
Elijah Baker
>Dude the Democrats have riled up every liberal in the country with "reee racist literal hitler" >Unless Trump thats what they did for the last election and it did shit
Owen Thomas
Between now and the midterms, numerous Democrats and Democrat-connected people (e.g. Antifa) will be indicted by the feds for a variety of federal crimes. This is the Storm that Trump and Sessions have been working on for a year. Hillary, Huma, Mills, Lynch, and many more are in great legal peril. Hillary's classified emails, Uranium One, the Clinton Foundation, lying to the FBI, the Awan IT scandal, and possibly more will all break before November.
Remember, Trump is a showman with a sense of drama and timing. He knows the best time for the Storm to hit.
All this will have a devastating effect on the Democratic Party hopes for the mid-terms.
Ayden Richardson
/thread OP is a faggot and this thread is cancer >in all fields
Chase Cook
this. people are fucking retarded
Nolan Perry
It could very well happen.
The Democrats have no message besides "let's genocide white people", but they've riled up every cat lady and shitskin in the country.
The solution is to continue to divide the left. Berniebros and the DSA crowd act like they won't vote for any of the Dems currently running.
Henry Cook
If there are no voter ID laws, could I fly over from the UK and vote, and hire a car and vote all day around that state?
Caleb Hill
Yes. Net neutrality + trump failing to deliver his promises.
Carson Watson
I recommend you read about hegelian dialectics. The next US president will be a black transsexual.
Jaxon Powell
Republicans are going to continue the Red Tide.
The Democrats have alienated the silent majority and made enemies of the American people.
Hillary Clinton has done lasting, irreparable damage to the DNC that can never be undone. She is literally the iceberg to the DNC Titanic. She's the worst thing that ever happened to that party. She has doomed it forever.
Dominic Hill
The Republican Party has not lined up behind Trump's successful election message. They are mostly sticking to their old Mitt Romney Neocon kike shit which doesn't impress anyone in America anymore. So yes, they are going to get slaughtered. At least the Democrats have some true believers who will come out and vote for their side's kike thralls.
Jacob Powell
nice wishful thinking
Nicholas Kelly
I think that the "polls" (the Rep-Dem generic congressional ballot) will close significantly by November. Currently I think it's around Dem +10, which if you go by historic results would give the Dems the House and then some. But with the economy chugging along, the Russian investigation likely to be wrapped up by November, and the likelihood of a war with North Korea, I think Trump may have a great upswell in support which should carry the House.
Isaac Wood
Republicans have done nothing but fuck up since they got in power, so yes they're going to get destroyed this midterm election. Too bad it won't change anything.
Cameron Richardson
If they do, God doesn't exist. Prepare for the end of civilization.
Jacob Brown
You'll need to register which might be hard to get around but other than that? Pretty much. Illegals do it all the time
Samuel Cooper
In California yes
Grayson Carter
Nice painful deflection.
Here's a fact you can't refute. Clinton had the most expensive presidential campaign in political history. She had every media outlet on her side and all of Hollywood rallied in favor of her.
And she still lost.
President Donald Trump is the greatest example of the silent majority the world has ever known. The Republicans will sweep in 2018, and they'll continue the sweep in 2020.
The DNC literally has no future in America. They're a doomed party. It would be best if they just broke up and formed a new party at this point. And Hillary is still the horrible albatross around their necks that doomed them all.
Camden Green
> I don't see any threads > 140+ posts one in the catalog get rekt, faggot
Andrew Martin
It’s vitally important that they keep the house and win senate seats. If the midterms aren’t rigged by (((them))) to keep America in perpetual political shit then trump will have the support for the wall and voter ID.
Austin Davis
It's actually the Dems who need voter ID the most. That's the only way they can keep Russia from interfering with the election.
Christopher Scott
Way too much time where anything can happen between now and then but I doubt there's enough partisan hatred in enough places to flip the house. By and large he's doing what he said he would so there's no reason for trump voters to flip on him.
Carter Ward
The silent majority aint going to be a majority for much longer
Jack Wilson
Yes, uh huh. That's what you said in 2016. Deportations and a nice border wall will reshape the future of America.
Angel Miller
They did that before the election and it didn't work
Christian Ward
>OP Don’t forget to put “Sage” in the options field when responding for maximum page one visibility. Midterm victory imminent!!!
Cooper Hernandez
Wouldn't get too worked up about it, it's very likely the GOP keeps the Senate, and it's not like this Congress is capable of passing any legislation worth a damn anyways.
Trump as President with a Democrat Congress may push him further rightward, just like the GOP controlling Congress turned Obama further leftward. Unbound from the obligation to compromise (since no Democrat will compromise with Trump on anything), Trump will crack down on immigration, enact a bunch of executive orders, do basically whatever he wants within his power.
Jackson Morris
Dems are +10 on a generic ballot, which is a huge lead. Trump's personal popularity hasn't changed much, but the Republican party has been getting killed.
Aiden Fisher
People don't come out to the polls to vote against something. Voter turnout is only increased when there's something to vote for like Obama's cult of personality in 2008. Republicans still have MAGA and if the economy is still pumping in November, the election will be at worst a wash. What is the Democrat message besides Trump is either Hitler, Insane, or a Russian spy? The GOP's numbers will increase in March after the tax cuts are felt by the working class. $100 a check may not seem like much, but it's a lot for the middle class and that $100 will buy the GOP their vote.
Asher Sanchez
It's a good thing that "Generic" isn't running. Also, wasn't Hillary winning by 10 points?
Jose Rodriguez
Because the GOP voters don't want neokike shit, they want Trump Republicans that are tough on immigration and protectionism.
