Haiti – Level 3: Reconsider travel
U C

Reconsider travel to Haiti due to crime and civil unrest.

Violent crime, such as armed robbery, is common. Local police may lack the resources to respond effectively to serious criminal incidents or emergencies. Protests, tire burning, and road blockages are frequent and often spontaneous.

The U.S. government has limited ability to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens in some areas of Haiti. U.S. Embassy personnel must receive permission from the Embassy security officer to travel to some areas of Port-au-Prince. Embassy employees are discouraged, and in some instances prohibited, from walking in city neighborhoods, including Pétion Ville. After dark, Embassy personnel are prohibited from visiting establishments without secure, on-site parking. Travel outside of Port-au-Prince is prohibited after dark. Embassy employees are under a curfew from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. The use of public banks and ATMs by Embassy employees is prohibited at all times. Embassy personnel are prohibited from using any kind of public transportation throughout the country.

This is what cheer for in places like Ferguson and Baltimore. They earnestly believe that black people have been so wronged by white men that they are entitled to chimpouts. This despite the fact that whites are the only source of limiting influence expressed on the feral tendancies of the typical Negro and without whites, blacks suffer a great deal more due to the lack of law and order and social morality that defines so much of Africa and inner city America

Mud cookie

>trips o'truth
214 years after their uprising the cuisine is still baking mud
Reminds me of that other island where they wait for a thunderstorm to light a fire
Among a plethora of other reasons, but let's go ahead and blame someone else for nature

>Trumpers love the idea of vigilante justice and corporal punishment
>IE Trump and his supporters want to turn the US into a shithole

repost from last thread:

so apparently there's one place that's somewhat safe since its leased by one of the major cruise lines, and is still in use today, a (very) small port / beach called labadee.

Other than that the only other place is Jacmel, one of Haiti's largest cities, is a tourist destination according to wikipedia. But only because it still has a dozen or so French buildings still somewhat intact.

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourism_in_Haiti

its dismal, and the article is bare. Jacmel gets a worst-city entry as well, so there no.1 tourist spot is still a total shithole filled with crime.

OSAC basically says to avoid at all costs, especially its Capital city of Port-au-prince.

>osac.gov/Pages/ContentReportDetails.aspx?cid=17819

here's from the worst city article

>This is somewhere you have probably never heard of. On the Caribbean coast of Haiti 30 years ago it was a thriving tourist resort. Today the buildings are in decay, the hotels empty, the market has almost no goods to sell and the beaches are a mess. The hill sides are being deforested and all the loose soil ends up sliding down to the lowest level. Pigs run about searching through the trash and normal beach activities are impossible.. The water’s of Haiti are so over fished that even this source of protein is failing. If you want a place that is really away from it all this is for you because no one else is going there. Entertainment – the only social events seem to be funerals. All the young people have fled to find work in the capital Port au Prince and it is though that about 2,000,000 Haitians are now living in the United States. The statistics are vague as most of them are of course illegal immigrants.

Haiti isn't a shithole(It is)

>It is a special mud.
>It is like bread.

calling Haiti a shithole is almost a compliment

>The Haitian National Police's ability to assist U.S. citizens during disturbances is limited. Have your own plans for quickly exiting the shithole if necessary.

omg the US embassy is so racist, can't they see they are just perpetuating the problem?

>no no no it's special mud
>it's special mud
>it's mud
the kike is in full damage control.

the thing that annoys me the most...people that claim a superiority of understanding on the basis of spending some time somewhere...as though their lived temporary experience voids every other negative experience throughout all time, it's a kind of self centered ignorance based on false conflation of value with experience as opposed to stored knowledge accumulated from ancestors and historical accounts....people used to eat people there.....but i never saw that so it must not be true. Elevating experiential knowledge above any kind of experience that spans beyond ones own life and or time seems absurd, if i can accumulate 40 experiences that took others lifetimes to appreciate, I doubt my own experiences could ever overcome that vast sea of information by simply walking around the place for a couple days....were talking centuries if not millenniums with regard to other locales. The weight of time seems not to hold any sway with a typical lib.

More like the kids are getting a firsthand lesson in what it is like to live in a shithole.

At least Haiti is not India.

For a century the answer has been working itself out there in flesh and blood. The Negro has had his chance, a fair field, and no favor. He has had the most beautiful and fertile of the Caribbees for his own; he has had the advantage of excellent French laws; he inherited a made country, with Cap Haitien for its Paris.... Here was a wide land sown with prosperity, a land of wood, water, towns and plantations, and in the midst of it the Black man was turned loose to work out his own salvation. What has he made of the chances that were given to him?".... And at the present time? Today in Haiti we come to the real crux of the question. At the end of a hundred years of trial how does the Black man govern himself? What progress has he made? Absolutely none. (Hesketh Prichard, Where Black Rules White: A Journey Across and About Haiti, pp.280-284)

Can the negro rule himself? Is he congenitally capable? …He has had his opportunity. The opportunity has lasted for a hundred years in a splendid land which he found ready prepared for him. Yet to-day we find him with a Government which, save in the single point of force majeure, has degenerated into a farce; and as for the country itself, houses and plantations have disappeared, and where clearings once were there is now impenetrable forest. Certainly he has existed through one hundred years of internecine strife, but he has never for six consecutive months governed himself in any accepted sense of the word. To-day, and as matters stand, he certainly cannot rule himself.” (Hesketh Prichard, Where Black Rules White: A Journey Across and About Haiti, pp.280-284)
