The voice of fire
Monster girls are invading our world in massive numbers, bringing only chaos. Vigilante groups styled after Crusaders and fantasy paladins and clerics form due to lack of government response, seeking to purge the monster girls from the world in reprisal.

Our MC is a young blond man has joined his local group known as the World Guard 404. Despite his outward appearance as loyal, skilled guardsman, his secret plan is to create a harem of monster girls.

Meanwhile, a family of cute tanuki girls try crazy scams each week to make money. When they backfire, the tanuki retreat back to the forest to come up with a new scam. However, the youngest one has regrets about following her sisters' lifestyle because she has a crush on MC, though she doesn't have the courage to reveal her love due to his public persona.

However a female paladin who has been tasked with hunting down traitors has already proposed to the MC. He is also under threat from a magical ogre queen who was exiled to this new world. The pages of the ogre queen's spellbook have been scattered, leaving her weakened. She vows collect the magic pages and recruit local monsters to restore her kingdom.

>DEAS VULT girl wins

"Speed Square"

Our MC is a girl who has no interest in making friends in her new class. She is very rude, narcissistic, and also flat-chested. As a result, she often ends up breaking people's cherished possessions.

She stores damaged objects all throughout her home. These pieces of damaged furniture and other items scare her, emitting a strange aura due to their damages. She can see this aura due to the teachings of of her grandparents. They taught her that each piece of furniture and houseware should be respected. Though she desires to repair these items, she has no skills or tools.

One day, she hears a loud hammering and the whirring of power tools coming from her neighbor's backyard. When she goes to look, she sees her classmates cutting wood and building furniture. Inspired by their skills (and big boobs) she asks the other girls if they could give her guidance in the art of furniture repair.

Every day she learns the ins and outs of DIY construction and repair, and uses these skills to restore her possessions, healing the objects' auras, and as her skills grow so too does her chest.

An apprentice magical girl (male) is sent to earth to do good deeds and learn how to be a great magical girl. He hates transforming though, and tries to accomplish everything without using magic.

Zatoichi - but a 25 year old woman in modern japan.

"I Can't Love Him, But I Have To"

>MC is a shy, friendless girl who is routinely bullied by a group of mean girls who use her to run errands and make her do humiliating things.
>One day, the leader of the girls gives the MC a new game: she has to ask out a tall, obese loser guy in class. If he accepts, she has to go out with him, but if not, she faces a punishment.
>MC asks the guy out, but he runs off without an answer. Her punishment is to continually ask him out for a week until he gives an answer.
>When the MC finally corners the guy, he reveals that he ran because he couldn't believe the girl of all people would ask him out. He reveals that he's actually had a crush on her for some time but never had the courage to confess. Now that it's out, he accepts her feelings and agrees to date her.
>The MC feels extremely guilty about playing with the guy's feelings, but is also afraid of what to do if she doesn't go out with him. As a result, the MC starts to go on dates with the guy but has to do weird things and take evidence for the mean girls, such as touching his butt on a date or revealing secrets he tells her.
> As the series progresses, the MC starts to realize the guy is a nice guy and that she has a lot in common with him. Through him she's also able to make real friends and come out of her shell a bit, forcing her to confront her insecurities and her issues, especially knowing there's a chance it could all implode if she's not careful.

Phantasm, is a land that has always existed in mystery and not understood by many. The history of the land dates back to the rise of its empire made by the Emperor who united its many different lands and people together and protected it from various evils who challenge his power, until become a tyrant to keep order in society.

The Emperor was opposed by his two greatest students, the Archmages and a Knight who managed to seal him away. The two Archmages took over governing the land and the empire that was built was divided into different kingdoms with their own dynasties and representatives in the empire. The Knight who assisted them became the land's new protector and a golden age was brought forth and this continued on until the Knight and Archmages faded into legend.

Millennium have passed and the two biggest kingdoms in the empire: Old Iron Empire and the League of Dragons are at war with each other in order to promote their respective heirs as the successor to the Empire after the murder of the old Empire's dynasty who were picked by the Archmages.

The legendary Knight awakens from a deep slumber due to the bloodshed and find themselves in a brand new world as they are drawn into the Iron-Dragon War encountering new types of magic and enemies he has never met before. (Note: The only thing that made the Knight one of the strongest people in his day was the simple fact that he was very good at killing and his accelerated healing factor makes him very hard to kill. He's a fightsexual finding pleasure in war and fighting, that is all they care about and he really wants to find someone who can possibly kill him and fight them to the death.)

Behind all of this however is a cult dedicated to the revival of the Emperor and restoration of the Old Empire.

"Great Fuccboi Zoni"

MC is alpha, charismatic, an idiot and dirtpoor as fuck, so he prostitutes himself in Shibuya, JC or most of the time JK handing him dough for his company. He gets lucky if they're rich. For his pastime, he masturbates in the top floor of bookstores which is filled with H, he likes interesting manga like To Love-Ru, the only manga volumes he'd buy, he won't buy anything else, as I said he's binbo as shit. One day one JK reached out to him who was half Russian and half Japanese. She liked him so he invites him to Russia, her father was the yakuza of the Russian Mafia. Zoni don't give a shit. The wife, goddamn, was a Yamato Nadeshiko, a part of her hair side down, exposing her delicious forehead. He cucks the yakuza and fucks the wife, but he doesn't get himself found out, because he's kill. The JK founds out, she gets jealous as a tomato, drags him back to Japan. He fucks her friends but not this JK. He doesn't remember if he ever asked for her name, he did that. He get a slap and her name. Her name was Toroko. Zoni was an idiot but not retarded. After she gives him a studio room, he fucks her there. And he realized it was the greatest fuck he had ever seen. The end.

>a us soldier stationed in japan comes home from a deployment in some unnamed middle eastern country, after being one for a year.
>finds out he has a baby daughter. the mother was a japanese woman he dated before he went to the war. she died a few months after child birth from complications.
>He is now a single father.
>he battles the japanese grandparents for custody
>he quits the military and takes a civilian job on the base to giver his baby stability.
>several time skips through the girl's life
>she is teased and bullied in grade school for her white father.
>in middle school she gets all rebellious as her father marries another white american woman on the base, and feels the odd one out
>as she is about to graduate high school. her father and step mother have to move back to the states. she struggles with her dual identity. as she must decide between staying in japan or going to america.

MC is a typical high school boy who joins the Chess club, coerced by his crush, one of the most popular girls in school who also happens to be the club's president and, currently, its sole member.

He is joined by his childhood friend, a girl the same age and with a long held untold love for him, who tags along partly to spend more time together and grow closer, but also to prevent any possible romantic entanglements between the club president and the object of her affections.

And not shortly after joining the club he finds himself frequently running into his new neighbor who typically kept to herself - a girl going to an illustrious private school who now seemingly tries to find any excuse to shoehorn herself into his chess studies. Unbeknownst to our MC however, the girl is actually a savant and rising star in the world of competitive high school chess.

Our MC will dive headfirst into the world of Chess as he balances practice, high school life, competitions, and maybe even love.

However, secretly all three girls have realized that they are trapped in the world of a harem anime. Aware of the powers of plot contrivances, they seek to make MC fall for them, so that the universe itself will bend over backward to give them what they can only imagine to be a perfect life. But, they ask themselves, what scenario is the climax? A confession? A date? A kiss? More? Does the world end when the show "finishes"? The trio must work together to continually string along the MC to ensure that their own happiness, and maybe even the world itself, will continue; they will work in secret, feigning love and jealousy, and carefully plan out each degree of romantic escalation. But when True Love begins to finally blossom, will they be able to restrain themselves from capturing their King?

In Republican Year 15 (Our 1950s) on the Eurovian Continent, the Imperial Garicellian Empire declares war on the League of Republican Eurovia after the failure for peace to be obtained by the two powers.

The story is split into two side (A & B) and tells the tale of two officers.

Side A: On the side of the League of Republican Eurovia is Tiber Algerine, a magicless officer born to one of the League's Republics colonies who leads the occupying forces within the territory of the Imperial Garicellian Empire and attempts to find an understanding between the two warring states with governance. (Side-A is more focused on worldbuilding and politics.)

Side B: Then inside the Imperial Garicellian Empire is Alexander Brunhier, an officer and Imperial Mage, whose tactics and use of magic strikes fear into the forces of the League of Republican Eurovia as he expands the Empire eastward and rises in power through the ranks of the military. (Side-B is more focused on military tactics and the use of magic/difference warfare from our world and this fantasy one.)

The League of Republican Eurovia is inspired from the Second French Republic with a mix of the United States and United Kingdom thrown in..
The Imperial Garicellian Empire is inspired from Imperial Japan with a mix of the German Empire thrown in.

I've been tempted to turn this into a LN.

Tadaima! After school Pet Collective!

A short, semieducational Slice of Life show about a club who all have unusual pets. The club president is a kind of ditzy girl with an albino python. There's a super cutesy cheerleader girl with a tarantula, the genki tomboy with one of those hairless cats, a European exchange student with an emu which she rides to class, and farmer type girl with a potbellied pig named Cutlet.

Together they champion pet ownership and teach safe pet handling and training, volunteer for animal therapy events at hospitals and rest homes, and generally spread the love of all animals great and small. Each episode ends with a brief live action segment narrated by the characters showcasing a different unique animal.

A psychic girl who is the descendant of humanoid beings from the moon battles against a race of vampires who originate from ancient Egypt. The vampires drain the memories of their victims and are not weak to sunlight, which actually strengthens them because they originally drew their power from Ra, the sun god . They can only be killed by completely destroying their brains, and only under a full moon.

>a guy in high school gets in trouble with the school's delinquents.
>to get out of his situation. he must steal panties from every single one of his female class mates and his 2 female teachers. then give them to the head delinquent.
>13 girl class mates and 2 teachers. 2 cours
>an episode for every person's panty heist. some episodes to establish the story, some filler for character development, and then a 3 episode final arc as he is caught trying to get the final panties from class president and then he and the entire class' girls scheme to take down the bad guys.

"Your world is coming to an end."

That was the message sent out to everyone everywhere. That warning materialized itself to all in any way it could in a single impossible moment and with it came the knowledge that their very existences was running out of time. There was no destruction to avert, no higher power to turn to and no salvation to seek out - only the sudden and unavoidable end to it all.

To put it simply, reality was about to run out fuel. Everyone and everything ran on that fuel and now their source had run dry. One by one, things would slowly fade out of existence until there was nothing left. Someone standing right next to you could just suddenly stop for good and they'd remain motionless statues stuck in time until they were erased from the world. That was the nature of their end.

This story follows the lives of a group of people coming to grips with this quiet little apocalypse. Different people find different ways to cope with the coming end and each end came on at its own time with no way anticipate it. Some might choose to spend this remaining time together, some may seek out some last bit of hope and some simply wish to understand how and why their time is up. Reality counts down to its final moments and but only time will tell if these people made the moments up to them count.

I call this one "The Heart On A Blank Page".

"Dangerous Game"

horror/comedy(?)

Aoi is the most popular, pretty, powerful, and rich girl in school. All the girls want to be her, all the boys want to be with her.
So with that it stands to reason she gets anything she wants, and anything she can't she forces to be hers right?
Enter MC, fairly average kid with a good group of friends and even a girlfriend (good for him!)
One day MC and Aoi cross paths with MC. MC is with his girlfriend so this actually makes Aoi jealous because he genuinely cares for his girlfriend.
So in response she tries to hit on him after school to try and get what she wants, but MC actually rebuffs her.
At this point Aoi's obsession with MC begins. She does everything she can to drive MC to her.
She uses her power, influence, and manipulation to do anything to get him.
As she is continuously denied she even goes deep into Yandere territory, threatening to kill his family even kidnapping them.
It's like Yuno midway through, as she gets his friends to hate him and kills his GF.
I'm talking real deep deep shit here.

Not readfag but

Too much focus on the monster girls. The problem with all monster girl plots is that they have to do enough to distinguish themselves from MonMusu. This doesn't.

Not enough for more than a couple episodes. There needs to be additional elements to the plot otherwise the whole show is meaningless.

The male ruins everything. Don't make plots with unnecessary aspects unless it adds something.

Needs more detail. You have people who actually care to read these suggestions and faggots like me who archive the worthy, so going in depth can't hurt.

Good start but needs more to break out from the pretty girl + ugly guy cliche.

Often times people try to worldbuild as a synopsis. This is one of those. Do more to describe the plot rather than the world and you should create more interest in this as a pitch.

Feels more like a one page soap. Too forced on just one element suffering.

This one's interesting since you're combining these elements. Would like to see more on how they're balanced.

Spitting image of Alderamin. Worth it as an LN but seems like your average everyday political military thriller, which is something that I shouldn't be saying but it's an easy start to get people interested these days.

>ownership and teach safe pet handling and training, volunteer for animal therapy events at hospitals and rest homes, and generally spread the love of all animals great and small. Each episode ends with a brief live action segment narrated by the characters showcasing a different unique animal.

NHK greenlit

This isn't even a plot, just a description.

If this had more seriousness to it, it would actually work. Come back with more.

This one is also good. I think the plot should treat the situation more as a slow, regular occurrence than an immediate apocalypse to increase tension.

Also not readfag.

Sounds like a weird mesh of grizzly action and romcom.

>as her skills grow so too does her chest.
Stopped reading right there.

Sounds okay. I hope he gets into many lewd situations.

Dunno the story.

Can he not be obese? Or at the very least, can be become less obese as time progresses?

Sounds kind of cool.

Ok.

Child raising shows are always nice.

Very good twist. Would make for a good comedy.

Sounds pretty fun. I think that you should have a go at writing it. Writing is a fun hobby.

Sounds like a cute CGDCT.

Jojo?

Only really needs one cour. Would be an okay comedy.

Sounds deepish, but I would probably fall asleep halfway through.

I can already imagine the Sup Forums threads as she gets more and more yandere.

>unnecessary aspects
It's central. If the MC were a girl, she'd be less likely to reject the use of magic. He's male because that adds reason to avoid using magic and solve things in other ways.

Zatoichi - a blind masseuse that is also a master swordsman.

except in this case it would be a cake. arrives in a new town. gives massages. gets a collection of friends. cleans up all the criminals in the town.

>NTR - Netori Shoujo
When she was in her first year of middle school, MC was rejected in front of the entire class by her crush because she was too fat. Soon after, her parents moved to Mississippi, taking her with them.
Fast forward to the present and MC has returned to glorious Nippon for her 2nd year of highschool. Having lost the weight and dyed her hair blond, MC is now a sexy gal.
But alas, when she arrives at school, she discovers that she's in the same class as the boy who humiliated her when they were younger. What's more, the guy has a Yamato Nadeshiko girlfriend.
Still bearing a grudge, MC decides that the best way to have her revenge is to NTR the guy and steal his girlfriend.
Along the way, she builds a harem of other girls that she steals from their boyfriends as well as a raging lesbian who likes to tie up and dominate her.

I really don't see how the genderbender would lead to a dislike of magic.

Now it sounds something like Onihei, gonna be difficult to crank out any meaning other than a nifty historical setting. Got any deeper storyline to that plot?

>I think the plot should treat the situation more as a slow, regular occurrence than an immediate apocalypse to increase tension.
Guess I should have that more clear. The time between the warning and the very last thing to fade out might be something like 3 months and the fading out gets more pronounced down the timeline. Only those who were really lucky to still have a lot of "fuel" left would last to the very end when the color fades to white.

Like by week three an entire town might have frozen up way ahead of anywhere else and one story focuses on visitors going there to get a sneak peak of what the end will look like.

By week six it's commonplace to see people frozen in place on streets and people would start noticing that some of those that were frozen suddenly disappear.

And by week ten, the streets are empty. Even frozen people are a rare sight and those that are still moving around are finding themselves devoid of appetite. Heat has been drained out of the world too but they don't feel cold like they should.

The ending would have a pair of lovers going around town settling some personal things on their own until they meet up again at a view over the town since they wanted to wait out the end together. The guy gets there first but the girl only just misses him and she spends her last moments sitting with his frozen self self as the world whites out in front of her.

Nothing deep about it at all. Just helpless people dealing with death and no prospect of an afterlife.

MC is a high schooler and serial killer who only kills females. One day, all the ghosts of those dead girls meet and decide to haunt MC's house until he goes insane. MC, who is a pretty normal guy when he is not killing, tries to coexist with them the best he can.
However, with the passage of time, the ghost girls start falling in love with MC.

except it isn't a historical pieces.

modern japan. she hides her sword in a cane.

Four hopeless hiki/neets with no friends but each other hang out endlessly in a semi-abandoned MMO game where they all have adorable futa-loli avatars. There was a glitch in alpha where you could rapidly click the Male and Female choice button and get a combined body model, which was later patched out of the retail release. These four are the last ones on the server with the alpha glitch body type, and they like having the distinction.

One day they meet up with a very strange girl, who they save from a monster. She tells them she's from another dimension, and that she's been searching for heroes to defeat the Dark Lord of Chaos who is destroying her homeland. Thinking she's a quest NPC they agree, only to find themselves teleported to a Fantasy Kingdom by the girl, who reveals herself to be the Last Holy Fairy.

Not realizing she was in a game world, the Holy Fairy incarnates the four would-be heroes in thier game avatar modes... futa bits and all.

Now the four have to learn to use thier new bodies (not like that), control thier powers, and seduce the Evil Lord's generals. Subdue! Subdue the Evil Lord's generals. Right.

>Story of a bunch of real life weebs/otakus in a normal world
>some chapters to establish what huge fanboys they are and their characters
>some cataclysmic event happens
>suddenly they and other people have anime powers
>the powers are clearly based on established characters
>as time goes on the main cast can actually tell who among them is the MC, support, jobber, etc.
>one character realizes and proves that they themselves are in a manga and goes apeshit
>this character has the power to steal other powers
>starts killing off characters and decides he is gonna steal enough powers to either destroy the world or at least ruin the story
>main cast has to come to terms with being fictional characters and try and stop the main villain
>still on the fence on whether or not it would be a better ending to have the villain win
Well?

>I really don't see how the genderbender would lead to a dislike of magic.
>I have to transform into a girl to use magic
>I don't want to transform into a girl! OTOKO DA YO!
>I'll get this done without transforming!
It ain't rocket surgery.

In a battle of heaven against hell, the latter enacts a grand summoning ritual to tip the scales.

They end up calling in a hyper-advanced alien mining fleet which begins harvesting hell, and has begun to harvest earth as well.

user-kun is having a cheeky wank to his favourite NTR doujin one fine eve when he has a sudden aneurysm.
Taking pity upon the poor highschool NEET's soul, a passing bara god decides to grant user-kun any 3 wishes within his power.
Naturally, user-kun wishes for the following, a) to be the little girl, b) to be sent to an isekai world and c) to have awesome powers
Granting these wishes, the bara god sends user-kun on his way.

When user next awakens, he has become a loli in a fantasy world. Naturally, the first thing she does is approach a pair of middle-aged men and try to whore herself out.
However, being that this world was created by the bara god, everybody is a hugely muscled, raging homosexual. Therefore, the two men decline user-chan's offer and instead pound each other's muscular asses.
Now in despair, user-chan decides to search the entire world, looking for somebody who isn't a raging faggot.

Also, because of her third wish, user-chan can channel the bara god's power and become loli kenshiro for a brief period of time.

A nihilistic NEET who has dabbled too deeply in the dark arts was finally able to summon a Demon.

It turns out that her circles of protection was incomplete so the demon was able to penetrate it and put a stranglehold on her soul.

In order to regain her freedom and her soul, the NEET has been tasked to collect the souls of those who had failed to keep their demonic contracts.

It seemed puzzling to the NEET that the demon is unable to take the souls of the contract-breakers himself, but unbeknownst to her, the demon is too busy training and gathering his forces for an upcoming metaphysical world war.

To aid the NEET in her soul-collecting job, she has been gifted unparalleled beauty / sex appeal, as well as heightened magickal prowess that she can hone.

Will the NEET fall deeper into depravity, or somehow find a way back to normalcy?

"Ex Nihilo"
Fantasy setting, a group of adventurers are on a quest to defeat a tyrannical government by the use of prophetic instructions to gather what they need to defeat the government.
However their only instruction is to find this one guy and do whatever he wants to get him to join.
They find the guy and it is quickly shown that he is actually an outsider; One that has entered into the existence from outside of existence.
The Gods of the world object but when pressed refuse to actually fight him to stop his actions changing the destiny of mortals. (Because they don't stand a chance)

Prior to leaving the city where they found the Outsider he make them stop off at a tavern and they find a waitress. This waitress is actually the avatar (living body of a god) that belonged to a goddess of war that was killed in a fight between the gods but left her empty avatar in the mortal world. The Outsider took the empty shell and protected her and has had her working in a bar for lack of anything else to do. She has no mind or personality but has been programmed with reactions and behaviors that mimic human actions.

The party now assembled sets off with:
A literal war goddess
An outsider alien that's just fucking around with the world for fun
A high priestess that's doubting her faith when confronted with real proof that her whole religion is made up by humans and has no divine inspiration at all
A young male knight that's being tempted by the actions of the soulless goddess body
An old wizard that hates everything but is worried by the almost mirror of himself that he sees in the outsider
A young female scout that's finding herself in competition with the body of the goddess for the affection of the knight

~
The story is about the party's travels and adventures to destroy the government and the challenges involved in trying to destroy a government which is way harder than just killing the leader.

Yuri pls go.

Edgy and meta.

It's a battle shounen but with hip hop. Like 8 mile, but more ass-pulls, friendship, and fan service.

This comic, but the being sent to get the guy also doesn't really give any fucks either, so it's mostly them bumbling around having adventures that inadvertently end up doing some good in the end.

H-here I go

MC is a math teacher from a pretty well-known academy. Due to this, he has to hide the fact that he is part of an all-male cosplay circle famous for their spot on portrayal of various female characters from games and anime. One day while MC is grading some tests, he gets a text asking to "Meet at the back of the gym" along with a photo of MC posing as a vocaloid. Worried MC rushes to the gym only to be confronted by a bunch of his students. Asking where they got the photo from the lead student merely hands over more photos of MC dressed as various anime characters doing cute poses. The lead student tells MC he found the photos from a blog site and that there are more of those saved in his PC. Visibly shaken MC asks them what they want. The students all give eachother knowing looks and demand that MC follow their orders lest he wishes to have his secret exposed to the entire school thereby ending his teaching career. Unable to think of other options MC begrudgingly agrees. With this MC has to perform "favors" for his students dressed as whatever character they demand to keep his teaching job safe and his secret locked up.

I was thinking make it something that takes place over years and put your characters right in the middle of it. Society overall is able to bear the pace, so it's up to individuals to cope when their loved ones suddenly turn up frozen. Examine the mental decline and paranoia.

Sounds super gay.

Wizard from fantasy world dies of old age.
His soul reincarnates(transfers) into our modern world without magic.
Wizard's soul weakened with the lack of magic in the surrounding.
Can no longer maintain a whole body on its own.
Eventually only capable of possessing only one part of a person's body.
Rolls his dice, his soul and mind ends up in a baby boy's pOnis.
Due to the infant's still young body the Wizard's conscience only awakened after the boy got his first hard on in his 4th grade.

tldr:
Story of a boy with a dick with a mind of its own.
Shota period: Smothered over by onee-sans amused by the young child's 'very lively elephant' friend.
Teen period: Bantz of a guy and a dick about 'to dick or not to dick'.
Adult period: Guy and his dick goes on a mid-life crisis on self control being a teacher in an all girls school.

The guy is cute for a guy so its okay.

Here's a very quick plot/mini story I wrote up. I didn't proofread it, so it's definitely rough around the edges.

Chasing Echoes

MC is relatively normal high school boy, but is very introverted and doesn't have many friends. He spends most of his time at home alone on the internet reading up on theoretical physics concepts and writing sci-fi stories. He uses these stories as an escape from the mundanity of everyday life.

MC has recently moved due to his parents' work (neither are around often, so he learned to be self-sufficient early). He is trying to get used to his new home - a large old house on the outskirts of a relatively small town in the country. In the meantime, a spectacular once-in-a-lifetime event is unfolding – a large cluster of distant stars are going super-nova one after another. This event is being monitored closely not only due to the sheer beauty it creates in the night sky, but also because of the unexplained technological interference the super-novae seem to be causing. MC is relatively interested in this phenomena, but not obsessive over it (he merely keeps up to date by listening to news reports about it regularly)

MC's hopes for a quiet existence are smashed when he begins noticing strange occurrences in his home. He can hear muffled and distant talking coming from rooms in the house when he should be all alone, and he sometimes catches a glimpse of someone out of the corner of his eye or when he's looking in mirrors. Whatever this phenomenon is the MC can not say, however he begins to notice a trend - the figures he sees out of the corner of his eye and the voice he hears all seem to belong to a young girl about his age, however he can't be sure. Convinced that he is going mad or simply imagining things, he tries to ignore the occurrences, but they don't go away. As the appearances continue and begin to intensify in both frequency and scale, the MC realises that they are somehow linked to the intensity and scale of the super-novae.

At random, MC finds himself transported to a house that looks exactly like is, but seems to be occupied by a totally different family. In these random events that only last for a few minutes at a time, he catches a glimpse of what he intuitively recognizes as the person he keeps noticing out the corner of his eye – a teenage girl about his age. He always makes an effort to remain unseen, however he is sure she notices him a couple times. Whenever these events end, he always feels like he has just woken up from a dream, however he is always standing in the same place where he was on the “other side”.

One night, MC wakes at random to find himself lying on the floor of his room in the location where his bed should be... except this isn't his room. MC has been transported once again to the “other side”. The room he awakes in is the same as his own, however none of his belongings are there. Instead the room belongs to the young girl he keeps seeing in both his strange “day-dreams” and out of the corner of his eye, who he finds sleeping in a bed placed in a different location than his own. He stands over the bed looking at her sleep for a few minutes in confusion and awe. The girl wakes up from her sleep and looks at MC with eyes drunk with tiredness, unsurprised for some reason to see him standing there. She asks him a question that makes him freeze in his place - “are you the boy I keep seeing in my dreams?”. In that instant he suddenly finds himself standing back in his own room, looking over the empty patch of floor where the girls bed was, and feeling like he had just woken up from a very vivid dream.

As the intensity of the natural phenomenon continues in the background, so too does the intensity of these experiences. The MC's “journeys to the other side” now last for much longer, sometimes even an hour at a time, but the exact amount of time is random. The MC and the strange girl begin to meet at random, either in the MC's house, or when he is transported to “her side”. They are confused as to how this is happening and agree that neither of them can mention it to their parents. They realise that in both of their realities, the same astronomical phenomenon is taking place, which leads them to conclude that it is the root cause of there strange encounter. They learn to live with the random and unpredictable occurrences and encounters and over time, a close bond between the two characters forms, changing from what was originally just a confusing friendship into something more romantic. Both characters' realities begin to blur together as they are no longer able to fully tell the difference between either of their worlds. All they do is long for the random occurrences to happen so they can once again be together.

The MC notices that the occurrences are happening less frequently over the past little while and can't understand why until he remembers that they were linked to the astronomical phenomenon. He was so consumed by the occurrences that he totally forgot. To his horror he finds that the supernovae have been becoming less frequent, and it suddenly dawns on him – when this ends so too will the occurrences that allow him to see the girl he loves from what he can only conclude is a parallel dimension. In a state of heavy depression, he will declare his love to the girl from the other side.

But that opportunity never comes. The supernovae end and along with them, so do the occurrences. That one summer of unexplainable, unimaginable events comes to a close and life continues its endless march forward. The mundanity of everyday life begins to set back in when the school year starts, but MC can't forget so easily. The memories, experiences, and love are still fresh in his mind and he can't let go. His grades suffer and he becomes withdrawn from society even further, but he can't tell anyone about the girl he fell in love with from another dimension.

Right in the lowest point of the MC's depression, a new student transfers to his high-school. He can't believe his eyes – it's the girl he fell in love with. In that moment, however, he realises that she is not the same person. Yes, she may look the same and have the same name, but the person he fell in love with was the same girl from a different dimension. This girl wouldn't have the same experiences and memories as the one he fell in love with. Despite this, MC decides that he doesn't care and will try to pursue her anyway, if only to fill the hole in his heart. On her first day, MC suggests to the teacher that he allow him to help her get used to the school. The teacher agrees and introduces the girl to him. Right after MC introduces himself, she says something that makes his heart skip a beat - “I feel like I recognise you from somewhere, but I can't quite put my finger on it.”

TL;DR

Didn't seem interesting while I was reading.

That went from being a horror story to a mystery to a romantic SOL to a tragedy.
It was okay, but I don't think it would sell very well. Not enough waifus.

over summer holiday natural astronomical phenomenon cause strange unexplainable collision between two parallel realities. Happens without warning in the house of some highschool boy. Boy from one reality comes into contact with girl from another reality at random times when either he or she is "transported" temporarily to the other's reality. They both live in the "same" house, but they belong to separate dimensions. MC falls in love with the girl but realises that when the natural phenomenon end, so too will his time with the girl he loves. He decides to declare his love to the girl the next time they meet, but the occurrences stop. He dips into depression and does poorly in school until one day a transfer student that looks exactly like the girl he knew moves to the school. Of course she isn't the same girl - she is his dimension's version of the girl, but he decides to pursue her. When he introduces himself, she says "I feel like I recognise you from somewhere, but can't quite put my finger on it", suggesting that their love transcends the boundaries of reality itself. He decides to begin a relationship with this girl anew.

It's meant to be a bittersweet romance with a supernatural twist. It would probably work better as a standalone movie rather than an anime series.

the tl;dr kinda removes the emotional impact I was going for with the story, but hey - not much I can do about it.

Editor here; sorry I missed most of last thread. Let's get started.

You have a twist here (a magical girl/boy tries not to use magic), and I'm sure there are plenty of interesting stories and conflicts that it could lead to, but none given here. What were you thinking of, specifically?

It's fine to reimagine the classics, but it's not useful to just say "but X". What new material does Twist X bring that makes it worth retelling?

The bully angle feels like the core here, so it'd be good to hear more about that. Are you thinking psychological anguish, as in Aku no Hana, or more of a traditional romance with the bullies as an antagonistic force to be overcome?

I concur with the first user: you have your lore laid out like a pile of dominoes, but you've yet to line them up. It's impossible to guess where they'll fall. It starts with a desire; what does the knight want?

Nice to see you've edited since last time. It's a nice sketch of a family, but the narrative meanders. This feels like a story that really starts with the girl; the rest can come out as backstory along the way.

At first, I thought the narrative awareness twist might be awkward, but I think it'd work. Chess is the perfect motif for this sort of story, and I particularly like the "you can't capture the king" parallel. I think this still needs some work before it hits Keit-Ai's level (how do the girls first learn about their situation?), but you're pretty close. For a punning title, maybe something like Checkmates?

Military LNs have an audience, but I don't see the distinguishing feature here. You can get an alt-Europe military mishmash war story elsewhere, even in game form with Valkyria Chronicles. What's the draw here? When you've got it, I encourage you to take a go at writing it.

This sounds very plausible as one of those 5 min. shorts that roll out every season. It's honestly a very sound concept.

>there were cases when siblings hate each other
>to prevent this problem, the government made beta program for VRMMORPG to reconcile those siblings
>it backfired; instead changed the sibling to healthy relationship, it changed them to incest relationship
>the government closed this project after knowing that fact
>after 40 years worth of research, they reopen the beta program and now instead only siblings they invite all of family instead
>will this beta program fuck up like last beta program, or will it success?

Sounds stupid and contrived.

Why did the thing happen but only in his house? Why does it only sometimes happen? Oh just look how when he was going to man up and try and get his dick wet that he doesn't get the change.
Oh and the power of love transcends or some shit.

Love stories are the dullest no effort stories possible. With a few minor changes all you have is Romeo and Juliet.

Also fuck high school settings.

I'm surprised you didn't give him a magic phone so MC-kun could call his not GF on it only to find out she's in another dimension.

Like half the stories here this makes a better hentai than anime.

Boku no Weebeeboo

In this Japanese cartoon, the main character is just some kid, some regular boy, who goes to college and has a wide array of qt women begging to be his waifu 5ever. Then he gets hand-picked by his senpai for extremely elite training to operate a giant mech. During his examination for the mech operating license, he scores a 104, which makes his senpai literally choke in awe because you can only get a 100 on it. That's just how good he is.

The series ends here because it got cancelled for another season of some really weird game show that only four people watch.

11/10

How do people deal with the destruction caused by the bad guy in a world where superheroes and villains thrash around however they please?

Enter the Maintenance Society, a group of superhumans who instead of pursuing the path of heroism or villainhood decided to fix the destruction caused by the constant clash between good and evil.

Daichi Tetsura, a superhuman with the ability related to magnetism, found himself without a job after his powers destroyed appliances in a small electronics store where he was working as a clerk. Now on the verge of desperation, Daichi rushes to the first job offer given to him as a Maintainer-in-Training stuck with rebuilding Takafumi City, which is constantly battered by the Beasts of Burden, massive kaiju-like sentient creatures, and the Shugendogers, a group of local monk-themed superheroes.

I would unironically watch this, but I also don't think the Japanese have that "meta" of a grasp of literature/narrative to come up with this.

In agreement with first user again, regarding lack of story. You'll find the story in whatever the psychic girl wants to do, and why she wants to do it.

I'm a fan of this one. It's a clean concept, and with a great deal of inherent emotion. The ending you described is great. I've love to see this someday.

>Skipping a bunch of hentai/ecchi premises

"Mental breakdown upon realization of fictionality" isn't terribly fresh on its own. I think you'd need another point of appeal.

A backstory, but not a story.

You need to expand on what the soul-collecting actually entails.

Fairly complex, but the material's good. An interesting cast and an interesting goal. That said, the last sentence could use a bit of elaboration.

It sounds potentially funny, but it's hard to tell without much to go on.

This is Your Name.

I recognize this one from a few threads back, though you've made some edits. I do think this needs a goal for the plot to move forward.

Dude, include bureaucracy aspects and the inevitable corruption of the contracts these jobs entail. Like getting fights to happen in certain areas so a certain company can receive the contract, or holding areas hostage as companies work for the highest bid.

youtu.be/7idUXmb_fC0

>That said, the last sentence could use a bit of elaboration.

If your goal is to kill Hitler to defeat Nazi Germany, you might be surprised to learn that killing a dictator that has support from the population doesn't end that government.
That 'Taking the Capital' doesn't end the government and bring about some rebel victory.

The point is that the party says hey we have these two people that not even the Gods really want to fight why not just let them go in and fuck shit up, are you guys down to go in and fuck shit up? The Outsider say sure and goes in and fuck shit up but nothing changes.

Unless the leader is using some power to control everything even a dictatorship has people that are willingly following so killing the leader or the heads of government doesn't change the society.

>but it's hard to tell without much to go on
If you have ever seen the movie the Big Lebowski, this is just the pitch for the anime version.
Some guy has a destiny to save the world but he doesn't want to do it. The supernatural being sent to get him to go do it also doesn't really want to do it.
But because it is destiny it doesn't matter, literally anything they do will eventually cause the world to be saved.

So it's a comedy of two people that are succeeding by being lazy and selfish because it's their destiny to win.

Mecha's in a galactic battle between the empire and the republic but then the fighting ends when a group of female mecha pilots form an idol group uniting both sides

That works as a moral, but I meant "expand on their travels, adventures, and challenges," sorry.

As for the second, it sounds good now that you've laid it out more. Comedy is built on flawed characters.

Well the travels are what fills everything out and comes down to the length of the show. 13 eps, then you get one place, one thing, one ep 5 or 6 times.

26 then you get 4 mini arcs to follow. With some alternative views of the 'enemy' doing stuff.

52 and you get a real story with overlapping character arcs developing over time, things changing over time, likely a 1/3 getting stuff, 1/3 doing stuff, 1/3 fixing everything that wasn't actually fixed by doing stuff.

MC is a 40k/darkest dungeon/grimdark-tier dystopian witch hunter in a world where the countryside is overrun by orcs, the sewers are teeming with goblins, the forests are full of beast-men rape monsters, and the cities infested demon-worshipping cultists. While on a cleansing expedition, the MC encounters the lair of a warlock conspiring with the local abominations to create an evil gateway. His retinue manages to damage the rift but in the end requires that he sacrifice himself by destroying the portal directly, sealing his doom.

Or so he thinks. On the other end he finds himself in a more generic and storybook-esque fantasy world. After encountering (and burning down) a beastfolk village, the locals run to the aloof guardian witch and beg for help. Terribly powerful and bored, the guardian initially declines but is forced by the local gods. The two finally meet and although the witch had the upper hand, the hunter's guerilla tactics and technology prevail. Cornered but not yet defeated the witch makes the hunter an offer - if he stops indiscriminately burning everything down, she'll surrender and be his guide until he can return home. He accepts so long as she wears a seal of penitence. She also accepts, planning to blow him up afterwards, only to find the seal is very effective.

Low on money, the two adventure together and meet new allies along the way. The hunter slowly rebuilds his retinue and compassion while the aloof witch develops a sense of duty. However, throughout their journeys the monsters from the hunter's realm begin to emerge with increasing frequency. Together, the witch and hunter rally the local milk-drinking orcs, peasants, and fey to defeat the encroaching horrors.

MC is a a supervillain's henchman, however, he falls in love with one of the heroes after uncovering her true identity.
In an effort to win her over, MC uses his everyday persona as a run of the mill businessman to approach her (she is a highschool student by day) and slowly tries to win her heart.
There are many issues, however. Of course, being a villainous henchman, the MC wants to help his boss take over the world. Unfortunately, he's just a mob character, so this often results in the heroes (2 boys and the girl) beating up the MC and his comrades in troves.
There's also the problem of one of the heroes being in love with her as well, which means MC has to compete with a shounen protagonist (this often involves the MC spending money he doesn't have extravagantly).
What's more, his supervillain boss discovers MC's woes and decides to help him (completely oblivious to the fact that the girl is a hero). This often involves overly elaborate plots that only a villain could think up.
And so forth.
Eventually MC wins her over, but she discovers that he's evil and kicks his butt. Unyielding in his passion, MC asks his boss to give him superpowers so that he too can be a supervillain. After receiving awesome powers, MC goes on a crime spree in order to gain the girl's attention and romance her as they do battle.
Eventually they get married, being a husband and wife during the day, and a hero and villain during the night.

>MC lives in a little port city
>goes to buy some potatoes from the convenience store on night
>robber comes and starts holding store up at gunpoint
>police arrive
>MC tries to sneak out
>robber shoots him
>police yell "hands up dirtbag" and proceed to dogpile/beat him
>then a truck crashes into the store, crushing MC
>then a cruise liner crashes into the port, crushing MC
>then an aeroplane hits the cruise liner

>my life in another world starts from here!

(manga/ anime starts here)

Upon killing 1 of the last particularly loathsome traitors remaining, he finds the abused, now orphan daughter. He takes pity on the girl who would otherwise have been left for dead like he was. We join these 2 on their journey through this torn world to find her a new home while MC protects her from the many enemies he's made on his journey, himself, and mysterious forces who want the girl.

This is a grimdark / adult shonen style story, with dashes of happy slice of life, that make the loses all the worse, and the triumphs all the sweeter

MC is the captain of his middle school basketball team. All the guys in his school adore him, all the girls want him, and he is the star of every game. He is cocky and full of himself. He always says that basketball is his greatest passion, which is technically true, but in reality he only wants the glory. His life is set, with a scholarship to a prestigious highschool that is focused on sports.

However, everything changes a few months before his graduation from middle school, when a car accident makes him paralyzed from the waist down and wheelchair bound.

His scholarship got cancelled for obvious reasons, and his local highschool isn't wheelchair accessible, so he is sent to a school for the physically handicapped. He absolutely hates it, and feels disgusted at all the cripples, insisting to himself that he is not like THEM, and even though the doctors said he will never walk again, he will somehow get better.

All the other students take offense to his rude behavior, and he becomes an outcast (even though he convinces himself that HE is the one who rejected THEM), but one upperclassman understands that he needs help to accept his new life, so through some hijink he forces him to join the club that he manages, The Wheelchair Basketball Club.

From there the show is basically your regular sports anime, with the added theme of the MC learning to accept the others, and through that, himself. He eventually makes other friends in the club, and meets other students who participate in other handicapped sports.

The level of PC and preachy-ness can be anywhere between non-existent to PBC afterschool special.

Sounds chuuni as fuck

MC is a failed writer but once wrote some chuuni shit that he shared to a girl who loved it and drew art for him. Eventually he forgot about both her and the chuuni shit, and she killed herself.

Then she comes back to life and confronts him years later in high school, declaring that he is the "dark flame master". A school love story ensues where the MC comes to terms with both his past and his present and embraces love and his dreams.

>cripple basketball

Literally who is the audience for this?

That's kind of the point. Like the MC, the viewer is expected to think wheelchair basketball is lame, but then the show goes full sport-shonen.

>Why did the thing happen but only in his house?
I never said it did. The house is just the setting of this particular story. For all we know it could be happening in many places across the whole world. The house and its surrounding area is just one of many locations where the two dimensions are leaking into each other.

> Why does it only sometimes happen?
Why not? The occurrences are happening as a result of the natural phenomenon. The intensity of the phenomenon coincides with the intensity and frequency of the occurrences.

> Oh just look how when he was going to man up and try and get his dick wet that he doesn't get the change.
I already explained why this happens. He realizes that the natural phenomenon is ending, which makes him realise that so to will the strange occurrences. Because of this realisation, he decides he will declare his love, but by that point he's too late.

>Oh and the power of love transcends or some shit.
Admittedly that was just a cliche I tacked on the end. It's not even vital to the plot in any way.
>Love stories are the dullest no effort stories possible.
Don't treat your own personal distaste for romance stories as a valid criticism of the genre.
>Also fuck high school settings.
It doesn't have to be.

>This is Your Name.
How so?

>Guy gets lost at sea in a storm
>he wakes up in modern day Brobdingnag
>it's just like modern Japan only everyone is giant and it's decided he should attend school like any other teenager
>all the girls find the mysterious tiny transfer student adorable
>Tiny guy has to survive having a harem that could crush him if they get too affectionate.

How big are we talking here?

A romance story about a boy and a girl that only ever see each other for 6 weeks a year.
>the boy, lives with his grandparents that run an ryokan with hot springs.
>the girl, from kyoto. her parents take all their vacation time in the same mountain town, since the dad inherited his dead grandparents home there.

It starts when the children are 10 and goes to they leave for college together. each time they are together gets an episode or two. thought a few major story arcs will get 3 or 4. one of the major arcs will be about when the girl couldn't come up because of illness. so the boy goes into kyoto for the first time to see her in the hospital.

About the same size as the book so 60ft-ish?

muh dick

that twist is amazing

Kyon like journalist mc finding himself in a rut forced by the brass goes to investigate a rumored haunted mansion. A harsh skeptic of anything supernatural. The reason he actually goes instead of lying about it because of what for what he calls ''citizenship" which is a lazy excuse for being mildly interested.

After almost dying because of single misstep time freezes and he meets the ghost version of Yuuko (from xxxHolic) in exchange for saving his life, he is to repay this debt by working with her to solve various mysteries she is forced to come in contact with because Yuuko is Private detective for the dead. As for why she needs an assistant it just so happens that her last one has died and she needs someone to go physically investigate.

Now Kyon mc has to come to terms with the existence of the supernatural as he's ordered around by the beautiful, cryptic and almost always drunk Yuuko as they solve various mysteries.
