Life after (Nyaa) death

So, outside the shitty magnets shady site with 5% uptime is anything else spawning?

Where are the fansubs and HS going?

What's Nyaa?

anime is ded 4 gud
>inb4 cancerbytes

Pantsu goes down a lot but nyaarchive is up most of the time.

>what is irc
>what is xddc
You must be over 18 to post.

why not just go straight to usenet while we're at it?

>xddc
You must know actually what you're talking about to post.

There would be no more posts if that was a rule

Smug satanichia-sama!

>Nyaa
Who?

Magnets on HS.info work fine faglord.

There are plenty of sites that still work fine. Anime being dead is the latest forced meme.

>Anime alive post CR

>He's not on AnimeBytes

Who cares, just read manga instead.

>scanlators releasing 1 chapter/year
>mangatraders is dead aNd madokami is shit

I am you dumb satanichia but we need a site for the actual uploads, AB is just nyaa reuploads

Who cares, just learn Japanese instead.

>archive of Nyaa from May 1
>archive of Nyaa from May 1
>archive of Nyaa from May 1
These are all really pointless if you can't actually upload to the sites.
The archives don't help me much since I'm smart enough to download all the shit that I may want to watch down the line.

my streaming site doesn't have this problem

>We haven't heard anything from NyaaTorrents, so I think we can say with 90% 100% certainty that it's gone for good given that the domains are slated for deletion. Honestly speaking, I'm really sad. We started around the same time as NyaaTorrents and watched it grow up. The last time I talked to the owner a few months ago, he told us we would hit 1 billion+ downloads really soon. I guess we'll never find out :(

>However, some seemingly capable people have reached out to me and said they're looking to build a full NT replacement. We will wait for that, which is hopefully soon. We don't think there are any competent public anime-oriented trackers out there right now, so we will be holding off from using one. Meanwhile, you can grab our releases from this site and/or XDCC through using magnet links. We have also whipped up an RSS feed for you guys so you can subscribe to our releases. You can find it in the top navigation bar.

>Fuck. I'm really sad.

Of course Sup Forumseddit doesn't know about alternatives to nyaa.

>Sup Forumseddit doesn't know of alternatives.
>But nearly six million nips do.

The power of google and lurking.

It's a shame for sukebei.
But Nyaa's end is the best thing that happened to Sup Forums.

> that post combined with the eromanga picture
You must be cancer, my boy.

Is it possible to set up automatic download through the new HS RSS feed? I always used the makeshift method of setting up a different feed for every show through nyaa and filtering through its search bar. How do you set up a "proper" automatic download?

Fuck IRC. I stopped using it and started torrenting for a reason.

>But Nyaa's end is the best thing that happened to Sup Forums.
Yeah, countless threads about what we're gonna do without Nyaa is just what Sup Forums needed.

I'm using a combination of HS' site and Animebytes for now. Jpopsuki for music.

This is just temporary though and I'm hoping somebody can make a goddamn new tracker with Nyaa's UI instead of focusing on making Nyaa archives. That path is a fucking dead end

Friendly reminder that if you aren't already on AB you don't belong on Sup Forums.

>countless threads about what we're gonna do without Nyaa is just what Sup Forums needed.
It's only temporary until all the faggots bitching about it get their CR subscription like the braindead retards they are.

>But Nyaa's end is the best thing that happened to Sup Forums
how?

Outing all the faggots that never watched anime before 2010.

>muh anime elitism

ah, that.
I'd rather have less "anime is dead" panic mode threads.

All the redittors and normalfags that can't put in actual effort to get into AB can't easily torrent their shit anymore.
That's why you see them chimping out every time it's mentioned.

I wish they and people posting stream screenshots were public banned.

...

I'll apply in a year or so when they open their applications again. For now I'm fine anyway.

She has the devil's luck

You're on to something.
Mandatory proof of AB seeding ratios for posting on Sup Forums would improve the quality of this place by a hundredthousandsfold.

How do you do that without killing the anonymity?

Newfags don't care about anonymity.

You don't which makes it a bad idea. People need to report blatant newfags and stop spoonfeeding.

AB is shit, there's a couple of public trackers dedicated to anime that are just as good.

I don't know user. That would require some form of account on here and linking it to AB. Both of those sound reddit as fuck

What's wrong with just insult, sage and report?

Fox, grapes, etc.

So this is a thing that would benefit newfags?

Newfags with AB accounts.

Give back the porn holy shit

Maybe like how Sup Forums pass is done.
Anyone who's not already on AB simply can't post on Sup Forums, like those who don't have a pass can't post on /vip/.
No need for accounts or to fuck with anonymity inside the board itself.

Just use the MAL forum, holy shit.

Nah, fuck that. Sup Forums needs to be its own thing, not the imageboard division of a private tracker.

Yeah, it's obviously not gonna happen, I was just thinking it would improve the level of discussion if we got rid of all the redittors and normalfags who can't get into AB.

Or instead of turning this place into MAL, why not you know, just start publicly banning anyone who shills Crunchyroll in here?
Just enforcing the Marketing/Ad spamming rule would be nice.

Probably not. Being a user of a particular private tracker is not a guarantee of being capable of decent discussion, and not being a user of it doesn't necessarily mean being incapable of decent discussion. All it'd really do is reduce overall user numbers.

Getting subs isn't a problem, and even raws for anime isn't that hard. It's just a bit of an inconvenience to go around multiple sites to get what you want. Anyway, it's only a matter of time before we get a successor site to nyaa.

Why should I not use :^)CC, Sup Forums?

>implying
There are shittons of alternative for torrenting anime, even old ones, as said many times the real problem is sukebei.

too lazy for that desu.

XDCC is much faster than torrents anyway.

What channels/bots do you use for oldschool stuff? What about movie releases and BDs besides ones being released by certain groups?

Also you don't have to wait for the download to finish before you can start watching as it downloads progressively

I've never seen that as much of an advantage; most of the time I log into my home PC by remote while I'm at work to set downloads going so I've got a bunch of things ready to go when I get home.

>Muh AB
I can get everything there trough other channels.

Too bad sukebei is gome though. It would be a different mayter if AB would substitute it but it doesnt

WHERE IS THE SUKEBEI REPLACEMENT THOUGH

I only used Nyaa for my 6TB archive. I'm not really concerned since there will be clones sooner or later. It's Sukebei and those fuck loads of songs that's been lost forever that's heart breaking.

You can do the same with torrents.

AB has 16k users, Sup Forums like 30 times that. If you want to only talk to AB users go to their forums.

Only because most people are using torrents. Servers have limited bandwidth if everyone switched to XDCC you would be waiting much longer. By promoting XDCC you are working against your own interests.

>XD
Fuck off.

>much faster
I rarely ever find anything that goes over 3mb/s.

Fucking really baited hard here.
4/10 made me reply.

I miss quickly googling [anime show] bakabt and having whole series downloaded in 10min. I miss looking up obscure shit on nyaa and finding that someone is still seeding it. I miss not having to worry about upload ratio and getting invites for some super secret elitist website. Internet gets worse and worse every fucking year.

It's not quite as convenient as before, but things are still going fine if you know the right addresses.

because irc is free.

Tokyo Toshokan was available before 2010.

Kek

>IRC

What is this, fucking 1998?

what would you do if it was?

This is actually very good for the industry, now maybe you kids will learn to use crunchyroll and other legal sites.

>I'm the final seeder on some torrents and my upload speed is third world tier

Build a wall around the world trade center.

Are you seeding anything of value?

Fuck that. When I want to pay for it, I buy DVDs and Blu-rays.

You can really tell who the newfags are when nyaa died.
Everyone who's not an idiot who's been watching anime for a while knows where to get shit and no, it's not private trackers.

They can be bought from DLsite so they won't be lost to time.

Tbh anime is shit anyways let's talk about the real problem here

Where the FUCK do we get eroges and hentai anime from now that sukebei is dead?

Is pantsu just going to be an archive or will they allow new torrents to be uploaded eventually?

The archive will presumably be incorporated into a new site. HS plan one.

Thats good, you know what country its getting hosted in?

>not giving in to normalfagism and using kissanime

I didn't get what all the drama was about and I still have no idea.
I just do what I always do. I go to TT or HS, click the link and it starts downloading. 2-5 minutes later, the download is done. What are people getting so worked up for?

>there are still people not using shsnaproject

*shanaproject

>he doesn't have access to a private tracker

Feels good to be part of the Bakabt masterrace and not a plebeian faggot like yourself

>bakaBT has ben down for a week
Feels good to be on Animebytes and away from shitters like yourself.

>people blame HS for killing fansubs
>HS is literally keeping anime alive after Nyaa died
Apologize

>Animebytes not going down next
Remember not to put all your eggs in one basket, user!

Just use XDCC and extrapajeettorrent desu mi familia.

> XD
Kill yourself.
