It wasn't a game

>it wasn't a game
>it was a warning

>and Japan didn't listen

Reminder that although Marche destroyed all the Totemas and defeated the Li-Grim, so long as Mewt wished for the world to continue to exist as Ivalice, the Li-Grim would make it so.

It was only through Marche convincing his friends that reality doesn't actually suck that bad and through their friendship and introspection could everyone find new perspective on their problems and overcome them. After all, Marche too would lose all that he was granted when the dream of Ivalice was cast upon the world, but he knew that he didn't have to face it alone.

Marche is the hero we need.

So FFTA is the Evangelion of video games?

More like the End of Evangelion when everyone turned into Fanta and Crush

I want a pizza cutter sword!

Or at least FFT/+A for PC legally

So why did Marche want to go back to the real world again?

FFTA is the Dark Souls of Evangelion video games.

...

Marche
>Wanted more attention and care from his parents, was jealous of all the attention his crippled brother got

Doned
>Fucking crippled, confined to a wheelchair for the foreseeable future, jealous of his brother's ability to go out and play instead of being cooped up inside

Ritz
>Unnatural hair color, dyed it pink to avoid the bullying

Mewt
>Couldn't get over the loss of his mother

Everyone but Ritz had ACTUAL problems. And Marche is lucky Doned didn't off him at one of the Jagds. Would he have cared so much about going home if his brother had the Li-Grim? I really don't think he would.

Because he realized that everybody was using the fantasy world as permanent escapism to avoid dealing with their problems, including him. It's an unhealthy mentality that wouldn't have allowed anyone to grow as people, and he was determined to not let it happen.

Go break your brother's legs again.

Isn't it weird that even though it would've been the same exact game, it would've probably received worse reviews and people would've hated it even more if it were released this year?

People would probably be having a giant shitstorm like
>Wew Square jumping into the isekai train? Fucking jews

FFT > FFTA

RIP Delita Von Lohengramm

...

Judging by how much of an asshole Doned was once he got his legs, I say give him the Huey Emmerich treatment.

>Mewt and friends base their Ivalice off their favorite video game, FFT
>FFTA2 stars Luso, who goes to the real Ivalice using Mewt's Gran Grimoire
>Luso also appears in the FFT remake, War of the Lions, which is set in the future of FFTA2's Ivalice setting
That's some recursive shit right here

>tfw you will never molest and gently rape Doned while Marche watches.

>Marche means walk in french

It was a game and everyone in this thread needs to go back

Who the fuck brings back the shitty world we live in because of that? Self realization is good and all, but can't they just solve their issues there? Is it really needed to fuck everyone over? Magic exists there for fuck's sake. Unless you fuck around in jagds you're practically guaranteed to die of old age. It's not like he knew the deal with the end boss.
Saying 'go solve your issues in the real world' sounded like petty revenge against his brother. It's not like he got abandoned by his parents either. Of course they're going to care more for his brother since he's crippled.

Also don't understimate Japan's bullying. Years of anime should have taught you already how fucked up can the little bastards be.

>Self realization is good and all, but can't they just solve their issues there?
That's the thing though, they weren't. Mewt was sticking his fingers in his ears and creating minions to enforce his daily law changes, Doned used his mobility to send assassins at his brother, Cid had no idea he was brainwashed and sided with Marche once he regained his memory, and Ritz pretended nothing was ever wrong until the very end, where she did manage to get a fresh perspective.

The point was it was a fantasy, and despite how fun it was everyone was using it as an excuse to run away from their problems. Even Marche had to face that he was unathletic and weak, unpopular, and spiteful and jealous of his brother. Shit that he'd have to go back to, but he realized he couldn't run away from forever.

He sent assassins after him because he was trying to destroy everything. I can't but side with Doned here. Being a cripple is not just any issue. Say if you became blind and after years of suffering suddenly the world changed and you could see again. Would you just let anyone to take your sight away from you again just because 'it's not the right thing'?

Sure Marche had issues but they were nothing compared to a fucking dead parent or being crippled for life.
