Why is Maritime Canada and the US perfect?

>Gyppos.

Pop music owned by 3 companies. Vivendi (Universal) - french
Sony - Japanese
Warner (Access Industries) -Russian Oligarch

Radio stations are almost all owned by iHeartMedia (formerly clearchannel) and other corrupt music corporations. Owned by Mitt Romney's company Bain Financial.

Do you wonder why the top songs are all shit? here's the key.

Company produces shit
Tells shit radio stations that work in conspiracy with big three to only play shit
????
Hey we're the top song this time!

"Havana" Writers: Camila Cabello Jeffrey Williams Adam Feeney Brittany Hazzard Ali Tamposi Brian Lee Andrew Watt Pharrell Williams Louis Bell Kaan Gunesberk
Epic records owned by Sony.

"Gucci Gang" Writers: Gazzy Garcia Brenden Murray Gerrell Nealy
(not suprising there are only three, rap is easy to make and profitable, that is why the Jews like Lyor Cohen love pushing it)
Owned by warner.

Music is forced on the ignorant masses, not organically enjoyed.

"Perfect by Ed Sheeran owned by Atlantic (Warner)
Let's play guess the chord progression o this one! I'll give you a hint, it's the same basic chord progression as every other pop song (It's I VI IV V)

Okay, how about "Rockstar by Post Malone?
Republic records, owned by Universal.

É Zonba

Classic rock sucks.

screencapped. well worded, good sir
>Music is forced on the ignorant masses, not organically enjoyed.

>pop music

Since the internet is a thing, pop music as played on popular radio is nothing more than background noise.

>spanish speaking countries prefer the song with spanish in it

what a fucking suprise and what a useful thread

I'm not a fan of it either. Classic rock was also subject to the big corporations, though that was before the big three. Back then there was between 8 and 20 competing for the top labels (depending on what time frame you're looking at). It ended up being 5 and then consolidated into 3 as the big fish ate the small fish with the help of the US government.

Most classic rock (and country) is owned by these corporations now.

I am a classical guitarist, so I mostly listen to public domain or naxos recordings. And I almost only listen to instrumental music in the
contemporary sense. (Animals as Leaders, Snarky Puppy, Tigran Hamasyan, etc. to give a little variety)

*Public domain, naxos, or individual composers and performers (usually independent) and mainly through their own youtube channels

Thanks, music is as much weaponized culture as any Hollywood propaganda film, and it's more destructive.

youtube.com/watch?v=M4vbJQ-MrKo

You could take 90% of music by The Beatles, throw it on the radio, and it will instantly be better than anything else playing.

I'd agree with that.
Beatles music is actually much more complex than most people realize.

youtube.com/watch?v=uLRiGX3L-kw

This is now The Beatles thread

are you trying to imply that's bad or something? It's a good song. Shut the hell up.

trashy people listen to the top 10 radio all day, everyday

youtube.com/watch?v=UelDrZ1aFeY

Something in the way she moves meeeee.. I don't want to leave her now, you know I believe in hell.

I'm not even being edgy but holy shit do normies have shit taste in music.

wait a second.... Is this where Sublime got their vocal melody? youtu.be/T0EXzv3CfKE

they also buy shitloads of copies to make them hit top chart faster, in smaller markets it´s so easy to do that you only need to buy a few thousands

oops copied the wrong song, I meant this one youtu.be/0Uc3ZrmhDN4

Exactly, I wonder what the pop music landscape would look like if these corporations didn't flood the markets and drown all the talented people out

This is a slide thread, but it is definitely political. Mass Music is a means of propaganda in which to instill habits, thoughts, and vices in the public.

Why do you think the French intellectuals (deconstructionists etc.)were obsessed with the way language is used? Because the way people talk influences the way they think about things. Music (all pop music is vocal centric) makes slight changes to the language used by the culture.
The medium is the message.
The ways in which we communicate partially determine the content of that communication.

Overall all would win conscienss, but i´d wager blacks would benefit the most. thug and guetto music fucked them up

youtube.com/watch?v=_1PcOsbJbLI

Good example, languages protect the nations, every barrier is there for a reason.

I think so too, I've had a few friends growing up that got addicted to drugs and fucked their lives up after they started listening to that trash music.

That song is a great example.

>Music is forced on the ignorant masses, not organically enjoyed.
This. I don't use "background music" like most people, I tend to sit still and listen to music and focus on it, and I can't listen to anything from the top charts.

Honestly, that shit actually sounds like programmed subliminal messaging, I don't know why, it just seems to lack any human emotion and motivation behind it that music is supposed to.

I have been listening to classical music for couple of years now actively, and I think it has been a great big positive influence in my life. 5/5 would recommend.

There certainly is programmed subliminal messaging.
"Classical" is best, though hard to get into because it requires much more attention and imagination than most people are used to giving to music. Also, it is hard to find which artists you like best at first. Ex. Would you rather listen to Debussy, Bach, Prokofiev, Chopin, Dvorak, or Shostakovich?
It is a huge world and much of the music has still never been properly recorded ( currently working on an unknown fugue by Clara Schumann that was transcribed by Tarrega and does not show up on either's list of known works.

It's sad that so many see classical music as snobbery. Music appreciation and examination in general is usually derided. People need to preserve and examine their wonderful cultural heritages, like a beautiful renaissance painting is valued, so should music be valued and contemplated.

you sound very autistic but i believe you

am i cucked for listening to sinatra and 40s music in general?
dean martin
vera lynn etc..

>good sir

i hate it when i see non shitskin girls listening to regeton and all that subhuman mestizomierda shitty "music" i wanna fucking strangle them fucks sake
i hate all modern music but i wouldnt have a problem if they listened to say... Skillet or w/e the fuck, anything but mestizomierda """music""
they all like balbin, ozuna, marama, abel pintos, all mestizomierdas who sing about being slut and cheating on your bf, getting drunk etc.

I don't think so. The American Songbook of Jazz Standards is great stuff mostly.

Yup, people driving down the street blasting "listen to a black man talk in slow motion" gutterrap. They're like peacocks.

what's some good sinatra tier music?

whoa thanks user

the thanks is for all your posts

He took me back to East Atlanta
Because it rhymes with Havana

Criminal... sounds about right..

>popular in the moment = good
>popular in the moment = popular overtime

Go look up some of the top hits in the 60’s and 70’s when music was “good” vs what music we will listen too from those days

One of my favorites is Bill Evans, pianist.
Waltz for Debby is amazing and I think there is a good version with tony bennett out there.

Thanks, I almost never post on the internet, so I appreciate it that I could contribute something

not really my kind of jazz
i like it grand and loud
this is the kind snobs like

East Atlanta 57% black, on of the blackest cities in the US. Not an accident.

I'm not the best person to ask about that style of music. My expertise is in classical. Only the snobbiest stuff.
I'll try again though, Gershwin?

>Animals as Leaders
You ever heard of Northlane?

compare that song to new york from sinatra
one is loud and bombastic while the other is slow and calm
youtube.com/watch?v=eFHdRkeEnpM
i guess it's because he writes it like a opera or whatever
you get what i mean
