I think Japan should not teach Japanese as native language in school There are three reasons I think so
Learning Japanese is useless in global era. Japanese is not relevant in global society. There are few non-Japanese who speak Japanese as second language. otherwise, 20% of world population can speak English as native or second language. Why should we teach ineffective language in school?
second point is, its ineffective style to convey infomation. Kanji is well known as difficiulty to learn for non-native Japanese speaker. I have never felt difficult to write or understand kanji. But if we spent more time on learning something rather than memorizing kanji, we should have performed better than anyone else.
final point is, it sound disgusting. Japanese language sounds horrible compared with English. It's not for sophiscated or cultural materials. WIth Japanese, we can't have decent culture.
therefore we should not teach Japanese in school. period.
