Can't speak for anyone else but his design is really awesome. I love his moves and how savage he is. He's a big dude that you expect to be slow as fuck but then this man is moving like Ali and headslipping punches.
It also helps that he gets all sorts of fancy powerups in the games and everything. He's probably my favorite DBZ character after Gohan.

GT stuff is pretty popular, even if the show was pretty bad. Transformations, designs, characters. The video games allow all of the timelines and stuff to cross over, so there's no reason not to add it.
