Personal favourite manga

ITT: Manga that you consider to be the best.
nothing objective about it, just you personal favourites.
Bonus points if it doesn't have an anime adaptation (yet)
>i know it's stupid but I really enjoy Tejina senpai

I really need more of this.

garfield

Golden Kamuy is a comfy masterpiece.
It´s like Dungeon Meshi, but with a slightly more psychotic Laius.

Cant wait for Hime x tomboy yuri to kick in

Bad ending, great journey

1. Kaguya wants to be confessed to
2. The New Gate
3. Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu

That's my top 3, although 2 and 3 are a little biased because I'm an isekai fag

Hinamatsuri

Thanks for the recommendations, guys.

Pluto

Ongoing would be Golden Kamuy, Dungeon Meshi or Chio-chan since they are pretty fun reads.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou. Makes me feel good and allows forget for a moment about my shit life.

Midori days.
Loved the characters and the last few chapters almost made me cry. It was a great mix of action and romance. And chibi Midori was too cute.

I desperately want a sequal manga showing what happens once/if they get back to the mainland

Why are manga threads so rare anyways?

garfield

Sumire 16

There are weekly/monthly threads for specific manga, some like Kingdom/Golden Kamuy don't get constant threads on release but get a big thread every once in a while. Maybe people don't want to ruin discussion by talking about the same shit too much.

This one was fun. I like how hideous some of the extra characters are, like the women in the store or the American scientists.

Patrician taste

...

...

The new North american volumes of Nichijou! I'm really surprised how well a lot of translations have turned out!

This manga was a pleasant surprise. So far nothing has topped it yet.

most favorites of mine either is not finished or ended badly

I think this is the only series I loved from beginning to end.

...

I wish the arc of this manga were to last longer

This and Medaka box

best comic in the world right now

golden kamuy is shit
dont compare it to the masterpiece that is dungeon meshi

...

If anyone says Tomo-Chan, you can fuck the right off back to plebbit. Jesus Christ that manga is retarded.

I NEED MORE

Because most manga aren't released and translated as regularly as anime.
There are also many that don't get translated at all.

Romsen Saga is really fucking good

Best manga & best cast of characters I've ever come across.

Teppu

Pic related for comedy and feels.
Vinland Saga for edginess.
Innocent for GAR.

You've got quality fucking taste, user.

sauce on pic?

I can't enjoy a manga where someone genuinely trying their best has nothing but bad things happen to her.

Space Brothers

brothers something, the anime was a few seasons ago

Considering something to be the best and something to be your favorite can be very different things.

My favorite, Taiyou no Ie, is honestly a ways from the best I've read.

20th Century Boys

>Helck
>Dungeon Meshi
>Grand Blue
>Kaguya
>Kumo desu ga, nani ka?
My top 5 right now. Helck is the only manga in recent memory that's managed to someone as jaded and calloused as me shed a tear.

>the anime was a few seasons ago
user, the anime started five years ago and ended three years ago.

Assuming you mean overall manga threads (not for specific series, the "what are you reading" kind), they were partially chased out by overzealous mods years ago (because rec threads), partially suffered from declining manga powerlevels/discussion on Sup Forums in general, and partially pushed out by cancerous OPTs. There was another yesterday, but it was in the dead hours and died with barely any replies.

>user, the anime started five years ago and ended three years ago.
christ where does the time go

That manga was comfy af

Berserk
>Bonus points if it doesn't have an anime adaptation
Grand Blue

do you read the LN for kumo?

one of my personal faves.

There's an anime but it's only 10 episodes (+1 OVA) and the studio teased the fuck out of everyone by making a fully animated PV just for the last volume.

Doesn't help that the localized manga is farther than the scanlations. I'll have to wait till august to finish it. No offence to BloodL

>Doesn't help that the localized manga is farther than the scanlations.
Wait, really? I might try and look that up then. It got pretty bad a while ago but I figured I might as well finish it.

That looks kind of trite desu

Source?

Alita. The original series only, of course.

For more than two decades, since I was a kid buying the crappy jp->en->es translations we had back then.

Currently enjoying Youjo Senki the most. I'm not really interested in the war but loli+misunderstandings make this a masterpiece.

Yeah user it's up to Ch 80 out of 85. Last volume comes out this august

>It got pretty bad a while ago
not saying i disagree but what do you mean?

>Dungeon Meshi
>Note: Nominated for the 9th Manga Taisho Award in 2016.

>Golden Kamui
>Note: Won the 9th Manga Taisho Award in 2016

fix your shit taste newfag

It seemed like it'd be a sort of interesting series, and it kind of is, at least until after what the anime adapts.

They go see his brother, then the stitched together guy, then it turns out the wolf king was a good guy all along and it was a misunderstanding, and then they revived the dad I think but then he died again? I don't remember it's been a while since I caught up

Anyway it didn't really go anywhere and it's a pretty big put off to me that the stitched together guy is the only actual antagonist the series ever had, though I do admit that's kind of a nitpick.

I've seen a few spoilers, but I'm enjoying the pace of the manga right now. If it goes downhill or I get impatient I might

Some people don't like how it changes after she leaves the labyrinth but I still think it's really good.

There hasn't been an update in ages though, since they're working on porting the WN to LN

Probably this.

Those isekai are horrendous. The blackhaired elf on The New Gate is FUCKING HOT though.

Kaguya-sama is the best romcom in years, period.

Can someone explain to me what do they like about this manga? I'm genuinely curious, I feel that it goes way out of its way to show and explain ainu shit. Almost feels like a cooking manga sometimes.

>awards mean you're wrong and a newfag

Why no new scans recently?

/fit/ kino with qts

forgot pic

>kino
Fuck off and kill yourself, crossboarding piece of shit.

This was one of the most enjoyable manga I've read but I think my top choice would go to Takemitsu Zamurai

Silver Spoon is pic related for me.

He doesn't watch anime kino
also nice try but been on Sup Forums since 2007 and tv since 2012

Shinozaki-san

Anybody know what happened to the translations for this?

Is this still a series in which nothing happens repeatedly?

If you ask me, grand blue really is one of the best things running right now.

I'm pretty much only reading those isekais because of Tiera, Tomoe, and Mio

Ctrl+F: no Blame!

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan
Gokusen
Silver Spoon
sesuji wo pin!to shikakou kyougi dance-bu
jitsu wa watashi wa
monmusu
Komi-san wa komyusho desu
fujiyama-san wa shishunki

Had fun with this one.

oh hell yes. Usa-kun and the group home of insane autists from hell.

but my favorite is Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer

fuck i love this one, good taste

Overated

This shit is a gold mine, also Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer is pretty good.

The stretching manga

It's a lot more porn than I was expecting. I'll probably continue to read it for a little while though

The author has never failed to disappoint me, except for every ending he makes, and his stories always have the cutest most innocent looking 10/10 girls with different characteristics.

These are the ones I await with impatience

1. Tsurezure Children
2. Karakai Jouzu Takagi-san
3. Kaguya wants to be confessed to
4. Munou Telepathy
5. Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!

>4. Mousou Telepathy
>5. Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!
Good tastes.

and a number of translated Touhou doujin; also reading some other manga, and procrastinating beginning some others.

Nickelodeon. Sayman's really good at weaving fun stories that get cancelled.
Also Kimi no Iru Machi, but I have to because my waifu's from there.

1. Molester Man
2. Medaka Box

polystyrene sister is amazingly absurd

i wish st&rs didn't turn to shit, i liked the idea of smart kids in space school but then it fucked it up. used to be my favourite when it was still coming out

I'm kinda pleb when it comes to manga.

Shonen: Kimetsu
Seinen: Dungeon Meshi
Isekai: Youjo Senki
Comedy: Grand Blue
Sports:
"Sports": Danberu nan Kiro
Waiting for it to finish: Dorohedoro

annoyingly accurate

>Shonen / Seinen
>Isekai / Comedy / Sports
What. You realize these are overlapping, right?

Huge romance and a bit NTR fag so:
>Domestic Na Kanojo
>Koi to Uso
>Maga Tsuki
>Kin no Kanojo, Gin no Kanojo
>Jitsu wa, Watashi wa
>Kimi no Iru Machi
>Yomeiro Choice

for other genre:
>Youkai Shoujo - Monsuga
>Upotte
>Okusama ga Seito Kaichou
>Monsuta Musume
>Yuru Yuri
>Muranase! Shiiton Gakuen

I enjoyed the characters and the story just shame about the ending though.

Ran to Haiiro no Sekai, a fun story with great art.
