Personally I would prefer a game where you collect friends where you get to build up a team of different kinds of friends and make a team of your favourite friends all maxed out in the end sort of like what I did in Puzzles and Dragons (Carbuncles for life).

It's okay for KF, but it's not okay for everything. Kemono Friends is blessed with lenient rights holders. Say, you tried to make a Kancolle fangame, for instance. I hear you're shit outta luck on that front, though good riddance because kancolle is garbage.
