Only think Kazuya needs to pull out a win right now is to be let into the ring. He's quite probably by far the strongest exorcist in the school right now, only ones who might match him are muscle dude and the mysterious fox mask, and this only because he doesn't have Kiriha.

I'm guessing just because the usual way these stories work. 3 fights left, one of the good guys will lose, another will squeak out a victory, and it will be down to Kazuya who is hampered because of trickery by the big-bad. Having the reveal that they rused him with false info allowing Kazuya to win would follow standard narrative form.
Of course, this is the manga that killed off two major characters long enough ago that you wonder if they're permadead.
I hope the author pulls no bullshit, we all want to see Kazuya wipe the floor with Madara.
Depends on how well he links with Flute. He's excellent in hand to hand, as we've seen, but he'll still need a good sync with his partner to get things done in earnest. All the muscle weave stuff to enhance his strength and speed don't seem to be available with flute. All he could do with flute on a physical level is jam it into his rear and then run straighter.
Right now he's strong enough he could probably win barehanded, especially with how he's channeling Kanaka recently and how much the Madara faction is pissing him off.
I'm sure he's gonna pull out some badass flute moves though.

Her face design is surprisingly simple, but with Hamada's fetish (and crazy skills) for drawing detailed clothing textures, the composition looks a bit odd
I guess "physical" was badly worded by me. What I meant is that Kazuya, so far, has been mostly about enhancing his own body to fight better. I don't really see flute usable in that sort of fighting style, so it'll be somewhat uncommon territory for him.
