start with SDF, after that watch DYRL.
Then Plus, either OVA or movie version, I watched both personally.
Then You want to watch 7, this is the most complex, there is the original series, some OVAs, a movie, some short mini episodes, and finally a sequel OVA series, Dynamite 7
Next is Macross 0
Now you are ready for Frontier, tv series, then watch the movies.
Now you just have Delta left.

Also there is Macross II, its non-conan but I enjoyed it
