Code Geass R3

Code Geass season 3/R3 is coming soon. For me, as a fan of Code Geass, I'm quite excited, but still, part of me wonders if there's a need for season 3. What do you guys think about it. We already know Lelouch's gonna return in R3 but aside from that, we have little to no idea what's gonna happen.

I'm also excited just because its more code geass content, but honestly season 2 ended so perfectly that I never felt a season 3 was necessary. I really hope this isn't just a cash grab, but if it sucks I just won't consider it cannon I guess and I'll just enjoy the fact that it's more cg content.

Funny because I'm in the camp that believes R2 wasn't necessary.

Valvrave proved to me you can still have a whacky (but genuinely entertaining) political mech show. I just how it's more VVV and less Buddy Complex.

I hope that Sunrise leaves Taniguchi alone, and allows him to use some of his original R2 ideas.

I'm really excited. I know anime has a bad history with sequels released years after the end of the original series, but I love code geass so much I can't imagine how shitty it would have to be to disappoint me

Watch lelouch and cc not play a major role in this season and it's more about suzaku and the world solving it's own problems without lelouch.
