It was huge in any spanish speaking country

Why was it not popular in English speaking counties?

>the United States of America constitutes the entirety of the west.

Probably shitty dubs, like all american dubs

t. pablo

It came to the States 20 years too late, and dub by DiC.

If I recall, the USA got an extremely censored version to the point entire plot points and characters were changed.

The US IS THE WEST in all its Anglo-judaic glory.

It was Dubbed by DiC and was heavily edited here in the States. So yeah, it was dead on arrival.

>Not liking surfer bro Hyoga

Talk about having shit taste.

>Why was Saint Seiya never big in the west?

Is this a fucking joke ?

The only joke here is your country, Pedro.

It's kind of gay. Kind of really gay. I mean really kind of super gay.

Never came in France

becuse LGBT hates in west

>Oh no, anime gay, unacceptable
>Support lgbtqrsasdfg or you are a fucking bigot.
I fucking hate the west "mentality".

There's nothing gay about wanting to fuck Shun.

It still had some pretty good semen demons in it.

Frankly I preferred Ronin Warriors

This guy gets it.

In italy was a huge hit

SONO I CAVALIERI DELLO ZODIAAAACO

It was huge in Europe

Because this.

Where can I read the saint seiya manga?

Jesus Fuck I know the market for these shows is boys but do they always have to be such sausage fests

Are you fucking retarded?

kissmanga has it

Because it's not that good

It's fucking ginormous in Brazil. Close seconds are France and spiccies.

It was big in every country except Burgerland because it came out too late, had the shittiest dub in the history of dubbing, a terrible cover of I Ran as the intro and was censored all over.

Also there's too much filler until the 12 temples arc.

Because there was better animes. Saint Seiya plot is kinda slow paced and melodramatic. Other countries had way more options on anime. Your spices keep overrating this serie really too much.
The anime is good but isn't that great. Yuyu Hakusho was way better and popular in the entire west.

Brazilians are spicies too, senpai

Well, no. They use another language, which happens to be not as melodramatic.

Brazilians don't speak Spanish. You mean latino.

>Saint Seiya isn't that great
say that to my face and not online

20 years is a lot of time m8

It was big in France user

Because it came out too late. Saint Seiya aired from 86 to 89 in Japan, but only came out in America by 2003. You don't see any retro show that doesn't have nostalgia attached to it blowing up like that.

That's why people think spicy weebs are sub humans with shit taste

>he thinks the fandom is bigger with spiccies than with BRs

This, probably. I've never even heard of it.

kinda this SS is very popular in south america

It was big in the west, just not in the US and other English speaking countries. It was popular in Spanish speaking countries, but also in France and in Italy.

>Burgerland is the west

You do realize this was popular in europe right? I fucking hate burgers so much.

meh is just jojo lvl of gayness

Some slavs had it too. I remember in the storytimes a lot of anons from backwater european countries saying it was a hit there too.

Seriously the thing was popular everywhere except anglo countries because they had it like 15 years later, censored it and
>english dubs

>the west
Where are France, Latin America and Brazil?
