What went wrong with Type-Moon?

it was created

everything post tsukihime

Honestly, what more can be done that hasn't already been shown in Tsukihime or Kagetsu Tohya? The games have satisfying endings. And the manga is amazing as it's own adaptation of Tsukihime's main story route anyway. Anything that can be done will risk being overdone to the point that people will give it the fate treatment of killing the magic behind it. Plus, there's Melty Blood if you really crave more moon princess. Yeah, it's sad that we'll never see that nonexistent sequel or remake. But what we got is enough. Especially the manga.

Fate.

>Kara no Kyoukai
no.

>A discussion between Nasu Kinoko and Takeuchi Takashi on Fate/hollow ataraxia and the Fate franchise that in Fate/complete material V Hollow material, which was released in February 2012.

Takeuchi: It’s fun to look back on it because it’s been so long, and just how much we have drawn. I’m so impressed with myself.

Nasu: So the last entry to tie up the Fate series has been released, and I guess we finally close the book on the Fate canon this time.

Takeuchi: All in all, I’m happy that this book came out to bring TYPE-MOON circle prior to the release of Mahoutsukai no Yoru.

Nasu: At first I'd aimed for CCC to be something that can be enjoyed on its own, even more so with Extra. And that Extra can be enjoyed even more with CCC, like Fate/hollow ataraxia to Fate/stay night. But as I wrote the scenario, I became aware of a desire to state the "answer" of the Fate series, which has been continuing for almost ten years now. After ten years, I finally realized that "this is what I wanted to say with the Fate series." If I'm able to complete this, then there'll no longer be anything left for me to say.

Honestly how could anyone in his right mind create this disgusting abomination of a character design?
Don't tell me Takeuchi did it.

>Mahoutsukai no Yoru.
Don't fucking remind me it exists.
Type-moon abandoned it completely.

Also translation when?

Fusing two ridiculous characters is cheating user.

And they at least fixed Passion Lip later.

I honestly surprised Japan isn't tired of Fate already. It's time for them to move on to something fresh and brand new.

translation in my language is 90% done, I don't know about you lads :^)

Japan isn't tired of Mario and Zelda either.

I honestly surprised Japan isn't tired of Naruto/Bleach/Dragon Ball/Nintendo/Fate already. It's time for them to move on to something fresh and brand new.

>it's the daily secondary complaining about Fate thread

Fuck off to /vg/ FGO generals, cancer.

Who are you quoting?

Fate isn't only FGO. Some of us like Fate stuff but have no interest in gachashit mobile games.

Mobage is a hell of a drug.

Are you shitting me?
That design is gorgeous.
I haven't played Extra or CCC But I'd be tempted to just to see more of the Sakura clones.

They only show up in CCC, which is currently only in Japanese. But I'd still reccomend going through Extra first if you know nip and want to experience CCC. As Extra introduces the setting's rules and characters

And CCC is not what went wrong with Type-Moon, I don't care what op's pic implies.

What went wrong is GO and Extella (specially GO) succeeding and Fate losing the battle royale premise with various masters and their servants in exchange of a single self insert master and his harem of servants
I actually like Extella (it's fun to play as the Servants) but it's plot is much inferior to every other TM stuff I've watched and read

But that's older than Tsukihime

>That design is gorgeous.

It's fucking garbage.
It's a definition of overdesigned tasteless shit.

This design is gorgeous, not some retarded Sakura with a pussy-plug and stupid fucking spikes from her legs.

I'm honestly surprised the west isn't tired of capeshit already. It's time for them to move on to something fresh and brand new.

Well considering the setting she's from is far into the future, it's alright.

>What went wrong with Type-Moon?
Nothing. People just don't want to/failed to adapt to new things. It's literally the same people who complains about the new stuff Yu-Gi-Oh has. People don't want to read all the new lore so they have to convince themselves that anything past HA is shit. They probably think saying the same thing every time will somehow make it true.

No it's not.

>nothing

Back then Type-Moon wasn't known for tasteless MMO-tier trash designs and tons of Saber clones. With Extra and FGO the Type-Moon style degraded pretty hard.

>saber clones
there are literally 2 saber clones and one is a joke character

Cool story

>Back then Type-Moon wasn't known for tasteless MMO-tier trash designs and tons of Saber clones. With Extra and FGO the Type-Moon style degraded pretty hard.
Yeah, they were known for their awkward H-scenes and power fantasy novels. Oh wait, that's not any better.

first off fate was never good to begin with, honestly all the lewds of new female characters and new variations of old female characters is the only thing that makes me still care about fate.

Nothing, we have Altera.

This as well.

Who cares about H-scenes?

They were part of the charm.
