The name of Boruto's doujutsu is 白霊眼 romanized as byakureigan. It can mean two things, 1 the direct translation is white spirit eye, 2 it is also a name used for the eye the Buddha.(traditionally Buddha had white or pale irises in artworks)
The eyes of the Buddha are eyes that see all things in the material and spiritual planes of existence.

Ino is literally shit, the other ones are cool

I mean, they spend like an episode and a half and like 2 chapters trapped in a rock in the sound 4 arc until choji breaks them out and he can kick some ass
ino's abilities are pretty useless because of how slow they are and how vulnerable they make her and that as you said anyone powerful is immune to her and shikamaru or can at least break out in a few seconds
also they have the whole cerebro communication thing
and shikamaru is basically the only good-side character beyond naruto and kakashi to actually get decent development, focus, and characterization (which is good because the bad side characters with development are retarded, see: kabuto, sasuke, and to a lesser extent deidara), but yeah he's honestly kind of weak and needs a lot of planning and setup to do anything

It's a pretty simple tactic, forcing your opponent to keep dodging until they can't any longer. The fact that they kept hyping it as requiring the specific InoShikaCho kekkai genkai combo when really a jonin should have the skills required to pull that off.
