I am working on a bachelor's degree right now, have straight A's and I want to take my compsci skills and tax dollars up north to a country that gives a shit. The delicious Norwegian government offers tuition free education for all masters students who wish to study at one of their fine universities, and I intend on staying there for work and eventually starting a family in Norway. Healthcare will be covered obviously, as they provide universal healthcare for anyone residing in the country. All I have to worry about is living costs.

If you go for a doctors degree, you will spend 15 to 25 years paying back the tuition out of your check, and it must only be in Norway. If you flunk or fail, you have to pay out of pocket for wasting the Nords time and efforts. You HAVE to learn Norwedgian and have proof of attempting to learn history and tradition. You have to learn the social interactions of the locals, or you are fucked. It will take 8 years to become a citizian, and if you are off colored, you will be treated as second class.

Regardless of what Sup Forums tells you Norway is kind of a shithole compared to Sweden and even Copenhagen/Denmark. I've worked in Norway and everything is expensive as fuck and the country itself has this bleak almost Finnish "lonely inuit slaughtering seal in darkness" vibe to it that's depressing as fuck. The mountains looks nice in picture until you get there and realize why Sweden wasn't so keen on keeping it - it's claustrophobic as fuck and makes any type of travel a maze ridden nightmare.
I think Sweden offers similar deals and Stockholm is the most beautiful city in the world and bearable if you can tolerate faggots (which being Californian I'm assuming you do). Gothenburg is nearly as beautiful and the most chilled city (in terms of the people) that I've come across in Europe. Copenhagen/Denmark is also very nice but if Stockholm is faggot central then Copenhagen is grumpy central (which is a good thing to some people).
