>Episode 7 Title: "Little Sister and the Most Interesting Novel in the World" So they're covering volume 2 in 3 episodes?
Does that mean they'll rush through volume 3 in 2 episodes? So the big Elf parts/confession will only be a few minutes long instead of having a full episode dedicated to them?
GLORIOUS. This is what should have happened with Oreimo.
Mason Turner
Cool spoilers dude
David Robinson
Aw shit. I swear I didn't mean it. I haven't even read that part in the novels. I just know the setting and characters involved in volume 3.
Colton Bailey
>This is what should have happened with Oreimo.
The sister actually being likeable instead of a cunt? Yeah I agree, Sagiri is cute and a better character than Kirino.
Andrew Robinson
If they're ending it in volume 4 then they're be screaming "buy the LN faggot" or "season 2 coming faggot" because it's such a plot-heavy volume.
I don't know, finishing volume 2 on episode 7 is kind of weird desu, there's no way volume 3 lasts 5 episodes. It's either volume 4 or volume 3 with some anime original content in it.
Brody Anderson
Oh and nice spoilers faggot, way to screw over non-LNfags.
Sebastian Thompson
>Anime original God please no. The last time we got anime original shit and Fushimi wasn't involved we ended up with that horrific "Kirino gets an anime" episode.
Yeah, it's weird as hell to end it next episode and even weirder to go to volume 4 with only 3 episodes in stock to cover it. I could see them do OVAs for volume 5 like Oreimo though.
I feel bad about it because it's a single fucking word that should even be considered spoilers. Didn't even fucking mean it either.
Easton Scott
1% chance of this being 2 cour. Anyway, may I suggest letting this thread die and then create one without spoilers? Doubt it'll just die though.
Brody Murphy
Higher than having no odds at all!
Carson Harris

Why no pic of elegant Elf's new dress?
Benjamin Perry
It should come as no surprise to anyone now that official subbing are just as awful as fansubbing used to be.
Brody Diaz
Remove Muramasa.
Luis Wright
This translation is surprisingly good and faithful. Comparing to Sakura Quest, Saekano (which was saves by Doki) and few other in this season. Except this and fucking big bro, I have no complaints to translation of this series.
Btw, which fansubs? You talking about memecartel obviously?
Thomas Diaz
>Saekano Oh god don't remind me.
Isaiah Nguyen
...
Brandon James
At least I still have my perverted teacher thread while Sup Forums is being raided.
Nathan Campbell
10k is the magic number. Saekano got a new season instantly because it's first volume got that number.
Brayden Baker
I don't think so, volume 3 is a big volume to end the anime with. Volume 4 is not going to be animated because they need more episodes to do that and in the OP they didn't introduce those new characters that are going to show up later.
My theory is, they will cover vol 3 in 5 episodes and the final episode will be the one where the cameo with Oreimo happens. Perhaps they will expand it (cameo) because in the light novel it was a very short interaction.
But I doubt they will cover vol 4 that's out of the question. Besides volume 3 has a lot of content there is much to cover there, 5 or 6 episodes left and that is more than enough.
Jace Hughes
Nothing is going to get 10k this season thanks to granblue and their bullshit.
Ryan Hall
>I could see them do OVAs for volume 5 like Oreimo though.
This is a possibility but that depends on the sales. Well right now it's doing quite good in the pre-orders list so there is hope for more.
Sebastian Torres
Granblue is targeted towards normalfags, they're not part of the usual BD buying demographic.
Ian Carter
>Nothing is going to get 10k this season thanks to granblue and their bullshit.
why so?
Adam Jones
Otaku play that damn game too.
Nathan Morgan
>Yeah, it's weird as hell to end it next episode and even weirder to go to volume 4 with only 3 episodes in stock to cover it.
Volume 3 has enough content:
- There is the beach episode (Island of Elf) - Muramasa Showdown - Tokyo episode with Oreimo cameo
You skipped a lot of things.
Jordan Mitchell
You're clearly understimating how popular that shitty mobage is in Japan.
Adrian Myers
Volume 3 is shorter than volume 1, there's no way they can put out 5 episodes on it without shitting on the pacing.
Brayden Martinez
>You're clearly understimating how popular that shitty mobage is in Japan.
Lol, indeed. user didn't play Gran Blue Fantasy yet and doesn't know a shit how the popular the game is over in Japan.
Joshua Williams
They can like do all that shit in 1-2 episodes.
Oreimo cameo is literally a 1-2 minute thing.
Levi Garcia
There have been hits in seasons with Love Live, this season will be fine.
Landon Evans
>Oreimo cameo is literally a 1-2 minute thing. I know that, where did I say it's a long cameo? It's practically 1 or 2 freaking sentences in whole volume 3. I said, perhaps they will expand it.
Asher Lopez
>I could see them do OVAs for volume 5 like Oreimo though. Perhaps a filler episode? They did that in Oreimo too, with Ayase and the portable game.
Bentley Wright
Please no. Just ruse volume 4 to advertise the LN and be done with it, no shitty fillers.
Gavin Lee

Lucas Parker
Yeah this show isn't a shit fate clone nor tries to be anything other than effective otaku pandering, sorry bro.
Brandon Wright
Lowest common denominator otaku and incestfags who don't care about the actual quality of a fucking light novel adaption.
Cooper Brooks
You can be "otaku pandering" and still *good* in other aspects. Pic related.
Tyler Torres
It's good to the japs and if it pisses pretentious westerners off, even better.
Luis Thompson
Does this show actually have lewd scenes or is it just the name?
Been looking for something to fap to.
Parker Parker
What would you do the moment Sagiri lets you into her room?
Blake Hernandez
But K-on was shit.
Easton Barnes
Headpats.
Jeremiah Campbell
K-On! is great.
Julian James
I'm more interested in what she'd do the moment I'm inside her
Jack Collins
I'm not turned off by the incest, I'm turned off by the awful writing, gauche pandering, and obnoxious characters. Just admit that you're on the same mental level as fujoshi and shounenkids.
Though like OreImo, it still has a bit of a "so bad it's good" quality to it, and that plus shitposting is keeping me watching.
Gavin Jackson
Raid pantsu bin.
Ian Miller
It isn´t.
Carter Adams
>I watch mature Japanese cartoons for mature cartoon watchers such as myself.
Samuel Myers
You're the pretentious Westerner he was talking about. Go read a philosophical thesis if you want to be intellectually stimulated. Entertainment is inherently pandering. Just stop watching what you don't like if you're so mature.
Gavin Nelson
>muh bad writing There's not a single show airing right now with good writing. You're hardly going to find such a thing in anime or anything created for japanese otaku. >muh obnoxious characters Konosuba characters are also obnoxious by themselves but manage to create good scenes when put together. What changes is your personal taste in what you consider to be interesting interactions.
I don't need a Shakespeare to make me like the story or characters, if this show manages to make me laugh a bunch while getting a boner then that's just perfect.
David Thomas
>ywn steal Megumi's pantsu why live
Matthew Lopez
It's done well. It does well what it sets itself to do.
Isaac Gonzalez
I had to back it up and watch this part 10 times.
I need to see more of the real Sagiri!
Ethan Torres
>There's not a single show airing right now with good writing
Saekano and Tsuki ga Kirei are both better romance than this show, which somehow has absolutely no tension despite all three shows being similar in that you know who will win from the start.
Isaac Davis
>why does everyone think my hobby is so childless and retarded?
If you can't recognize the difference between something that is well-made and entertaining and something that panders to the lowest common denominator you should shut the fuck up. Or are you going to argue that The Jerry Springer Show is better than The Wire?
Eli Clark
Why do assume we care that other people think it's childish? Are you some highschooler whose whole life consists of trying to fit in?
Tyler Edwards
Sagiri best imouto
Kayden Bell
Raided? What happened?
Adam Ramirez
No, I'm a NEET like most of you. But while Sturgeon's Law definitely applies to anime, you're holding the medium back when you ignore or dismiss the flaws of a show. Art is actually more enjoyable when you engage with it rather than passively accept the most basic pandering, and there really are anime and manga (not so much LNs desu) that let you do that.
Benjamin Jackson
>I don't like 90% of anime therefor you don't either No, I like what I get. I'm not "holding things back". That's just your way of blaming the target audience for having its taste being catered to instead of yours. The fact that you don't like anime is the industry's problem and it's not the people being pandered to's problem. It's your problem.
Ayden Watson
I like plenty of anime. I just want people to realize that Eromanga Sensei is terrible.
Sebastian Carter
But Eromanga-sensei is great. (you) should realize your taste is bad first.
Angel Nguyen
Stop projecting your taste then. You don't like it and that's your taste. Other people like it and that's heir taste. Stop acting like your own subjective taste is some objective measure of quality, it makes you look like some deluded narcissist.
Connor Bennett
You're the one mentioning romance user. In case you haven't realized, this is a show where the romance is held back by the main characters for a long time, until they can no longer deny it and thus romantic arcs come very late in the story. It's similar to what Oreimo did but not quite; this time the author made it clear that Sagiri is the end game since the start. Everything that happens until she ends up with the protagonist is either comedy to entertain the reader or necessary developments for their pairing to happen, like her being freed from her room and him being freed from his guilt.
Meanwhile Tsuki ga Kirei takes a direct romantic approach from the beginning with 5cm/s vibes to it, and Saekano has the MC be indecisive forever while the girls struggle to deal with each other more than with the MC. They're different shows with different goals.
You're kidding yourself if you think an industry created by and for the lowest common denominator of japanese society has some sort of deep merit. It all boils down to escapism.
William Diaz
>You're kidding yourself if you think an industry created by and for the lowest common denominator of japanese society has some sort of deep merit
A lot of things considered "deep" were made for just a quick buck.
Carter Smith
Just to be nitpicky but the otaku market is not the lowest common denominator of Japanese society. Pandering to the LCD gives you things like hollywood movies. The otaku market is actually the extreme opposite, it caters to a very specific niche.
Christopher Jones
The higher-ups and the actual staff may have different goals. Actually, they usually do.
Anime is as diverse as live-action television. That's why I said Sturgeon's Law applies. But while most bad anime is just dull and forgettable, Eromanga Sensei (like OreImo) is memorably shitty.
Jordan Ward
It's memorably shitty for you and that's an important detail.
Eli Hernandez
OreImo is one of the best anime of this century
Lincoln Fisher
Eromanga-sensei is one of the best anime of this century.
Cooper Nelson
Muramasa's reveal in the latest episode was too telegraphed. Masamune and Yamane should have had that talk earlier, better in a different episode entirely.

Just wait for C92. I'm sure plenty of doujins will show her getting bangbanged by faceless old men.
Oliver Rodriguez
gb2 /r/anime
Aaron Jackson
Don't forget it's happening right in front of her brother
Bentley Ramirez
I never used /r/anime, I was just curious because JC appears in the title of various doujins with slutty girls.
