Reminder that presence of magic is fine.

Reverse Isekai where a race of traps appear into japan

A high school boy solves mysteries with the help of his five friends, one of whom is a talking dog.

> Magic.
> The calling of power from the Plane of Existance, the center place of all creation.
> To call upon the attributes of creation: light, fire, water, earth, air and darkness.
> To bring forth power from the plane, one must recite a prayer while possessing a Grimoire, a book that acts as communicator to ask for power from Plane.
> To prevent the most powerful of spells from being conjured from the Plane, translation and copies of such high level Grimoire was restricted from the rest of the world.
> Alchemy.
> Apart from magic, which is the act of praying for creation, Alchemy is the act of creation itself using pre-existance.
> Using pre-existing materials, one can use the act of alchemy to create a material of higher value or deconstruct material into their base materials.
> It is said to also have the ability to go beyond physical pre-existance, but it has not yet been found.
> One should best understand the structure and composition of a material in order to alchemize, otherwise, there will be a failure or backlash.
> However, the act of alchemy is considered a blasphemy against the Plane of Existance.
> Such taboo against the Plane for imitating creation will excommunicate those who attempt the art of alchemy.
> Therefore, in exchange for losing the ability to "pray", alchemists essentially lose the ability to use magic.
> Moreover, those who knowingly accept help or assist those who have been forsaken shall be forsaken by the Plane as well.
> People feared such a thing as an act of heresy and the art of alchemy became an esoteric field as well as a social taboo.
> One relies on faith in creation, and one relies on knowledge in creation.
> Our protagonist is a young alchemist that goes on a journey to search the reason for his master's estrangement and defection by going into an enemy country and fighting in a war.
> What will he find beyond the truth of alchemy from the man who taught him and as many people's faith gets tested on the battlefield?

4/10, why traps? Just for the sake of it?
Plot convenient mascot. Scooby-Doo rip-off.

>rip-off.
It'll be an officially licensed Japanese adaptation.

A man working in a pet store who gets severe hayfever falls in love with a woman working in a flower shop who is severly allergic to cats.

.Female Protagonist With a Mysterious Weapon.

A few years back I've created a story where a bunch of teenagers that lived in a almost perfect society discovered a underground world where all kinds of people lived.
The story itself is big, so i'm going to say some of the key points.

First of all, the story is about how good people can turn into bad people because of curiosity. The main characters start using drugs and teasing the government and eventually most of they die, making the protagonist change on the middle of the story.

This new protagonist wears a magnetic boot so he can equilibrate himself in his hoverboard. He eventually takes control of the mob but he is too incompetent to run the business.
Because of drug abuse, he starts to get violent and he starts raping his girlfrinend. She eventually gets pregnant, but flees so she can raise her baby in safety. He discovers her location and kills her on the most violent way possible. He cruccifies her, take her eye out with a glass shard, mutilates her, open her belly and rape the 6-month fetus.
The story ends when the police kills him.

Ah, it is also a Sci-Fi story. There is this battle where they need to take out a guy who wears a suit used in time-travel tests and he can walk in time for a moment in the same way somebody walk in space. They kill him by causing a rupture in his suit. The time radiation completely distroys his body.

A car is hit by a truck. Unable to confess, it is grafted to the shoulder of the next demon king as a secondary head. Shocked by this case of mistaken identity, the daughter swears revenge, dedicating the rest of her life to the perfection of mayonnaise. MC returns home moments too late to survive being struck by lightning. But the townsfolk have other plans, and it's only a matter of time before he's forced to reveal the truth. When the witch finds the fish in the key, the two of them have no choice but to question what side of the road they should drive on.

I really like that dichotomy between faith and knowledge of creation, and you can frame some interesting scenarios from that core. You could've pulled a reader much earlier if you began with the protag's mission, THEN branching out into the Magic/Alchemy divide.

...

All the food is poison.

A cult has released a virus around the world. Spreading invisibly through the air, it lies in wait in the bodies of the infected to kill them during orgasm. Billions have gone to their deaths. As society tears itself apart, child soldiers are drafted to protect what little civilization is left.

>ottoman brother and sister aged 9 and 6 respectively
>their family dies
>brother has always wanted to be a samurai
>decides to travel from istanbul to japan to become a samurai
>sister tags along
>anime follows them as they grow up
>brother becomes an infamous rōnin known for his swordsmanship
>sister becomes an assassin who uses a kusarigama to kill
>etc.

Guys, remember harder mode?

Harder mode is too hard a mode for a humble user like me.

>rules in place because anons keep making generic isekai shit

LUL

Midori days but instead of being the right hand of the guy she has a crush on she turns into his penis and hijinks ensue. When he has to pee she vomits urine, there is a wet dream episode that he has to explain to her, he has to resist jerking her off since she is naked and also has tiny boobs that are super sensitive and her entire body is sensitive to the male protag as an erogenous zone due to her being his weiner.

I'll take my nobel peace prize now.

You mean lazy instead of humble?

Starts as a generic slice of life show with generic cute girl characters.
However, one of the girls is experiencing some hardcore episode of deja vu, has weird dreams, feels like something is wrong, like the entire world changed or that she doesn't belongs there.

She then finally realizes and remembers that she has been doing the same things over and over again, and after a period of time (the usual time span of a one cour adaptation) the world simply ceases to exist. However, it immediately begins again, and everything happens exactly as it did before, except that their identities and the look of their world changes, and no one remembers the previous cycles.

The entire cast undergoes an existential crisis, as they come face to face with the meaninglessness of their lives and relationships, and some try desperately to find a way to stop it, or just find out what is going on. They fail.

During the final episode, right before the final credits, the girls bitterly accept their fate, and they hold hands as they look at their last sunset together.

The after credits scene is a fake teaser for a new slice of life: the cycle begins anew.

I call it "baby's first 2deep4u entry level philosophy and critique on anime industry: the animation"

I thought of this while I was waking up a few weeks ago, just lounging around in bed, felt pretty miserable that day
> template high school
> female loser MC has no friends except for childhood friend (male) that she plays MTG with after school
> childhood friend is a chad, their parents are very close, chad and his little brother always played with MC and her little sister
> girls are always hitting on him, he always says lolno
> MC's mother suicides, note says she has been battling with depression
> MC thinks it's all her fault
> chad comforts her, offers her support (but not his dick)
> MC spiraling into depression
> prescribed antidepressants, the pharmacist offers her a "way out" instead
> gives her two pills, tells her to take both, and in 24 hours the pain will be gone
> MC thinks about it, takes one pill
for reasons, I'm still working this part out
> writes her note, blah blah "not good enough, worthless, chad doesn't like like me"
> she's got a little sister btw, wills all her posessions to sis.
> has a ball doing whatever she wants for a day, trying the food she always wanted to try, buying a nice dress, etc.
> skips school, but still meets with chad to play MTG after class
> takes him to school roof, 24 hours is almost up
> confesses, she fully expects him to lolno it would be weird we've known each other for too long
> chad is overjoyed, said he's been working up the courage to do it himself
> OHFUCK.jpg
> desperate kiss
> dies on the spot

Part 2: Chad is the MC now
> Long quiet scene where he's up on the roof just waiting for the paramedics to show up
> nonononononononononononnononononononnononoonononononononon
> itsallmyfaultitsallmyfaultitsallmyfaultitsallmyfaultitsallmyfaultitsallmyfaultitsallmyfaultitsallmyfaultitsallmyfault
> former MC declared dead at hospital, chad goes to her house to tell her family
> they're not home, chad goes to her room, finds the pill and puts two and two together
> reads the note
> Icouldhavepreventedthis
> since chad is MC now, we can finally see behind the facade he kept up at school
> Turns out Chad is also a fragile fuck, and he's pretty sure he'll never have feelings for anyone else
> After a few days of lounging around, not eating or sleeping, he attends former MC's funeral and burial
> few more agonizing days go by, he's losing weight quickly, his little brother can't take it any more
> gets him a prescription for antidepressants
> goes to pharmacy
> pharmacist offers him a "way out", gives him two pills
> MC recognizes the pills, asks what happens if you only take one
> pharmacist says why don't you find out
> MC takes the two pills and goes home
> takes the pill he found in former MC's room instead, leaves the other two pills on his desk
> writes his own note, saying he wants to be with former MC
> gives lil bro all his earthly shit, patiently waits for the end to come
> the end comes

Karl Marx (in this universe a gray haired NEET Loli) after a drunken night out in victorian London awakes to find herself in the exotic scenary of First Century Palestine, everyone around her is Calling her Jesus of Nazareth, and her mother is pestering her to become a priest. At first, Marx scoffs at such religious Nonsense, but then realizes she can use her new identity to reshape world history by turning the soon to be largest religion in the world into a force for revolutionary communism. Hillarity ensue as Marx spouts anachronistic communist axioms like "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" and "The Meek shall Inherit the earth" and "sell your possessions and give to the poor". Lots of hijinks like Marx going through tobacco withdrawal tries opium, and in a soporific haze starts flipping tables at the temple, Yuri scenes with Mary Magdalene, an episode about redistributing fish and loaves. Eventually her firery rhetoric and future knowledge enabled "miracles" attracts a great number of followers, to the dismay of a Shekel loving Rabbi and a hooknosed prefect (also lolis) who conspire to stop him.

Part 3
> wakes up on a city block suspended in the air, no ground in sight
> there's a girl nearby, asks her where he is
> "this is some kind of purgatory, everybody here committed suicide"
> "we realized that we were living in hell, and we killed ourselves to escape it"
> meets a few other people, some of them are at peace, helping the others through whatever tragedies they had escaped from
> *couple episodes of feels stories and character development*
> they show him a statue in a corner of the block, it's not much to look at, just a little pyramid
> "if you touch that, you are reborn into a world that isn't hell"
> Chad MC doesn't buy the whole "real world is hell" thing, but believes in the statue after he sees a guy touch it and vanish
> the idea of eternal reincarnation is comforting to him
> after a few episodes of comforting other suicide victims, he's at peace and ready to move on
> touches the statue
> nothing happens
> pharmacist turns up, says that wont work
> y
> Because you're not dead, you only took one pill
> points to the edge of the city block
> "that's your only way out, it leads to the real world"
> MC sees that he's arrived at a dead end
> realizes how much he misses his family, decides to jump
> heartfelt goodbyes to his fellow suicides, gets a kiss from the girl he initially bumped into
> jumps
> girl says "please let that not be hell"

Part 4
> Chad MC wakes up in bed, back in the real world
> wait, it's not a bed
> sits up
> hears gasps, followed by screams
> turns his head, sees his parents staring at him in horror
> they're surrounded by the students at his school, and many other townies
> they're all wearing suits
> black tie
> chad looks down
> there's his little brother, sleeping in the coffin next to his
> chad breaks down
> embraced by his parents they've just been reprieved from having both of their children die
> parents take him home
> chad goes to his room, both of the pills he had left out were missing
> puts two and two together
> itsallmyfaultagain
> spends a few days mourning his little brother, spends a lot of time with former MC's sister
> on the third day, he's hit by lightning (the whole audience probably saw this coming)
> the dumbfuck realizes that former MC only took one pill, and was ALIVE at the time of her burial
> grabs shovel, goes to the graveyard, digs up the coffin
> opens the lid
> her eyes are open!
> her mouth is open in a silent scream
> her hands are at her throat
> cause of death: suffocation
> All of the pain Chad had relinquished in the realm of the suicides comes right back
> itsallmyfaultagainagain
> welp, life has been great but I can't live with myself. Time to an hero
> walking back to his house to write a note when he hears crying from former MC's house
> walks into former MC's little sister's room, sees two pills on her desk
> thecycleendshere
> angrily swats them away, comforts little sister and decides to live through the pain, for her sake and everybody who mourned his passing

The story's not perfect yet, chad MC really shouldn't have forgotten former MC in purgatory. Where go from here? Two pills = two trips to purgatory. Who is the pharmacist, and why is he angel of death-ing children?

Alternative setting:

Starts as a generic slice of life show with generic cute girl characters.
However, the technology, names and fashion are pretty odd. It looks like it took place sometime in the past somewhere in Europe, but the show doesn't elaborates on that.

And then, right at the middle of the 3rd episode it is suddenly revealed that BAM! It was Poland, 1939!

The entire tone of the show has a violent and sudden shift. Many main characters die, others are never heard or seen again, and the lives of every single character are destroyed by war.

It's one hell of a mess.

The fuck am I reading?
Series #206
Already?
What is this, Owari no Seraph?

Group of college students get isekai'd (alien abducted) to a pretty normal (no magic and shit) world (planet). The aliens that pose as the gods of this pre-industrial world ('medieval' doesn't really apply to a world that evolved with a different history) inject the group with nanomachines that stop aging and most disease and set them up in leadership positions all around the world. All as a part of a social experiment of having more advanced humans lead less advanced ones. Spans 500 years or so as the MC conquers the world, curbstomping his former friends.
I tried to make the post as simple as possible because this damn thing has been growing in my mind for months and there's autistic levels of worldbuilding that'd be impossible to convey in a post.

So a technology vs magic kind of thing? Seems interesting if the setting is done well.
Sounds like a complete clusterfuck. I'm sure Japan would love it though.

>No Keitai/Lantern

A sky lantern falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess because he's a fucking sky lantern, he is gifted with (by a deus ex machina) the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code or the fact that he has no phone, let alone mouth or hands with which to call and leave a message, he immediately gets in touch with her through telepathy and is overjoyed to find that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression, since she can't understand him or see him as anything other than a regular sky lantern. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is in fact another sky lantern. This sky lantern has fallen in love with a boy whose telepathic blueprint is identical to the first sky lantern, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the sky lantern attempts to communicate with the girl while she wonders why she keeps seeing a sky lantern in odd places, until one day she is led to a park where she meets a boy with another sky lantern- indeed, the very same boy that the other lantern had fallen in love with. The two lanterns had realized their love could never work out and had thus decided to set up the two humans with each other, and the boy and girl promptly fall in love, get married, and keep the lanterns as mementos for all time, after which they've been forced to watch the two fuck thousands of times.

>1 in 10,000 people carry the gene for telepathy
>1 in 10 of these carriers have the gene active
>1/2 of these active gene carriers know what is in their head is telepathy. the others just think they are crazy and eventually do go crazy.
>1/2 of the people that know they're telepaths also manifest telekenisis.
>9/10ths of active telepaths are found by the governments of the world. forced into government service as basically a slave, or killed in an "accident".
>the general population is not aware of telepaths.
>Ryouko is a 16 year old girl and in the past year her grades have soared. she doesn't know it, but she has been passively reading minds in her classes to get all the correct answers.
>Emiko is Ryouko's Neighbor, best friends, and classmate. average grades but star athlete.
>one day while they are walking home after school. they stop in a 7-11 for a drink. in the back are some ruffians. while ryouko is rather short and mousey looking. Emiko is tall fit and a knockout. the ruffians start harassing emiko. emiko's refusal of their advances gets her slapped down to the ground. Ryouko yells at them and gets beat down. the reach up into Emiko's skirt and Ryouko screams "stop". at the same time the ruffians are booted by invisible force across the store and out the plate glass window.
>the girls hurry out of the store and to emiko's house. while ryouko is freaking out about those guys and how they just flew. emiko is searching the internet for news on the incident. the news was just some petty teenage criminals were assaulted by an unknown person. the girls are not even menitoned, just one image on a news site even shows the girls were in the store at the time. relieved, ryouko goes home.
>meanwhile the Japanese governments Public Safety Section 10(always represented by a X internally) has caught onto the story. they go to the 7-11, get the surveillance tapes, interview the clerks, drugs the clerks so they can't remember the day,

Slice of Life about a shota who wants to be a supervillain trying his best.

Please remember to give feedback or else these threads will go downhill again.

Professor Chaos?

This /lit/ poster has been working on a Fate tribute. What do you guys think? Magic is fucking magic, yo
The dichotomy isn't bad (as others have said) but it's just not appealing to me

And then???

>public safety 10 also does the same with the ruffians, police, and hospital staff.
>next day at school. everything is fine. in fact it stays that way for weeks. though Ryouko starts hearing voices after these few weeks.
>confiding in emiko about the voices. she is overheard by some fat nerd boy in his school club room. emiko thinks ryouko is just imagining things. fat nerd shows up with a laptop and shows them some crackpot's web site about the existence of telepaths and the government's coverup.
>the website is a honeypot for section 10. agents sent to the school under the pretense of a harmful computer virus infecting government computers. they find the offending laptop. swap the hard drive, and get a list of the animation club members.
>they determine by browser history of the laptop that it was fat nerd that went to the honeypot. they snatch up fat nerd, interview, drug, and dump him. fat nerd gives up Emiko and Ryouko to the agents.
>next day. the agents with a special truck, disguised as a beer delivery truck, snatch emiko and ryouko. the truck is shielded to prevent people inside it from being read from the outside or people inside from reading those outside. though it has the unfortunate consequence of making those inside be read crystal clear. ryouko hears their thoughts and freaks out again. causing the truck to basically explode and look like it was peeled like a fruit.
>ryouko and emiko get up from their daze and run. hiding in the back of their favorite arcade. they wonder what the fuck just happened. ryouko can hear the agents clear as day from anywhere now. she knows they have got up and are looking for her again.
>ryouko grabs emiko and they get to the train station. they get off early in a small mountain town station. ryouko can still hear the agents form the truck and knows they have put men at all the major stations. using emiko's parent's credit card they pull out a huge sum of cash.
>staying in an inn for a couple days.

Would the aliens play a part in the story often? Would they be original gods or copy mythological things from earth?

It sounds like Isekai Battle Royale, though it's not a bad start. It seems like you wouldn't give a shit about the characters unless you knew them beforehand.

Do Japs hate metashit? For example, in one of my projects, the MC and his group form a school club for the sole purpose of having a way to hang out and become more popular within the school system, but he and his friend really don't give a shit about anything but movies. There's already a film club, so they call their's the "Cinema Club" and narrowly get away with it. They never really do club like things and just use the time to scheme away at get rich quick plans and how to establish influence in the school.

I can see Japs getting mad that they aren't ACTUALLY doing club shit.

As long as people can draw parallels between the weapon and menstruation, female puberty and sexuality, it's a guaranteed success.

>This new protagonist wears a magnetic boot so he can equilibrate himself in his hoverboard

That kinda came out of nowhere.

Aliens posing as gods has had some influence in history and tradition of the world, so worldbuilding stuff.
Voices and light from the sky announce the arrival of god's kings and queens is something the MC and others abuse to gather pious people for their armies. MC plays the 'messenger of god' card often.
It's actually an AI and a satellite doing the isekaiing, anything about the aliens remains a mystery, but it is hinted that this might not be the only world this is happening on.
They do come into play when the world reaches the modern era though, but I've only thought the actual story up to the industrial age.

Nothing to read into, I just thought it would be cool.
I'd want this to be a sci-fi series that doesn't just revolve around how cool the futuristic gadgets are and just treats them as accessories to tell a more interesting story with.

Wrote this a while ago for a game I was working on. Wanted to start updating it though since it sounds like shit. Main thing I wanted to do was not have the main characters knowing each other before they became a team.

Name is Earth Squadron Poseman

15 years ago, six children from all across Earth were abducted by the Volgol Empire and sent to the war planet Gala. For five years, each of them were put through their own personal rigorous training in order to serve Volgol as a soldier in the future, developing their own superhuman abilities. Five of them were saved by a benevolent alien named DireWhite, who took them into Earth and raised them an orphanage of his owned by his public identity, Dr. Hayase. All but one were eventually adopted were eventually adopted, with the remaining one becoming Dr. Hayase’s legal daughter under the name Hana Hayase.
Since then, all of them have led different yet interesting lives due to their abilities, with them forgetting about Volgol through a mine wipe by DireWhite. However, threats on their lives and a distress call from Dr. Hayase has led to all of them reuniting once again. Dying from a full scale attack from Volgol, he tells them of their past and the threat of the Volgol Empire.
Before dying, he gives each of them a fifth of his power to protect Earth. They are now DireGai V, dedicated to defeating the threat of the Volgol Empire once and for all.

>ryouko manages to gain some control over her power. but then she suddenly can't hear anyone at all.
>they hop on a bus and leave to go all the way up to Sapporo. where Ryouko has grandparents.
>second bus they are approached by a strange man. talking to them through telepathy. he says that he caught wind of ryouko's outbursts and has been masking her. so that the government and their captive telepath can't find them.
>they get off, and walk for a couple days through woods and farm fields to a fishing town. where the stranger convinces a fisherman to take them to a small island off the east coast of japan near sendai.
>there the stranger has a house. in it is a faraday cage. where ryouko can be safe from tracking. a few weeks there the stranger teaches ryouko the basics and focuses on keeping under the telepathic radar.
>meanwhile public safety section 10 has run through all of the girl's family and friends.all of course drugged.
>stranger tells them that they should go, but it isn't safe to go to anyone obvious. also not to use public transit. that ryouko will have to user her power on people to get around with out notice. even if she doesn't like it.
>they leave. the public safety telepath can only get occasional fuzzy readings on ryouko. he has a general knowledge but delayed by days.so they release a fake news story about Ryouko and Emiko are wanted for narcotics and gang activity.

Reverse isekai where a fantasy warrior with a love for adventure and discovery falls through a portal and appears in our world. He teams up with a recent college dropout who is wandering through life without a goal or purpose. They bro it up and set out on a world spanning "roadtrip" that takes them to various real-world locations. Fantasy MC reacts to all of the amazing things in our world in the same way that we would react to a world with magic and dragons. Normal MC slowly gains an appreciation for what the world has to offer. The main point is to show how fantastic this world is by showing it through the eyes of a stranger.

A super sweet and feminine girl that wouldn't hurt a fly is trucked and reincarnated as a Conan the Barbarian stand-in.

Alternatively, a stock feminist, almost tumblr level, is reincarnated as Conan the Barbarian. I'm not sure what would happen, except that she gets cucked a lot.

You made me google the ammendments, good job! Sounds pretty interesting.

You just described Devil is a Part-Timer my guy
>A super sweet and feminine girl that wouldn't hurt a fly is trucked and reincarnated as a Conan the Barbarian stand-in.

this sounds excellent

>You just described Devil is a Part-Timer my guy

Devil is a Part-Timer involved super powered anime fights and didn't involve comfy cross-country roadtrips.

idol isekai

isekai but it's basically seinfeld

Title: Ze Hat. I've posted this enough that most anons know what it is just from the title but just in case there's some new lurkers present.

A series based/inspired heavily by old Jackie Chan films and other Hong Kong action flicks.
MC's name is Jun Ree (named after martial artist Jhoon Goo Rhee) which does sound a little bit like a girls name in retrospect which could be a small running joke
in the series. As for martial arts he's quiet capable, but the thing is he looks and somewhat acts like a good damn idiot while fighting (hence the Jackie Chan part)
so everyone initially underestimates him. Other than that the only other thing set in stone about him is that he wears a blue baseball type hat which is how we get the tittle of the series (if it sounds like a stupid reason, that's the point).

The main story centers around Jun Ree doing odd jobs around the city/slums of Not Hong Kong each bring its own 2-3 episode/chapter mini arc, some are original and some are heavily borrowing the plot from old Hong Kong movies with the connection between them is the hat wearing sorry excuse for a main character is involved in some way be it major or minor whether it be because of a job in order to make a quick buck, roped in against his will, or just plain bad luck.

The introductory arc borrows a little from the first Police Story movie in where Jun is hired (threatened) by a old friend in the police (who's name would either by Chan Ka-Kui or Kevin Chan) to look after the soon to be main heroine who plans to testify in court about about a crime lords illegal activities on a hunch that there are moles in the force that are seeking to undermine the take down a said crime lord.

I might finally stop posting this for a good while, it feels like Sup Forums has commented all that there is to say about it. Might finally make an attempt to make this sort of real by practicing drawing again, or just pestering my sibling who knows how to draw to help make a few illustration

Hardest mode it is, then.

A lot of gamey worldbuilding without much to show for it. Who's this MC, and why should we care about him? Why should we care what lies "beyond the truth of alchemy" when alchemy is just a set of arbitrary rules you invented yourself?

I hate using this word, but this really does sound excessively edgy. There's also a lack of basic coherence. Things come and go in your description and none of it seems to add up to any greater picture.

Here's the common problem of a premise without a story.

If you can have an opinion, you can offer criticism.

Vaguely interesting, but only on account of the twist. To make it an actually strong story, you'll need to focus on the characters' reaction to their situation.

This is very convoluted. I'd honestly be happy to hear you give this again in a non-greentext format, but right now it just sounds like meandering misery porn.

Give us more of the characters; the worldbuilding is almost never useful to hear at this stage.

There are already Japanese works premised on the idea of a fake club that doesn't actually do any club shit. This isn't anything new.

Sounds fair for a game; sounds a bit too basic for a strictly story-driven medium.

Sounds sweet and adventurous, though lacking in story depth. It'd make a fun comedy.

Give it a shot with the drawing! If it's a story you want to tell, it's worth the effort.

> Some speech about wanting to know everything, why we're here
> Window shot because we don't have budget to draw a buncha kids with black and brown hair right now
> We're shown MC, generic as can be except for an ahoge on his head
> Dreads 'wagecuck' life, wants to know if there's more than just that
> MC, high school student is aware he's in an anime
> Somehow knows through some incident with a keychain on his bag, I dunno how to write that in
> Other characters don't believe him, laugh it off
> "Dude seriously credits are gonna roll in 10 seconds"
> Realizes that he's the MC and has ''plot armor''
> Being somewhat of a loser he goes out and gets all the things people usually work hard for (a fancy house, car), easy way out stuff, etc to not be the dreaded wageman he hates
> Trivializes morals and values, like hard work, tenacity, yadda yadda
> Christmas cake teacher "wins" MCbowl
> Wedding day
> Shots of keychain during every moment he alters something heavily, but in this scene it's a big focus
> MC, desensitized to the things people hold true, like love and family, breaks down
> "____, I love you...but I know that you're not real."
> World falls apart around him, floating around in void
> "If nothing is real, then what's the point, I'm just some character written to do whatever anyway. To fade away into nothing, like what I am."
> "Yes, in a way you're right."
> "whothefuckisthat"
> Real shot of studio ___ artist sitting down in front of him
> "You robbed me of everything!"
> "But people still want the things you want, even if they know it's meaningless in the end."
> "That's different! I knew it wasn't real through and through. Just a fake with nothing to make of it!"
> "But even now, you still wanted the real thing, right?"
> MC goes on a rampage, exposing plot holes all throughout the series, in his creator's logic, in his own logic
> "I wanted to know. Why we were here. What we could do that was beyond the scope of what we're left with now."

Pepe fights normies when they start to invade kekistan.

idfk man thats the first thing that came to mind rereading it now it seems pretty shit

It was the start of the second year of Astrid’s adventurous life at her prestigious not-Hogwarts high school, when a messenger pigeon came with a letter from her parents: for various reasons, their perpetually sketchy finances had finally collapsed, leaving them with no home and no tuition money, meaning Astrid would be going to live with her estranged sister Estelle, whom no one in the family had spoken with since Estelle dropped out of not-Hogwarts three years ago.

Already dejected from losing her place in the magical world, Astrid makes her way to the rural town where Estelle lives. She finds her eking out a living as an undercover alchemist, dwelling in an RV with her three-year-old son. The moment the sisters lay eyes on each other, old wounds quickly reopen between them, each still bitter after three years of mutual silence.

To add to Astrid’s misery, the dingy American high school she must now attend is a far cry from the splendor of not-Hogwarts, with barely any other students, and certainly no normal ones. The friendliest of the lot of is Becky, a bored conspiracy addict who immediately latches on to the notion that Astrid and Estelle are secretly drug dealers, just like in her thrilling TV dramas. Astrid finds herself forced to play along with Becky’s delusions, lest she stumble upon the real secret instead.

This is the story of Astrid’s struggle to find a new place for herself after having the magic literally stripped from her life. It’s about how she and Estelle slowly repair their relationship, and also perhaps about hunting the sasquatch in the woods with Becky. Everyone is looking for something exciting, a little magic to make life bearable. Will any of them find it?

This, do this.

> "Well, now that you know, what do you want?"
> "To not know. I don't care if at the end there's nothing but a void like this. But to know that there is, that everything I do, that I'm going to do, isn't worth it? That it's all fake?"
> "Hm."
> "To not know would scare me. But I'd take over knowing and losing sense of everything."
> "So, what do you want to revise?"
> Pencil pops up in artist's hand
> "I want to do everything. I want to feel that good feeling when you get a paycheck after a fun week at work. I want to cry as my car breaks down. I want to love my wife and know that she'd really love me back."
> "What's so different about this run though?"
> "I won't know that I'm in an anime."
> Keychain jingles
> bite za dusto back to the first episode
> MC is overwhelmed with sudden confidence, but has no idea where it comes from
> Some speech about values, deep stuff about life, and a bag without a keychain
> End

I wrote myself into a corner, whoops

Story about a boyfriend and a girlfriend. The guy dies. She's devastated, and the story follows both of them at the same time. It follows him watching her grow older every day. While he stays the same. And he tries desperately to let her know she's fine, but he can't. In fact he can barely comunicate or interact with her. So in times when like she tries to idk commit suicide he has to stop her. And I imagine a scene with him trying to hold her arm down so she doesn't lift the razor, sweating, crying, screaming for her to stop, but failing miserably, and in the end, when she's on her death bed. He is allowed to visit her, and be the one who guides her to the next life or whatever. But I imagine the scene of her, on her bed, with the camera horizontally, with her eyes closed. And he, but as his young self, slowly moves towards her to kiss her on the lips, and the closer he comes, the more he starts fading and vanishing. And when he kissess her, he puts his ear on her chest, and hears her heart stop beating. So the spirit of her young self gets up from the body of her old self. They hug. And walk towards some light or something.
There can be some poetic lines in the middle of the journey like him telling God something like "When she comes back, I want you to ask for her forgiveness"

3/10 Somone's going to have to quit their job to make this relationship work

A powerful sorcerer has the signature ability to form human vessels of any appearence that he can insert himself into at will. His main goal is to seduce the gods of his world into falling in love with his many facades by using a multitude of personalites and physical features fit for each god.

> Beyond the truth
I should have worded truth and beyond a little more differently, more like further depths of origin.
> Who's this mc
Didn't I already mention it?
> and why should we care about him?
Can you try to elaborate on this?
> Without much to show for it
Well, this is just a premise, what exactly do you mean by show for it? Of course I can't exactly show for it since I'm going off of mere experimental concept.

I like the premise, but the part with the gang is too cliche, you should write this shit down, user. It may sell in a future.

>Give us more of the characters; the worldbuilding is almost never useful to hear at this stage.
It actually follows 3 characters untill they meet:
The MC gets the most 'civilised' kingdom, 'the empire crumbled but the original kingdom is still doing okay' sort of country and he's just by himself. He's a relative normie who's also a bit of history nut and can't get over his ex. After his initial attempts to play political games backfire on him because he underestimates everyone's inteligence, he wises up and goes through various phases, from paranoid careful to confidently taking risks.
The other one is a queit girl who ended up with another 3 in a more feudal kingdom. Two of the group are useless, but the other girl of the group is extremely beatiful and eloquent and is the one the 'god' advertised to be the queen. As the quiet girl becomes proficient in army logistics and starts despising the others for not actually doing anything, she slowly realises even she has no power and they're all just pawns in the noble's power games because of the influence of a 'godsend queen' to make thousands of peasants take up arms.
The third is a girl that arrives alone as a noble ruler of a remote area of a northern kingdom.Less politics, more 'medieval SOL', as she tries to get used to the shit and piss filled shithole she's in. Hijinks where she learns what a chamber pot is the hard way, etc. She becomes relevant later.

the world is actually flat, and round earth is just a conspiracy to keep people from looking for more continents.

also it has cute girls

>also it has cute girls
we have a winner

is there anything underneath the flat earth or is it just infinite dirt/rocks?

i guess i can throw an underground arc or maybe even an atlantis one too.

do not steal.

What level of technology are we talking here, user? I like the premise but I'm on the fence of suspending my disbelief. You gotta remember that people figured out that the world was round over 2000 years ago and it's pretty easy to prove mathematically with some introductory algebra.

>Evil villain brutally kills hero and crushes rebel uprising
>realizes maybe he's gone a little unhinged with this entire evil business
>kills the despotic ruler so his questionably evil charismatic dictator friend can take over the state
>it's in good hands probably
>goes on a tour of the world
>recruits a few other stereotypical villains along the way, and maybe a few heroes
>try to become a little less evil and a little more normal and humane

This sounds kind of neat.

maybe 20 years in advance. the premise is that the original 7 continents have been polluted and exhausted of natural resources. they are now madmax wastelands full of bandits and people fighting over natural resources. there are very few places that still have some semblance of order. One of them is the free city states of Kameha , (i haven't decided were its located in the modern world, i was thinking hawaii.)

Anyway one day a cute girl comes in a giant boat, and tells them that there's more continents, and that they have been kept secret from the population and instead split by the worlds 13 most powerful families (which she happens to be the daughter of one)

anyway, they go out and fight these families and shit.

dont laugh.

>Anyway one day a cute girl comes in a giant boat, and tells them that there's more continents, and that they have been kept secret from the population and instead split by the worlds 13 most powerful families

you have ten seconds to explain why they don't kill her/eat her/rape her

Nah, that's pretty alright. I'd give it a watch if it was well written, and gets around plotholes and trappings like without using too many tropes. The premise is totally there, though.

because shes trying to help people and the people of kameha are civilised m8. plus you need need her because getting to the outer ring involves secret boat navigation threw and under antarctica.

also shes cute.

An idol show but the idols are also traps.

I'm fairly sure this exists.

>MC is unpopular but not a complete scumbag
>only his humble childhood friend who became popular hangs with him
>one day Truck-kun comes a-honking
>headed straight for MC's friend
>MC's first thought is to push his friend out of harm's way and sacrifice himself
>only he doesn't
>friend gets hit so hard he gets isekai'd
>meanwhile MC continues school without any friends, becoming bitter and lonely
>friend ends up saving a fantasy world and building an even bigger harem than he had in school
>this fate was meant for MC, but he lost it all in a moment of weakness

Any way to continue this? I was starting but lost direction after:

>friend comes back
>can't adjust to normal life
>comes to depend on MC
>MC uses his leverage to force friend to bring him to isekai world
>contrary to MC's expectations he is still a complete shitter that can't do anything

>Space
>follows a group of smugglers and drug producers
>group is mostly made up of orphans from raids and planetside devastation
>plenty of cute lolis and Shotas learning to cook meth
>Whoops big economy crash
>Very large coalition invaded its neighbor for its mineral wealth
>our meth cooking gang is in the warpath
>the eldest of the group, Admiral orders the movement of the entire fleet and evacuation of the asteroid cluster they called home
>the fleet is mostly made up of civilian ships, a handful of combat ships, and one capital ship
>surprise miscalculation!
>they end up warped in the middle of a giant battle
>everyone scatters
>only afew ships made it with the Capital ship
>the rest are scattered, but still alive
>entire series is based around finding all the lost ships

Basicly Spice and Wolf (but with illegal substances market) meets Battlestar Galactica from the perspective of a 50 corporation in EVE online. With permadeath. And i mean real permadeath. not everyone is going to survive.

>Any way to continue this? I was starting but lost direction after:

timeskip to college. MC is a fucking loser and his friend comes back a king or royal champion

Very simple

>MC commits suicide by jumping down a set of stairs
>wakes up in the isekai as the next demon lord and he has to deal with his friend who's living it up as a hero surrounded by babes

Make it low sci-fi/semi-realistic with zero-g, inertia, plausible weapons and not just beamspam, people getting sick from radiation left and right, all the stuff, and it's a classic.

Typical medieval world, show follows a group of mercs. Each member is unique and it's unclear who the story revolves around
They have a bard with them, writing their stories.
Bard knows he's in a show and is the narrator, trying to figure out who the best MC is to please the 'Gods,' the viewers so that we don't cancel his life

A comedy where the isekai'd MC returns to our world and keeps trying to truck his friends so the rest of the cheat powers are claimed and they can finally beat the demon king.
He gets fed up and starts murdering them, but they awaken with cheat powers on the demon king's army and they're very, very pissed.

you better fucking believe it. Infact all the smaller ships in the fleet need the capital ship to refuel and resupply, so there is a time based element to it.

Also, space is quite. no sound when someone get blown up.

Make the bard a huge womaniser and lecher that wears ridiculous clothes and it's almost there.

>Isekai hero returns after successfully slaying the demon lord
>time to slay the evil thread of Japanese trucks
>he goes on a quest to slay every last one of the evil trucks that have been killing people left and right like there's no tomorrow
>gathers allies who have also been affected by these damn trucks
>turns out they're controlled by AI created by the globalist Jews
>but the jews are actually lizard people from the 7th dimensions
>and they're pedophiles
>MC is going to need an army and an online talk show to take them on

something something isekai also girls?????????

make any anime dark with adult characters and semi competent themes and its an instant elitist gem

The adventures of a redneck truck driver-kun with no special powers apart from his heavy accent and love for big vehicles, in a world full of isekai'd NEETs with the classic OP powers that are all out for his head.

seinfeld cast gets isekai'd into fantasy medieval world

>these elves are making me thirsty

You could make it a story about jealousy spiraling and twisting into hatred and having them be enemies, maybe something like where he suicides and end up as enemies somehow. Bonus if the friend thinks he ended up corrupted because he's a demon and wants to help him turn back into the normal friend that he had.

They should be twisted together somehow, maybe a sorrowful end with the friend remorsefully putting him down and MC realizing just how much of a friend he had or something.

something something isekai INTO GIRLS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
