Why do seinen manga not get any anime adaptations?

Why do Seinen manga's not get any adaptations while we get simple shonen bullshit every season?

Anime is for kids

They are often harder to adapt, they are not as profitable, and the censorship is also an issue.

They don't sell toys

I don't know how to answer this because it's an inherently false statement.

is he still a pacifist?

They do, retard. There are six this season. You don't know what seinen is.

Yes.

1) Anime is mostly for children, seinen is aimed at older audiences. Duh.
2) OPM, Berserk, Kingdom, Monster, Mushishi, Kiseijuu, Emma, Genshiken, Black Lagoon, Kaiji, Gantz, Btooom, Working!!

Literally any of these:

Because they start out awesome and turn to shit. Noone wants to invest that deeply in 9 years of boat or 4 years of MUH FARMING and IMMA BUDDIST BUT NOT NAO

He'll never stop being one. You should give up on asking.

It doesn't sell.

Plenty do, you just have a misconception about what is and isn't a seinen manga, so they escape your notice.

They already sell.

Not shallow enough for autistic weebshits to understand.

Vinland saga would look like Kemono friends with a tv budget.

>moeshit and shitty comedies are considered the same age group as OP pic
Lmao

>OPM
>Btooom
>seinen

Seinen takes effort to adapt, generic shit doesn't.

Vinland Saga, for example, would require 200-300 episodes of giving Madhouse a serious budget to be anywhere near a good adaption. Stuff like Dorohedoro just can't be adapted at all.

The way people regard this series has always felt bizarre to me. Why do you like the angsty edgelord over the character that actually develops? Don't give me that "b-but it killed the pacing!" crap. Farmland was short and didn't have extended hiatuses; it was important for the character and really did actually progress things. The only complaint I consider valid is the lack of Askeladd, but at the same time we exchanged one fun character to get rid of the (intentionally juvenile) edgy kid. It's zero sum.

So basically, quit complaining; the manga didn't go to shit, it just stopped appealing to dumb teenagers who only read to see blood, guts and muh vikings.

OPM is shounen. Don't kid yourself.

>Anime adaptation for Vinland saga
Fuck no. Both art and story of this manga are too good to be ruined by some shitPierrot studio.

The manga is published on the Tonari no Young Jump. It's seinen.

why would any one want to read a pacifist viking manga?

Nobody'd want to see a manga set in the Roman Empire. Maybe some kind of travel writer?

But I doubt a mangaka would put in enough research.

>Vinland Saga, for example, would require 200-300 episodes

lol

...

vinland saga being a 5-minute show is retarded as fuck but i've been surprised before

let's just hope we're in the correct universe

>draw a shounen
>call it a seinen
How is this allowed?

Yeah right, we only watch adult things for adults such ourselves, right?

Action and fun, those are for kids. Real adults like us like only the deepest and most serious posts for adults, like us, adults.

People like muh violence and think him becoming a pacifist is some sort of sjw agenda.
Everyone who complains about this are honestly shonenfags who delude themselves into thinking they are seinenfags.
Same with vagabond and berserk. Farm arc in vagabond is literally one of best things in manga

People who think they are adults and mature because they watch a show with an arbitrary classification that doesn't actually mean that much are idiots.

"seinenfags" are like those people in early 18 who think they are adults and start forcing themselves to do "adult" things but for everyone else their immaturity only become even more obvious.

>read this user, most historically accurate manga ever
>open a random chapter
>no one even carries a shield
>100ft shonen jumps by kicking opponent's weapon
>close and never touch again
Why do people even like this manga?

It's fun.

>farmland saga
You guys serious? This shit should only get a movie until askeladd. The farming shit was just as bad as berserk boat arc. At least now they are traveling again.

So it's basically One Piece with norsemen and ocassional story train-wrecks?

no.

The only thing you got right is the norsemen.

fpbp

The people who actually like the series have no complaints of that sort, the ones who do never cared about the series in the first place and only wanted to see horse punches and shit

...

It's good. Just read it, it's fun and silly and crazy while still being relatively grounded. It get some things right, like equipment in general, and others it just goes full retarded FUN. Good balance overall.

This is until it reaches the farming arc. It's not a bad arc, but the manga changes drastically from a action paced crazy bullshit viking gorefest to something else entirely, with a molasses pacing to boot. If you manage to get through, it pays off, but most people drop before getting very far and I really can't blame them.

memes

So it's basically a pleb filter?

Not really. If you think that you should go back to reading stuff for teens because you clearly lack maturity.

>Nobody'd want to see a manga set in the Roman Empire
Speak for yourself, I'd love some roman manga

Because basically all of us that actually watch it are either in college or just started working if anything and this shit probably almost never gets paid for immediately. That's why tokyo ghoul is a bit of an anomaly.

I hope someday we get a manga or anime exploring the concept of a Europe that stayed 100% pagan, unified, and beat the shit out of everyone.

>100% pagan, unified, and beat the shit out of everyone
Unlikely. Romans already fucked up their empire beyond salvation almost a century before Constantine.

>100% pagan, unified

oxymoronic, pagans all tried to kill each other, Europe has only been united by Christianity

There was the one about Roman spa

Varg pls

people who complain about it are fags. but it is true that the manga has lost some spice without the strong emotions ("edge") it had before.
i don't mind the pacifism, but i do want that intensity back in one form or another. it doesn't necessarily have to be through thorfinn either.

admittedly, thorfinn letting himself get punched was pretty amazing.

I don't think anyone who complains about the change complains about thorfinn being a pacifist. That's not the problem, this development was obvious. The problem is the slow ass pacing, the completely lack of action compared to before and, for me personally, less and less weapon/armor porn.

>a action paced crazy bullshit viking gorefest
I don't think that's ever been an accurate description of Vinland Saga.

Yes.

Yep, the great Thermae Romae. Other Roman manga I know are jesusHannibal in traced 3D background, futa assasin in Elabagalus reign, roman boxers, fantasyBestiarius gladiators, and Archimedes roman killing machines

Is that why Rome was able to hold for 200-300 years with hundreds of pagan religions and languages in it?

Also
>Christianity
>Unity

Rome dominated Europe through brute force

I guess "Might makes Right." would have been a passable reply too.

I wanted to write "Military Might" as a reply, but then decided not to bother.

On the other hand, Military-Might is probably a big piece of a puzzle.

So the genocide of Cathars and the crusades into the Baltic weren't brute force?

What if Rome had decided to build Intelligence Agencies and an Military R&D Arm?

its fucking retarded but true, senpai
you should probably lurk more, that way you can stick around since I think we have similar tastes

You can just read through the farm arc at once now at least. Waiting to get through it was brutal.

fukkin' saved, my man

AD ASTRA - SCIPIO TO HANNIBAL it's more about the republic but who give a fuck it's roman
Historie is also good but it's about a guy during alexander conquest

What about March come in like a lion . Pretty sure that was seinen.

He's viking batman

As much as I hate Farmland saga, it was actually pretty comfy.

To clarify, hate, in that it had a lot less action compared to the rest of the series.

I think it is.

I thought farmland arc was pretty good because of Arneis, but it became boring afterwards
