How does this work? Even if whites are reproducing under replacement levels, Muslims would have to take up a 3rd of the population and name their daughters Mohammed as well to make this story true.

in 2017 170.000 babies were born here and around 800 were named muhammed in total (all different forms of spelling) the native birth number was around 160.000 on a population of 17.200.000 so that is almost a increase of 1% native dutch people. if you split all spellings of the name muhammed then it isnt even in the TOP100 names.

My 800 stat was based on stats of 2016, with 2017's birth numbers im actually suprised its less then i thaught it would be but if you combines Ali, Yousef etc i think it would be fair estimation of 800-1000, still things are looking brighter for the Netherlands then these disinformation outlets claim.

This doesn't mean as much as you think it does. I mean it does suck, but if it was "Mohammed now more popular name than all other names put together" now you'd have something to worry about. But if, in any given year, the most common recurring name is given 100 times, then if 101 mohammeds are born, then that is the most popular name. Without numbers, this headline seems shocking but means nothing.

All OP means is "Mohammed is more common than the second most common name". This could mean that there were TWO mohammeds born that year and every other name is unique. It's just an attention grab title.

But if you read the rest of the thread here There were 636 of 5 different types of mohammeds, and the 2nd most popular name is Noah which has 635.

This isn't good, but it also isn't as bad as it looks. A very high percentage of Muslim boys are named Mohammed so it doesn't take too many for it to become the most common name.
